I liked that we we're able to walk to Denny's.
The bed was super hard! The room smelled like an ash tray. I thought we were getting a good deal on the room however when driving into town we past several hotels with amenities that were less expensive. If I knew I wouldn't have lost my $80 we would have checked in at the less expensive hotel with amenities down the road. The picture on the booking.com is very misleading. The picture on the website makes it look like you're going to be nestled in pine trees. Reality you're only a hundred feet or so from the main street.
It was very nice little place and very cozy for couples. Would recommend to anyone. The only issue we had was the lack of coffee or continental breakfast. Other than that the room was clean and cozy.
No coffee or breakfast
location was excellent
no coffee maker or toiletries, very hard bed
Larger suite with king bed was a fair value for the price. Front desk was willing to accommodate our room change. Accordingly the stay was satisfactory. Willing to stay again.
First room we were given was extremely small. Totally unsatisfactory. Like being stuffed into a shoe box.
Funny desk clerk
Everything else. Last time I stayed in a dump like this I was in my twenties and drunk.Never again
Had a fridge and microwave
No coffee maker...
Friendly , accommodating staff.. clean rooms but older style décor .
Thunder/lighting storms ..could use new fluffy towels . Ours were a bit on the thin side .
Large room with a fireplace.
Bed needs more padding. Wifi very slow. Tiny toilet.
The bathroom was not cleaned well and the beding was not clean
No coffee pot, no hair dryer, way too small of a space for price (only 1-2 feet of space to get around bed). Bathroom sink still dirty upon arrival shower head only halfway functioning clogged full of hard water build up...have paid less per night at other hotels & received larger room with above mentioned missing items.....room only worth about $30-$40 per night not $75.00
the facility is old. The sink and shower/tub stained, cracked and looked horrible.
The check in person was very friendly.
Everything else! I understand budget but the place could at least invest in new towels.
Very friendly staff.
Mattress and Pillows were horrible. Non smoking room smelled like smoke.
Location in the middle of town easy access to everything
Motel needs to be updated no coffee machine no hair dryer
Low price, clean, good location, wood posts outside.
No coffee in room, tub scarred, towels rough.
The landscaping was in keeping with the forest surrounding Payson. I liked that this was not a resort. The refrigerator was large enough for our water and fruit, and we were able to freeze our ice packs in the freezer portion of the fridge. We were able to walk to a variety of restaurants as well.
The room stayed warm at night, even with the air conditioning. We would have appreciated another pillow each. The walls were too thin, allowing us to hear the neighbors. We would have appreciated a coffee maker and coffee in the room.
Easy to get to.
A little pricey for a small room.
room was clean and odor free
bed was hard as a rock
Management is friendly. It is close to stores and cafes. It is old, but I don't mind old as long as it is clean.
The room needs cleaning around the molding and entrance in all the rooms. It looks like it snowed and no one has cleaned the stains and dirt on the walkway for a long time. Towels are old and small; showing wear, but I don't even mind this part as long as they are clean. They needed a long soak in bit of bleach to get the yellowing off.
Did not like or enjoy anything at all about this gross disappointment.
Room was shabby, old and worn out. Not very clean or maintained. Was supposed to be pet friendly, was charged extra for a small dog. Was not able to stay in regular room because of the dog.
The pleasant attitude in answering my questions by the owner&/or manager,
The sign was difficult to see as you are driving along the street thus leading to the need for a quick turn into the drive.
Old building and fixtures. Needs remodeling.
The manager was very helpful beyond expectation. The manager was the only thing in the place worth staying for.
Pretty old and obsolete facility. Not at all like the picture. Tiny and worn out. No breakfast. Not worth the price. I would have accepted no breakfast, if place was nice and cabin-like, but it was actually more slum-like.
No shampoo. Small towels
