Score from 79 reviews Very good
We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel, especially considering what we paid. The breakfast was delicious as well!
Beds were comfortable but room decor was very dated. Breakfast was adequate and restaurant was great.
The hotel is right next to the interstate and must be on the same street as both fire station and ambulance. There was constant traffic noise even after we asked to be moved to the other side of the hotel. We would not stay there again
The parking I did not like the eager valets
It's definitely a good deal for the price. Bed was excellent.
We had a really awful experience with their security guard who knocked on our door at 1 am right after we laughed loudly at something on TV and aggressively insisted that we were smoking in the room, which we weren't, and then proceeded to sit right outside our door listening for God-knows how long. It was awful. I also wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody with chemical sensitivities. The lobby was so overly scented I could barely breath down there, the pool was over chlorinated and gave my friend hives, and what ever they use to wash or press the sheets made both of our eyes burn so we had trouble sleeping. Parking options are also limited. If you plan on staying later than 8 am, you'll have to pay $25 for valet.
I liked having access to the 24hour fitness center which was conveniently located across the street.
The concierge service was despicable.
The location was very good. We could easily walk to wherever we wanted to go. The breakfast was good as well. I enjoyed the lemon water in the lobby.
The finishes in the room were acceptable but very ordinary. The hallway carpets were very loud and dated. The cost for garaging the car was high.
Shuttle service Hot tub Complimentary breakfast.
No sitting room for breakfast as its very busy.
wifi free breakfast hottub/pool
beds were uncomfortable and not a true king size bed rooms were in bad shape Valet parking is really a "parking attendant" because of the poor location in town. This is an overpriced "service" based on the city's tendency to charge overpriced parking fees. Mariot hotels don't normally charge parking fees and this one shouldn't. Largest complaint is the the hotel took payment upon booking. Then when we got there, they took $75-100CAN off our credit card per day, even 2 charges on Christmas day. Despite going to the hotel clerks and their claim that they stopped these charges, it didn't stop until the last day that we were there. At this point, we have not reclaimed the monies. We asked to speak to managers on multiple occasions, but they couldn't be bothered with us. This problem is still unresolved. I would never stay at this hotel again. It is not on par with other Marriot hotels. It is seedy and clearly there is something going on with their accounting.
Breakfast, general service
All service staff was excellent.
Location and view.
Awesome overall experience.
Kitchenette accessories n fridge
Good location fairly close to the center (walking distance). Friendly staff
Expensive (but less expensive than many other hotels in that area).
Bed was comfortable. Room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel.
Grab bar in tub/shower is placed on wrong side of shower. The bar should be either on the inside wall of shower, or the opposite end of shower. Right now, if one wishes to use the grab bar to get in/out of tub, you pretty much need to step into the toilet! Not safe! Also, the eating area was SWAMPED with guests Sunday morning. Room was bursting at seams with people waiting in line for food, all tables were busy, and overflow was eating in the lobby sofas. When we checked at front desk to be directed to Banquet Room (a sign posted at entrance to eating area suggests to use that room if eating area is full), they didn't know what we were referring to. Very congested eating area!
Great full breakfasts
Peeling caulking in the bathroom
This hotel far exceeded our expectations. The room was huge, room service was delicious, and it was nice to have a refrigerator and microwave. We will stay here whenever we come to Seattle.
We were disappointed that there were no waffles, but the rest of the breakfast was good.
The staff are great. Very personable and helpful. Breakfast was tasty. Rooms are big and comfortable.
Booked 3 nights here and requested room away from I5, got room at i5 and right across from elevator. So loud. We were moved the next day but could here people beside us in next room every morning at 4:30
Beds were great, very comfortable! Showers were nice. Free coffee in lobby was great and liked the added touches like water with fruit in lobby Friendly service
Poor choice of beer on tap in lounge Only caffeinated coffee for one in room
The location and that I only had to stay one night
Phillip who checked me in. His condescendingly sweet tone wore on my last nerve. I had been traveling so was not dressed as well as the other guests. I felt I was treated poorly because of this. He made me wait until exactly the 3pm official check in time to check in when the other FOUR hotels I stayed on this trip always at least called me on my cell when my room was ready. He was slightly nicer once my credit card cleared but I felt I was not treated the same as I was the DOZENS of times I have stayed at this hotel in the past.
From check in to check out, everything went smooth and as planned. Staff was awesome and bed was very comfy. A 'very good" experience!
I don't like having to pay for parking when I am staying at a hotel...but this is commonplace nowadays.
Friendly service. Decent breakfast. Comfortable bed.
Very small "suite". Off the beaten path. Very basic furnishings. Little hairs in tub/bathroom floor. Way over priced! $300/night should get you a must nicer, more spacious room.
fees for parking
The location is good if yo want to stay away from busier and noisier downtown 10 minutes away walking distance. The hotel staff is professional.
The hotel Wi-Fi was not working all the time and the connection was very slow most of the time.
