I liked the rooms and the staff
My friend and I met half way to visit each other - picked SpringHill Suites because of the pool and hot breakfast. Our room was great - nice kitchen area, sitting area separated by small wall from beds. Beds were quite comfortable, bathroom layout was great. Breakfast was very good with scrambled eggs (could have been warmer), both vegetarian and pork sausage, nice variety of pastries, the usual bagels, toast, waffles, pancakes - honeydew melon, hot oatmeal with nice toppings available, and yogurt. I think the standout was the friendliness of the front desk staff whenever we walked by - asking us how we were, did we enjoy our evening experience, our stay - have a great day, etc. Would definitely go again and recommend to others.
Location is tough because it is right of of Route One north - so that can be busy and therefore difficult to turn off and out onto the highway. The sign should be bigger and better lit - maybe placed before the turnoff. It is just before Sonic. It is set back nicely. I knew to turn off Dearborn Road and make my way in from there. Then we learned that the pool was under renovation - that was our big reason for choosing them. However, they had an agreement with Peabody Marriott not far from them that SpringHill guests could use their facility. So, all was well - we were able to enjoy our time in a pool and hot tub! The refrigerator in our room made a high pitch noise that we found annoying - unplugged it during the night.
The room was great for the price
The heat did not work well
Late Check out handling
friendly staff wonderful breakfast
only one cup for coffee only two large towels bed sheets were too loose like they were not changed
Breakfast eggs were cold and toaster did not toast bagels even with two passes
Beautifully decorated for the holidays. Wonderful breakfast. Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Lovely experience.
It was tough to find using my gps! Other than that, loved it all!
The only thing I didn't like was the fan was really loud when it came on. However, I just turned off the heat and it was fine.
I didn't know how to work the tv
having a sofa in the studio was great...just that particular sofa had a low back which was not ideally comfortable....otherwise, great concept
The Beds were super comfy, and the staff was extremely nice. Everything was clean and modern upkeep
Their was nothing I disliked
The staff was very friendly and professional...a very kid friendly environment as well.
I have nothing negative to say.
Hotel was very clean . Breakfast in the Lobby was surprisingly good.
Cab service to town was difficult especially at night coming back to the hotel. Also, the prices were never the same
Everything. I'm handicap and it was great for me. Maniger was so great also.
Online the reviews were great and the pictures were encouraging. In person, Peabody did not disappoint! Their spacious rooms, great bedding, nice kitchenette, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and attentive host, alongside its modern décor made our Halloween vacation one to remember. It was conveniently located to Salem, as well as any kind of shopping or restaurants you may have desired. the Walmart with the escalator and shopping cart funicular was pretty cool too!
Bathrooms were stylish, but could have used a couple extra wall hooks. We only had (1) trashcan so an extra one would have been great too.
The suites were comfortable, the breakfast was very good and the free parking was nice. Good value for the money. We did not want for anything. We had lots of space in our suite plus it was nice to be able to make use of the lounge area. For example the four of us had a take-out dinner and ate it there. The best part though was the staff! :)
Friendly staff, everyone was helpfull and seemed to enjoy their jobs, and that created a good atmosphere. the bed was the most comfortable that I have slept on at a hotel.
the menu for the tv was a little confusing, the front screen does not have tv listings they are in a book on the desk, so at first the system makes you think that there are only premium and on demand listings.
Staff were great very helpful - first time in Salem ms - went for the witches ball-
The only complaint I have was we were there for Halloween (witches ball) it would have been great if the hotel could have had shuttles to Salem for the occasion - taxis were hard to come by and it was a nightmare trying to get back that night.
Very good breakfast
Front desk staff and breakfast area staff were wonderful. Polite and helpful. Really a pleasure to deal with
Housekeeping services were less than optimal. Did not seem like our floor was vacuumed, beds were poorly made, pillows were not put back on the bed, and the amount and type of towels left differed each day. This lack of attention to detail really reflected poorly on the whole trip. Would like to see recycling receptacles on property.
I called about our microwave and it was changed out within 5 minutes of my call.
The jacuzzi was not working and they said the pool was 82 degrees. When we got to the room we were cold and couldnt wait to get to the pool. The jacuzzi was closed iff and the pool water felt cold.
Clean, friendly staff, close to sites and events in the region. Close to highways.
Hard to get to from highway, can not turn left to get here from highway (just in one direction). Must drive 1/2 mile up and turn around. Can not pay in cash, must use credit cards. I prefer to pay in cash when out of town just in case!
