Motel staff are always very pleasant. The hotel is very convenient for Duck games that we attend approximately 6 times a year. Easy access to hotel and nearby restaurants.
Rooms need a little updating (carpet, paint, mattresses) paid $91 (with tax) after booking 6 months in advance (booked 6 different nights for games), when departing large freeway sign stated 53.99 a night.
went out of way to help us have a convenient trip. Shuttle 5 min walk away that takes you directly to Autzen for $3.50 round trip!
Bring your own pillows!
Clean room somewhat comfortable bed
Shower was a bit small for a big guy.
The location was too far away from sweet home. It was nearly 20 miles further than booking.com claimed
Cheap w/ swimming pool.
Too cheap that it has become the home of hobos.
The staff was very accommodating and friendly, with smiles! They made us feel very special. This is our pick of motels in the Eugene/Springfield area every time!
Amenities (fridge, microwave oven, etc) were provided. Clean and comfortable
The room we rented was supposed to be a non smoking room, both sets of bedding were full of burn marks! There were even patches on the bedspread!!! The carpets were filthy!!! The mattresses were of VERY poor quality! I would have to say that this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a motel and it was super overpriced! When we complained the staff at the front desk seemed to be familiar with all the complaints, and at first offered half of our money back! It seems like this May be a common practice.
The location wasn't too bad.
I liked not being in my room.
The room smelled like a dog kennel. The carpet was filthy, the refrigerator had white sticky stuff dripping down the right side from top to the floor, and I was bitten by an insect that caused an infection that two weeks to heal. I used two cans of Fabreze to try to counteract the dog smell to no avail.
The room I had (104) was bathroom and living space, in fact the carpet had just been cleaned that day. The only complaint was the sheets were very worn and thin and the mattress was broken down on the access side from people sitting and laying on that side mostly. The young lady at the desk that night (6/30/14) could not have been more pleasant, cheery, and helpful! The location was great and the price descent.
See comment above concerning the bed.
Like to stay there when I come to town to visit granddaughter's. We have " girls time". They love the swimming pool & I like the clean rooms & staff.
Always when I stay there, there are always people shouting, fighting, cursing, etc all through the night. Would never go to parking lot after dark. Great value & clean but don't like the outside environment especially when my granddaughter's are with me. They tell their parents about the "tweekers" all around parking lot& all the fighting they hear there. I would think Motel would invest in security patrol. Never have stayed there without commotion outside!!
The room did not have curtains that completely covered the windows properly. No kleenex nor a clock was provided. The TV was old with very few channels provided. Only 1 ice machine was available for use. This is a bare-bones motel 6.
The only issue I had was being issued a smoking room to a non smoker. Every hotel/motel was booked due to Graduation @ University of Oregon. Could not be given another room due to being sold out. Bed Mattresses were too soft for my comfort.
They put us in a smoking room and had no other rooms available. In my opinion, if there is no question on the site when I reserved the room, it should default to "non-smoking" -- they disagree. I was told that if I didn't put a comment into the "special needs" box, they could give me any room they wanted.
Close to I5. Easy access. Price is good. Staff friendly.
I asked for non-smoking room but the room we got has smoke smell.
Drapes would not cover window, and the bed was too close to the wall.
I love that every Motel 6 accepts dogs!!!
Just a real good value..enjoyed our stay.
had a clean n comfortable stay.
Price, cleanliness (except for the strong smell in the room), and location.
Worn towels, thin blanket, strong smell, no amenities. I went to see if I could get a cup of hot tea and was told no. Why not offer me a hot cup and a tea bag and I could heat water in the microwave in the room? Tea was available in the am. It was the breaking point and I checked out the following morning.
Front desk right off commented no ground floor rooms, sorry. I said, so requesting it with my rez doesnt help? And she replied I don't see any request for it. And I replied then why did you tell a right on that you don't have any ground floor room? Then she said just a minute and she did some checking and came back and said okay I found a groundFloor room for you. huh? Be integrous. Parking in back, (where was my room), encouraged by mgmnt during ice storm so I had to walk through slush and ice to get to my room alone at night...no spots left near my room. No healthy food in vending machines, only junk. No coffee in rooms and long cold walk for some in lobby. Not fun.
The low cost was the main reason for staying here. Also, it was a very short distance from a large meeting at the Hilton Hotel
Although being within easy access to I-5, that meant it was very noisy from freeway traffic. Also, the guests in the room above ours were quite noisy...sounded like they were jumping off the beds as late as 11pm. Our room was beginning to look quite shabby; carpet stained and badly worn; long wait for hot water in the shower and sink; no small amenities at all. Associates who stayed at the nearby Super 8 and Quality Inn for only a slightly higher cost, were very pleased with their accommodations. We don't think we'll stay at this Motel 6 again.
Close to police station. Feels safer. I have a pickup an it's usually hauling things in the back that I don't want stolen but don't want to unload.
Needs new beds
Convenience of location, quiet.
Small rooms, terrible water pressure- some drinking fountains have better water pressure, no shampoos, no alarm clock, literally just a place to sleep.
