Service was extremely poor throughout stay, and we did not feel welcome. Poor value for money. Will not stay again.
Although written all over our reservation and calling ahead to notify the hotel of our honeymoon, no attention or special considerations were made upon arrival. I also called to speak to the concierge multiple times to understand if there were any packages available that we could add on, but was told no. In addition, at check-in and throughout our stay, the concierge never once talked to us about the amenities the hotel had to offer including complimentary shuttle bus within 5 mile radius, dining reservations, suggested bars, etc. We only found out due to us inquiring ourselves.
Restaurant/Lobby staff did not approach us at any point during our stay to ask if we wanted to place an order for breakfast from the menu including food or special coffees. Instead, they were busy with other tables, and we ended up being limited to the continental breakfast. Please note that we stayed in the hotel 9 consecutive nights and had breakfast every morning.
We called reception for valet to retrieve our car 20 minutes prior to our departure. After waited at least 10 mins outside and downstairs, someone finally asked if we were waiting for our car. Valet lost our keys in cabinet, and we had to personally locate them ourselves by digging through all of the keys. We were still charged full price for parking overnight regardless of the inconvenience.
In addition, the threshold to the door of our room was not flush with the door. To the point that you can see over a 1/2 inch gap underneath the wood floor outside into the hallway. Also, the door did not close tightly which meant that we could hear anything and everything that happened outside our room.
Location was great!
Complimentary parking within the attached carpark.
Continental breakfast was nice with fresh fruit, cereal and pastries.
