The shuttle service to sites within 5 miles made our visit to Kansas City efficient and leisurely.
Especially Simone in the breakfast area. Makes you feel right at home.
Very clean and comfortable.
My husband and I went here for a short honeymoon. The staff looked at us and treated us like we weren't good enough to be there. I understand we are younger than most people there but I didn't expect to be treated so poorly.
Great location, very clean.
Sewer smell permeated lobby and open atrium on upper floors all day Saturday. Not pleasant.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The ladies in the breakfast room were wonderful!!! The rooftop pool with a bartender that came out and attended to our needs was great. Very classy hotel.
Was blown away by the art and furnishings! We were there for the Justin Timberlake concert and the location was great!
Comfortable beds Amazing shower Within walking distance of Country Club plaza Great Bar Staff was polite, knowlegable, and friendly Valet parking worth the cost
There was a slight smell in the lobby on our second day there. Not sure if it was from the wedding reception in the ballroom or someone sprayed some really bad cologne. It was gone by morning.
The staff was very friendly (except for the staff working the breakfast room...ouch!) The room was very clean. The bathroom was a nice surprise -- a huge shower and also very clean. Our 2nd floor room overlooked a residential street...odd, to say the least...hello neighbor!
There was a strange smell in some parts of the hotel and lobby, especially when entering from the self-park garage. The elevator was very stinky (not a good first impression) and the hallway leading from the elevator to the lobby was also stinky. It smelled as if someone had sprayed the old-school gold can of Lysol everywhere. Lobby furniture is hilarious. It looks like huge adult diapers. I feel like they tried too hard to be hip and wound up being comical. No dressers in the rooms. Weird. Loud a/c.
The rooms were small but comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection. The location is excellent for walking to Country Club Plaza.
You are pay for high end accommodations and get something slightly better than average. The pool is very small and definitely not kid friendly. I watched the manager rip a staff member twice in front of guests. That should never NEVER happen!
Infinity rooftop pool with adjacent room with warm towels was a wonderful touch. The server at the bar came out to inquire if we'd like anything from the bar, that was awesome. It's just an overall classy hotel. Restaurant was 5-star in my book, from service, ambience, & quality of dishes. Loved the free European breakfast with bagels, lox, made to order cappuccino, etc...staff here welcome us and our 3-year-old as if we were family. Will definitely return in the future!
The option to valet or garage park was a bit confusing. But in the end, we went with Valet & will do it again in the future.
fantastic hotel for the price.
Beautiful rooms in excellent location. Staff was excellent.
The bar was amazing good staffed and had most everything you could of ever wanted we spent a few hours there enjoying the sweet bar and the amazing view.
Didn't honor price quoted cost me for one night $315.00 plus $15 for parking in there own hotel. I was quoted $220. We debated on leaving the hotel but of course they already had our reservations, and of course they'd honor that part. There mini bar is crazy expensive up to $10 for a water crazy. They tried to charge me for everything in there because of a computer error, so I'm guessing they do that and charge you and people don't look at there tickets. Breakfast was free but was muffins and raw fish, all we wanted was bacon or eggs or something. Of course they could of made it for me for $20.00. Wouldn't recommend going back or going there unless you like being looked down on without lots of money.
Room and rooftop ambience and location
No to go cups for my morning coffee and no perceived interest in getting that corrected although the deficiency had been previously surfaced by others. Oh. And hour gym equipment could improve
Very classy hotel with great service and food.
Parking was awkward -- got several different stories about the charges, although in the end, it was reasonable.
Loved the huge walk in shower and sliding bathroom door.
Service in the bar was horrible on 7/3. The barmaids were overwhelmed and management just stood around and watched them struggle. Hint to management, no job is beneath you.
- Requested a rollaway bed when booking, didn't get the rollaway until after 9pm - after 2 phone calls and a visit to the front desk. - Had to valet the cars and pay $18 per night per car
This hotel is a very classic hotel. Room was so nice. Whenever I visit Kansas City again. This were I will be staying.
They cleaning people never come to my room to make up my bed and to replace the bathroom towels. I had to ask for clean towels.
-attractive, clean, and modern accommodations -attentive, friendly staff -great amenities including free European-style breakfast and car service within a 5-mile radius of the hotel
Perhaps more outdoor seating on the courtyard plaza adjacent to where breakfast is served.
Manager Tia was extremely helpful with issues and very friendly. Definitely a keeper. She would factor in our decision for a return trip.
Shuttle service and no dresser space in room.
Breakfast wasn't great. Not enough options. Mostly carbs.
Hotel staff member Simone was in the hospitality room during continental breakfast. She helped make our stay enjoyable.
Bed mattress and pillows in guest room were too soft for my comfort.
Clean, modern and spacious
It seemed to be mostly directed toward younger crowd in bar and pool area.
The breakfasts were wonderful..European style. It was close to KC Plaza district so we could walk there. Staff was super
