No bad experience
Very comfortable bed and facilities were good in the room. Staff were very very helpful and courteous. |Will recommend to other guests
Not much. The Marilyn Monroe statue in the entrance is rather tacky and not really supportive of the otherwise professional and pleasant atmosphere of the hotel.
Room was more like a studio with full kitchen and separate sitting room section - during trips I prefer to get a bite in my own room to dining alone, so worked very well for me.
position - near DuPont circle
Very noisy at night. Parking in hotel is $49 where right next door you can leave your car overnight for $25.
Location was perfect. Close to Dupont Circle Metro Station.
Cucarachas" in the room as you can imagine after that I did not sleep the entire night. I commented to the person at the desk and left the dead insects on top of the desk of the room. The people who works at from desk are disgusting they don't care about you at all. they were very disrespcful with my husband. First, the front desk person was vacumning upon arrival and let us stand there for a good 5 minutes before returning to her desk to check us in. Room 111 smelled, furniture was in terrible condition, bed lumpy, and yucky bedspreads. All night long there was noise… We had to wait after 4;30 to check in I have a newborn baby.
Location was amazing!
coffee pot needed to be replaced.
easy and friendly staff
Check-out was really slow. Only one person on the desk and two parties ahead of me but both had issues.
I had requested one or two small cosmetics items in my reservation and they were waiting for me when I arrived. Effortless check-in.
Lack of basic things like a working vending machine, water, a working clock, paper towels maybe.
Gym too small
Pay for Wi fi
Nice location and very clean rooms. Definitely gives Luxurious.
I was on the 3rd floor facing the main street and it could get a bit noisy in the mornings. Request a higher floor or a room not facing M street.
Location and staff was great. Price was perfect. Street parking on Sundays is free (starting 6pm on Saturday - 7am on Monday).
the bell hops were very racist. they would help a white customer but myself, an african american was blatently ignored. I was constinantly bothered about my car. There was a 10 min drop off. They rushed me yet did not help me with my bags. There behavior was appaling and I will continue to complain
location and comfort
soft bed, noisy heating in the room
great location, nice staff
it's surprising that this hotel would still charge an extra 12 dollar fee for internet connection.
good location. i had a small room this time (even though i know from a previous visit that there are larger rooms that are very comfortable):
Rooms look like in a 2 star motel and not like in a 4 star hotel - and certainly not like a 'luxury' hotel. Bar and lobby downstairs look cheap and outdated. Was charged 12$ even though I confirmed with the front desk that WiFi would be included. There are easy better hotels in DC.
Was unaware that the internet was charged per device connect not per room. They got expensive at checkout.
Loved the hotel location & helpful staff. Washington is so easy to get around. Martinis are pretty amazing to ;)
The person in the room next to mine was noisy and hit on the walls and slammed doors all night. Did not get a good rest.
If booked at reasonable price it is the perfect hotel, perfect location, very nice, clean, comfortable! Everything in walking distance (if you are good on feet)
no free wi-fi
We got an upgrade to a better room than we paid for and it was absolutely lovely. Beds were extremely comfortable. Location is good enough if you dont mind a short walk.
Very old furniture and carpets. The services are very poor compare to 4 stars hotel. No WiFi :( and Parking fee more than 45 dollars which is a lot. All the King bedroom views are on the trash side :(. I'll never back again to this hotel. I have no idea how is this 4 stars hotel
The garbage trucks early in the morning. More counter space in the bathroom.
The hotel staff was excellent. However, there was one young man in the bar that was rude and acted like we were a bother. Our room was very comfortable - bigger than we expected.
Excellent hotel. Clean. Updated. Great location.Great staff.
The wifi is 12 usd per day per device which is pretty expensive and is not mentioned in the hotel description.
The fact that I had to pay so much for wifi and also they had a limited amount of tv chanels and also the pillows were rock hard
The staff was very freindly helpful and nice
All was good with great location.
