Score from 500 reviews Very good
The room was clean, cozy and spacious. Every place we wanted to go was walking distance or a quick cab ride. The streetcars were helpful as well. $3 for an all day pass. I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.
When booking on your own and not directly with the hotel, make sure you have a copy of what you suppose to pay. I had to let them know that the price they were charging was not accurate to what I booked with booking.com. They quickly cleared it up, but had I not known I would have been charged a lot more than what I reserved it for.
Clean building and very nice staff. Parking inside on site was nice.
I paid enough for the room the parking at $25 was too high.
Breakfast was good and convenient. Rooms were very clean and excellent water pressure in the shower.
Air conditioner wasn't that great. But we weren't hot either.
I like everything from spring-hill, It's amazing i real enjoy the breakfast.
Toilet kept getting stopped up
Comfort of the bed, friendliness of the staff; awesome breakfast (included)
Parking is tight; room was a bit on the smallish side but who goes to New Orleans and stays in their room?
Hotel was within walking distance of the French Quarter & the casino. As this was a 'girlfriends' weekend trip, I felt safe walking the neighborhood which had lots of restaurants, shopping and even a bowling alley!
The hotel itself was fine....nice staff, quick check in, nice room.
Our room was literally right above a bar that was across the street from the hotel. They played rap music so loud that things in the room were actually vibrating off the counters! Strobe lights lit our room up all night long. The music finally stopped at 4:00 am. The staff apologized but offered nothing for our sleepless night.
Close to the trolley car lines Close to the Riverwalk mall Friendly and helpful staff, especially Nora Great selection for continental breakfast Liked the separate sitting area for television Awesome hot shower
* The pillows weren't very comfortable * Bed dipped toward the middle when my husband and I tried to sleep together so he had to sleep on the couch and didn't sleep well * Not the most scenic, welcoming area. Much better in the French Quarter or Garden District * We suspect that we got food poisoning from breakfast earlier in the day since 3 out of 4 of us (not my husband who didn't eat breakfast) got horribly sick all within approximately 9-12 hrs from eating in the morning. It was the only place myself, my son and my mother all ate the same food during the day.
Very clean hotel, helpful staff, location just within 10 minutes to canal street
Nice room with small suite (working and kitchen corner). Breakfast included.
Poor sound insulation of the windows. Before moving in the hotel, check if the bar *Republic New Orleans" on the adjacent S. Peters street is open. We arrived Saturday evening and we could not sleep until 5AM because of the loud techno music. I read then older statements from the managerial team (Feb 2014) that something would be done, but nothing has been done so far.
There wasn't much of a view. Would be nice to have a soda & vending machine for the rooms separated from the lobby
I loved the staff especially Shannon. She was very helpful and polite. She also was very attentive to our needs as a family. I will stay here every time I'm in New Orleans
All of the Staff was very kind and helpful. I will stay there again. Thanks, RA
exceptionally friendly staff, functional room. Great free wifi.good breakfast, 'served' by friendly lady
This property is a great bargain for young individuals looking to visit New Orleans for a weekend. You can save a lot of money by walking, but it can be tiresome late at night.
The television did not work whatsoever in our room and the room service was difficult to work with during our stay. When we called to have the room cleaned during the day, or the television fixed, the services were never provided.
The hotel staff were very friendly, clean hotel, even though there was a fee to park we didn't have to get a valet. We came and went on our own. Quiet area of town. Great breakfast. One night we asked the desk for some milk to have with our coffee in our room the next morning and they were so nice and gave us some. I would definitely stay there again.
Location was pretty good
Really, Really Dated Décor.......
too far from town center no restaurant very little in the market no stores around
The Staff on duty at the weekend were friendly & very helpful with tourist information.
We were disappointed with the attitude of the catering staff at breakfast times & some of the reception staff during the week.
Hotel is located about 10-15 minutes walk from downtown area and French Quarter. Very friendly staff, clean hotel. Wi-Fi working as expected.
Not hotel's fault as it's the same throughout New Orleans but A/C is set really low compared to outside temperatures so if it can be very freezing walking through the halls in just shorts and a t-shirt. Parking is pretty expensive at 25$ per night but considering the location, it allows you to leave the car safely parked while you take a walk around the city.
Staff was nice, parking garage, the beds were so comfortable!!! Great complementary breakfast. Loved it. Would definitely stay again.
The walk to burbon/ french quarter .. 20-30 min.. better put on your walking shoes.
I enjoyed my stay .I will come again
