Harrah’s Casino and the French Quarter district are within a 5 minute walk of this New Orleans hotel. It offers on-site dining and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 1135 reviews Very good
Just 2 blocks from New Orleans’s well-known French Quarter, this hotel features restored 19th-century buildings. It has a hot buffet breakfast and rooms with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV.
Score from 533 reviews Excellent
This historic New Orleans hotel was built in a refurbished bank and still features some of the original vault doors. It is less than a 15-minute walk from the French Quarter.
Score from 153 reviews Very good
Experience the excitement of downtown New Orleans at this centrally located hotel.
Score from 421 reviews Good
Small room with no view, too many people for breakfast, daily rate for using room safe
The free wi fi and bed were a solid deal in addition to the breakfast.
The house cleaning staff was always smiling and noticed when we were leaving and spoke to us to let us know that they would attend to our room next. The Front desk was very helpful and the valet and concierge was on top of their game.
I was in New Orleans for business. The hotel is located right downtown and within walking distance of most everything. Staff is very friendly and effecient. Overall a very good value.
There is no fitness facility and the breakfast buffet is a bit on the weak side. That said, the breakfast is free!
In the room description, you don't indicate thatr there was no window in the room. I would have liked to know it
good location, bed was comfortable room was clean
check out staff was rude smaller room for what you can get at a nicer hotel in the same area
This location was perfect to get to everything. The staff were super helpful and made us feel very welcomed. The room was lovely and very clean. Would def stay here again.
The bed was a little on the firm side for my taste but that's just nitpicking.
I was able to print from computer for free!!! Breakfast was awesome and free!!
Breakfast was good, easy check out is a plus
Very noisy in lower rooms
Everything was walking distance.
Having to park in the street to unload your luggage.
The rooms were clean and spacious.
That i was only charged a portion and then was charged the rest later. I thought i had paid for the entire stay and i wasn't notified at check-in that i would be charged the rest.
nice and clean as best western usually is.
small room but that may of been because of last minute pet request
The staff and hotel were just fantastic, very nice, very clean, perfect location, quiet. This is a hotel I will continue to come to when I come to New Orleans!
There was absolutely nothing I did not like about this hotel or staff, they were absolutely amazing!
- Breakfast is very meager - Breakfast seating is too limited, such that many guests have to wait
Very convenient location.
The staff was not overly friendly.
the people and the free breakfast
our room did not have a window and the beds were a bit small
Location is excellent! We were able to leave our car in the parking garage for almost our entire stay, and walk or take the street car everywhere. Complimentary breakfast was consistently good. Desk staff and bellmen/valets were very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and very pretty, if a bit on the small side.
Housekeeping service was inconsistent almost the whole way through our stay. The first day, our room was made up perfectly. Through the rest of the week, though we noticed that some things weren't getting done. Towels were left on the bed, instead of hung up. Our ice bucket liner wasn't getting changed. Cleaning the tub and vacuuming the floor got missed a time or two.
Rooms without windows
The location is fantastic. It's located next to canal street where you will find shops like Walgreens and CVS, as well fast food restaurants as IHOP, Arbys and similars. Bourbon St is less than 10 min walking, the French Quarter is 3 blocks ahead, the Outlet at Riverwalk is around 10 min walking and the business area is just there. The 2 double bed bedroom has a very nice space and the decoration is very nice. Breakfast is the regular one that you will find in a tourist hotel, nothing special.
The size of the double bed is a joke. It's between a full/double and twin bed. I stayed in a 2 double bed bedroom with my wife and 7 and 10 y/o children and they complaint about the size of the bed because it is too small, so, imagine that my wife and me where more uncomfortable. Even the bed wall frame are larger than the wide of the bed.
prime location, small but comfortable room, very clean and newer.
The staff was often very rude and acted as if you were a bother. We did valet for our vehicle and once when we called down to get our vehicle to retrieve some items left in the car we were asked why? and what did we need? as if it mattered.. not how you handle people needing their vehicles when their paying $35 a day to park.
Very pleased with facility, employees and location
Near bourbon street! Harrah's casino and Fulton Street Right off canal street. Easy walk anywhere. Park your car and stay! Also, a hot breakfast was included.
Stella bar is not open anymore so no bar in hotel like ad says. Wifi is very spotty in the hotel. Couldn't get it in our room.
Great locations, minutes to all the new Orleans attractions/French Quarter but quieter then staying there. Mid size hotel, beautifully restored building, great artwork. Comfy bed, great shower, nice breakfast, good concierge service.
Breakfast only served till 9:30 every day, even weekends in New Orleans? Breakfast area a bit crowded, see above.
Great view. Comfortable spacious room. Friendly staff. Located close to everything.
Booked the room late, and got stuck with a smoking room. The smell was awful making it difficult to sleep, and all my clothes smelled like smoke. This is not really the hotels fault, but I'd suggest finding a way to cover up smell. Daily Lysol sprays or something.
