The spacious rooms were a plus. Breakfast was great.
Near the most important places in town. Comfy.
Breakfast facilities too small, overcrowded.
I liked that we were able to walk everywhere. Especially liked that we were close to the WWII museum - it is a must visit if you are in New Orleans The shower was great! Did enjoy the woman at the breakfast area - sorry I don't know her name but she was always very cheerful.
The breakfast area was very crowded although I did enjoy the breakfast. Also I would have liked a nightstand on my side of the bed. The mattress was a bit soft for my liking.
The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable.
I've already filed a detail list of concerns about my stay to customer care, without adequate resolution!!!!!!
Great service, great rooms, great free breakfast
My only compliant was the parking. There was a $28 a day parking fee, but the parking lot was under construction and no valet. I felt that parking should have been discounted on the fact that you had to park your own car in a garage that was not up to par to be charged $28 a day.
Loved the location and the free hot breakfast. Room was clean and beds were comfy.
Staffs knowledge of attractions and restaurants
Can't think of anything other than I didn't get to stay as long as we wanted
Location and price was great.
Their key coder was down and we were unable to come and go freely due to having no room cards. Guest services had to follow us any time we wanted in or out for the first few hours.
They had construction going on and didn't tell us we would have to walk the whole block outside with our luggage to get to our room. We couldn't get any help and had to figure it out on our own to use the back door by the smoking section. For 400.00 a night I would hope that they would at least inform us we had to go outside instead of making us ask around. We also asked to have a half hour late check out and they said no problem, but when we confirmed it in the morning they said no way and were very rude. The hotel was clean, but lacked customer service.
the room and the breakfast
paying for parking
Didn't like getting a ticket because of "Insufficient" parking for people who pay $600.00 plus for a room.
The place, near downtown. Hotel brand new, space in the room.
Global organisation, the staff was not sufficient. Breakfast was a nightmare, parking was too small. We have been charged as 5 even if we were only 3 for taxes. We could hope it will be better with the new year as this hotel is well located and have good rooms.
Although in the warehouse district, it is close to the convention center and the new Riverwalk Outlet Area, but we were not comfortable walking at night to hotel. The area is still under redevelopment and therefore a bit sketchy. Homeless sleeping in doorways, etc.
Construction on-site not made known to us in advance, causing issues with the tiny parking garage. It is not even close to being large enough for this hotel and at $28/night, it should be. Pool full of leaves and other debris, not useable. Staff was told by mgmt. they would not be busy, but there were tons of people there, making breakfast a hassle and causing issues for the staff. Not enough front desk help to handle the crowd.
Convenient location. Very close to New Orleans convention centre and easily accessible by streetcar to the French Quarter
Queues were quite long for breakfast even one hour before closing.
The facility was clean and the breakfast was very nice.
The location was extremely hard to find and there was no parking, forcing us to valet park. The parking took forever because of the construction around the parking lot. Coming and going was poor thought out.
Great staff and always willing to help.
The location was perfect for us as it was the company holiday party at the nearby WWII musem. The hotel was having some work performed and it was very nosiy.
Extra big room with all of the amenities. Excellent breakfast
Nothing, everything was great!
The room was clean, cozy and spacious. Every place we wanted to go was walking distance or a quick cab ride. The streetcars were helpful as well. $3 for an all day pass. I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.
When booking on your own and not directly with the hotel, make sure you have a copy of what you suppose to pay. I had to let them know that the price they were charging was not accurate to what I booked with booking.com. They quickly cleared it up, but had I not known I would have been charged a lot more than what I reserved it for.
Clean building and very nice staff. Parking inside on site was nice.
I paid enough for the room the parking at $25 was too high.
Breakfast was good and convenient. Rooms were very clean and excellent water pressure in the shower.
Air conditioner wasn't that great. But we weren't hot either.
I like everything from spring-hill, It's amazing i real enjoy the breakfast.
Toilet kept getting stopped up
Comfort of the bed, friendliness of the staff; awesome breakfast (included)
Parking is tight; room was a bit on the smallish side but who goes to New Orleans and stays in their room?
