Spacious jr. Suite. Good. Location. Staff was very helpful.
Location is very good ,
Staff was okay , could be more friendly and polite. I did not get impression of Luxury hotel. furniture in the room look very old. They should try to decorate room in nice way, I booked king suite room but it was just a ordinary room, nothing special
Great kitchen, large rooms and very comfortable beds. We were very surprised with what we got for our money. We saved money as well by cooking our meals in the room, which also had a dishwasher!
Would be nice if it was a little bit closer to the train station, but lots of food and nightlife within walking distance!
Nice big room. Nice big bathroom. Beds very comfy. Good restaurant. Room has full kitchen with stove and refrigerator.
Since the room did not a dining table I have to wonder how the kitchen items could be used.
Big room, has a full kitchen inside, clean, nice beds, windows all around the outer walls, really beautiful room. The breakfast is ok, served at the table. The staff is ok, no problems with them. The location is excellent - 15 min walk to white house, 5 min walk to some of the most vibrant streets in DC.
Maybe a bit noisy. You could hear cars and sirens all through the night.
Although I requested a room that did not face the street, I was told that there were others still to check in so I could not be moved. The street noise was disturbing through the night and early morning, leaving me frustrated and tired. I heard the people in the hall and next door as well - the hotel needs to soundproof their rooms before I would stay there again.
Large rooms (suite).
The air conditioning was so loud that I had to turn it off at night.
I liked the good location, it is near the main DC spots and not far from Georgetown
Excellent location, comfortable stay
Location was perfect. Hotel is very nicely decorated (except for the statue of Marilyn Monroe), which some people might like. Staff was very helpful, especially the doormen.,
Unfortunately, the hotel is undergoing renovations and we were awakened by jackhammers which lasted all day until 5pm. So it was impossible to stay in the room for any length of time during the day. The notice sadly understated the situation, warning of "some" noise.
Hotel staff would bend over backwards to please your and help where possible. Location was within 15 mins walk. All round hotel was great and never bored us in the 10 days.
Really of the top of my head there wasn't anything I an think of which would be negative.
The air conditioning was a bit noisy and one unit didn't work as well as the other.
Perfectly located for all of the Dupont Circle activities with easy access to the metro. The room was clean and pleasant. Staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. I would stay at the St. Gregory again.
The air conditioner worked well but was noisy.
no soda machine. I got there late, everything was closed, and they had just a snack machine..
Just a few blocks from the very eclectic, happening and fun Dupont Circle. Short cab ride to National Mall. Nice room, not too fancy but clean and a bit of character. Secure access to elevator with card key, and attentive doorman. Larger than normal bathroom. Really great value for the location and the holiday weekend.
Lounge was not impressive, and the bar area is not large at all. Drinks were good and bartender was great but the drink menu was ridiculous. Phone system is outdated and contradictory. Loud AC unit.
The people were nice, we had to switch rooms and they upgraded our room for free. Rooms were comfortable and hotel was convenient to everything and subway
The room was great: well equiped, very clean and fresh.
The staff was very efficient but not so friendly
Location, Full Kitchen , Size of Jr Suite , very comfortable bed, AC unit was perfect and cooled down the whole suite as it was very warm out.2nd floor front view overlooking where I parked my car which came in handy as I was scared due the confusing parking signs . Lastly the price was just right for 3 nights!!!
Expensive parking Very Small Fitness center Mosquitoes Front Desk charge my card twice (over $900)and gave me some router techy explanation without giving me anything for my frustration but thanks to my bank everything turned out fine. Lastly no late checkout , I would have thought with the charge error mentioned above they would have least gave me a later checkout as courtesy but nope , nothing not even "thank you come again" !! Lol
Accommodated request for down pillows. Upgraded the room when we arrived because the room we had was not ready. Also bottle of champagne was nice.
Blanket and sheets under blanket very awkward. Kept getting bunched up during the night.
Very clean and nice hotel. Almost waking distance from lot of places. Staff is really good. The Suites are really nice and big. Parking at the hotel or near it is easy. Lot of eating places and pubs nearby. Walking distance to the metro.
The room was spacious and clean It had stove, macro wave , fridge, utensils. So cooking was possible for those don't like restaurants.
A bit far from downtown and monuments. it is not that close to subway ( 5-6 min walk) The hotel was somehow expensive, 131$ for one night for one person
