“Awesome location! The hotel is worth the money just for the location. Only a few blocks away from three subway stations. 5 min from Rockefeller Center, 2 min from Times Square (you can see it from the window). Convenient for restaurants and shopping. We plan on staying here again on our next trip to NYC!. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

Great location right near Times Square in NYC The beds were really uncomfortable and we were originally given a tiny, tiny room and when we complained suddenly we were able to have a room 3 times the size that was in the same price bracket - why wouldn't you give people the best room available?? The concierge was rude and did not seem keen to help. However one of the front desk staff was really nice.

Location and we were on the 12th floor which was very quiet and spacious. Reception staff helpful especially Joey. Disappointed with the Delicatessan next door - you can choose better places by turning left out of the hotel and then left again to 6th street. Very hot so the air conditioning was good.

The price was very reasonable in comparison to other hotels that I found in the same general area. The staff as we checked in were extremely courteous and made the process very smooth. The staff was more than willing to offer suggestions as we talked about our plans on what we would do in the city to occupy our time. Very pleasant. While we were at your hotel, we already recommended your hotel to others we were talking to. The positives far outweight any negatives that I could comment on.

He location is the best, and the deli next to it is the best. Very convenient and located in a area that we like to be. We have chosen this hotel for the past four years because of the location. We have had better rooms in the past. Our room seemed to be old and tired. We will stay again, but would hope for a better room next year.

Good location, good value No ice machines, charging to use the computer in the lobby to print your airline boarding pass is very tacky.

The front people were nice. The hotel were old but the room was okay until the night when I was taking a shower. When I turned on the water, a cookrochi dropped into the bathtub!! It was a nightmare!

Very nice place and a great location near Times Square. Room and bathroom was very clean (on the small size but that is common in NYC). Staff was very helpful. It was near most of the attractions in NYC and subway was around the corner for and easy trek to any other part of the City. Would stay there again because of cleanliness, price and location! Only gave comfort a good instead of excellent because they had not installed the A/C units yet (said they were going in the following week) and it was unsually hot in the City during our stay.

Hard to find positive experience. Construction next door had constant noise. The windows were so dirty you couldn't see out. The claim was recent renovation but little sign of this. The carpets were torn and dirty. Security was a concern since the desk held on to the key. In the morning a new clerk handed us the key without any identification.

Great location, if you are in NYC to be out and about, fall into bed and get up and do it again, this is a good spot. It's clean but rough (spots on carpet, dime size hole in the wall). Decent price for one block off Time Square. As in the Euro fashion, they ask you to turn your key in when you go out...

The only thing that you liked in this hotel is the location of the center of Manhattan, in 5 steps from Times Square Most did not like with any kind of haughty insolent, mocking tone of the reception staff spoke to us, including when we asked him concerning the payment. I know English is not quite perfect, and some things I do not understand, but the officer apparently found it funny and openly scoffed at us, writhing faces boorish. Next, forget about the amenities, the interior is shabby, mud everywhere, the room is cold and damp ...

I liked that it was close to Times Square and we could go out and visit but we were close enough to be able to stop by our room to drop off packages or just rest a bit in between sight seeing excursions. There are many restaurants nearby and we were not far from the subway stations. The rooms were quite clean. What we didn't like was the fact that there was no air conditioner. New York in April is not so bad (we kept our window open the whole time) but I cannot imagine staying there during the summer months. Another thing we couldn't believe was that there wasn't even a clock or counter space in the bathroom. It was very practical -- the bathroom was small and the bed was rock hard. Also, we would have really enjoyed having a mini fridge to keep our water cold.

Location is great, one block form the Broadway in the region of the Times Square and Planet Hollywood. Close to several subway stations. Moderate cafes in the samrbuildings. Helpful staff (the guy at the desk spoke russian), it is possible to book the city tours in the lobby. When I was there (april 2012), there were construction works in the 42th street. The street itself is dark and not that safe-looking, and the price of the hotel is higher than I expected, but that seems to be the common problem of ny. Wi-fi was not very stable.

Location and cost (in this order) was the first points that we took in consideration. Room do not have refrigerator. Tv was older (no lcd) and cable service was intermitent. When you paid $190.00 per night you wait at least modern tv.

Location is great! Very noisy. Rooms need renovation. No airconditioning. Noise and wind comes from outside because of broken windows mechanism. Toilet broken and leaking 2 times in our week stay.

I stayed 7 nights and I thought that 'Joey' was exceptional at customer service. Overly though the level of service are low. This hotel is also in a great location - you dont spend match time in your room because you are so close to the subway and Time Sq plus shops...10 Minutes to walk to Fifth Ave and twenty minutes to Cent Park. I liked the location. The lobby was inviting - until you went upstairs...warm and cosy Ok - for what I paid it was a modest room. I did not complain but my room Level 8/808 was noisy - right by the lifts. It was actually a cold room and I did not hardly had any hot showers. 2 in seven nights stay. The room was cold at night and I had 2 thin blankets which were not overly warm at all. However The room was clean and the clean staff were very friendly. I guess it was bearable - but maybe I should have spent a little more to have comfort and warmth No breakfast was included - but this was not included and next door - Cranberry cafe has the cheapest breakfast available - delicious

Staff and location of hotel were great. Short walk to subway station. Great pubs and a deli on the same street. View from the window was ugly. Some times you get waken up by pidgeons. Also the smell of manhattan got indoors too. Wifi worked most of the time.
