Best Western Plus South Coast Inn  

We loved the beds, the breakfast, the outside vanity area. It was convenient to the university for us to visit our granddaughter.

Charged me for 2 nights instead of one. When I called, George, answered the phone and insisted that I call Booking.com to get my refund. After spending a long time on the phone and speaking with Nicole the manager, it turned out that Best Western charged me twice, the second time, they used a credit card that I left with the desk, without my signature. In my opinion, this is credit card fraud and I will report it.

The breakfast was convenient. The location in proximity to the college was great. The weather was fantastic.

The grounds are well kept

Very noisey this trip. Hoses dragged against the door early in the morning. Maintenance personnel forget that travelers don't just come in on the weekends

Grounds are very pretty. Breakfast is good compared to comparable establishments. WiFi works reasonably well. Work out room is clean and light.

Waterproof (ie plastic) mattress covers. Good for management, bad for guest. Rooms are dark. Low flush toilets are really "low flush". Must call to front desk to have TV channels changed in work out room.

I was there to attend sports events at UCSB, It is a perfect location for that purpose. Grounds and facilities attractive , room very comfortable and clean and daily service fine. Parking adequate

Could offer more fresh fruit at breakfast . No need to replenish toiletries daily if bottles still have contents. Very little to complain about.

We liked the setting (we had a garden room), the quiet, a couple of comfortable chairs, Wifi, service.

Room, especially bathroom, was in need of updating. The tub had some kind of pad that was glued to tub and flapped up when water was run.

As I rated in Question 2, staff were very kind and professional, room was clean, and breakfast was wonderful.

The hot breakfast is (Egg omlet and Sussage) were both had bacon. I wish they had the omlett without bacon for people who don't eat pork or are vegetarian so they can enjoy hot breakfast too.

Realmente este hotel me sorprendió, venía de otro Best Western en LA y no había tenido buena experiencia. El lugar es hermoso, muy cuidado y limpio. El desayuno es muy bueno.

Hotels were very clean !!!! The beds were comfortable and the continental breakfast was amazing!! Overall staff was great .... I will be staying here again .

We asked the front desk if they knew directions to the trolley/train of Santa Barbara and they just said no? It would have been nice if she would have explained about it .... or looked for it on the internet!!! That is what front desk people kinda do!!!
