Location was good.
Was disappointed that this suite did not have privacy for the bedroom.
The friendly atmosphere! All the staff treated me and my family like royalty! One of the ladies working breakfast fixed some sausage. It was special because they had ham instead of sausage. She deserves a raise!
No complaints! EXECELLENT SERVICE!
Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Love that you had maps and directions prepared to hand out to guests.
Lukewarm reception. No offer of assistance. Bathroom was not properly laid out. Toilet tissue could not be reached from commode.
Registration/ check-out were easy, staff friendly, beds very comfortable, breakfast was excellent - hot and varied daily.
The sofa bed was uncomfortable.
Close to Asheville downtown and Biltmore House.
Found the breakfast-room to small. Breakfast selection only standard.
The staff was more than courteous and went out of their way to try and make up for the mattress situation the best they could.
The beds were hard as a ROCK!!! we barely slept and woke up hurting all over, Marriott really needs to upgrade their mattresses.
The hotel was located near downtown Asheville.
The overall quality of the accommodations did not support the cost of the room. In other words, the hotel was overpriced!
Staff was great. Breakfast was great. Location was great. Room was pretty good.
Room was not laid out like current models of these suites but still nice. Pool smelled like too stong of chemicals.
Spacious room, great healthy breakfast offerings.
Bed was a bit hard and there wasn't a hair dryer as I've come to expect at hotels of that caliber/price point. Didn't ask for one as traveling companion had one
Room was great. Loved the amenities
Wifi was a pain to use
Breakfast was excellent. Nice clean facility.
The room was really comfortable and well equipped.
The couple who managed the breakfast were the friendliest most helpful staff I've encountered in a long time.
Room had a bit of an odd smell. It wasn't over powering by any stretch but took some getting use to.
No surprises. Everything was wonderful!
The children really enjoyed the pool. We liked the bigger room.
I liked that the sink and vanity was separate from the shower and toilet; also that there was a kitchenette, desk, and pull-out sofa. It was perfect so our sons could have individual beds. We also liked having free wifi. The breakfast was very good with several choices.
Could have used just a little more room around the end of the sofa bed but it was manageable. The breakfast area was so crowded that there was nowhere to sit.
The pool and hot tub was a bonus!
There was a huge group of young soccer players staying in the hotel while we were there. They were allowed to run in the halls until very late at night, were extremely loud, and took over the pool, gym room, etc. It was extremely unpleasant and had I known there was a large group like that staying there would not have booked the room. The hotel staff were gracious and said they would stop the noise but their intervention didn't make much difference. They offered no option to change rooms, did not offer complimentary stay in the future, etc. I was disappointed that they allowed the group to ruin the stay for other guests.
Location gives quick access to everything- whether it's a quick trip to downtown Asheville or jumping on the interstate and heading toward the mountains! From desk has lots of info on many of the tourist attractions and driving directions from hotel. All you have to do is ask. We also liked the breakfast. Very nice , big variety, and entire staff extremely helpful and super friendly- always willing to help!
