This historic New Orleans hotel was built in a refurbished bank and still features some of the original vault doors. It is less than a 15-minute walk from the French Quarter.
Score from 95 reviews Very good
This boutique hotel is on Bourbon Street in the center of downtown New Orleans’ French Quarter. It features an outdoor pool surrounded by a tropical courtyard and a bar.
Score from 121 reviews Very good
The hotel was perfect for us. Unfortunately I broke my ankle walking to dinner the first night we arrived. The staff was fantastic and very helpful in finding me a wheelchair to rent. We ended up leaving early due to my injury but would love to come and stay there again.
Just a suggestion would be to have a wheelchair or 2 available for guests who have accidents like mine (not for general use). It cost us $70 per day to rent one which is an expensive addition to any trip. We bought one at a thrift store for $100 when we returned home.
Breakfast, bed, quiet, bathroom, staff, location, courtyard, bars
Everything was top shelf! Staff at front desk and bellman Larry as well as bellman (didn't get his name) when we left couldn't have been nicer, more professional and better! Beautiful location, room, amenities .... everything was wonderful!
Check-in was hopeless
The rooms were nicely appointed with quality furniture and fixtures. The staff was most congenial. The free breakfast was a convenient perk. The location is perfect--we were glad we chose not to rent a car
Our room was terribly noisy. We faced the street and honestly, the party goes on almost all night. A different room, perhaps facing the courtyard might have been better.
Close to French quarter and Bourbon St. Lovely breakfast. Comfortable bed. Scenic hotel with courtyard and fountain.
Cost is a factor. Wi fi wasn't very strong in my room.
Great location and excellent staff. They were very friendly, even to fans of the visiting team.
The shower head was to low and to close to the wall.
Great location Comfortable and spacious room with extremely comfortable bed Excellent staff Good breakfast
Location Front Desk Staff Doorman Included Breakfast Free wifi Great beds and Pillows Free Water
The location of the hotel propert was rite where you want to be in the French quarter.
The pillows were not up to the quality of the mattress.
Location Big rooms
No room service Beds were uncomfortable
The whole experience at this hotel was wonderful. Between November and March I make 10 trips to NOLA. Stumbled upon this place. What a wonderful find. I cannot say enough great things about this gem of a hotel!!
Beautiful boutique hotel with a lovely and kind staff. Good security and some quiet, just .5 blocks from Burbon Street! Great room with comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast etc. This is the best location in NOLA. Stay here.
Absolutely nothing at all.
The comfort, cleanliness and size of our room and the location of the hotel for the price.
Some of the staff seemed to have attitudes.
The hotel was great. Free breakfast every morning was great and so was the staff. The Hotel Bar was wonderful. Great place to gather.
Hotel is about a half a block from Bourbon St. Loved everything about it
Central location to French Quarter and public transport close by, loads of restaurants to choose from as well
1. Its just off Bourbon so were were close, but did not have to deal with the noise all night long. 2. Nice Breakfast.
1. It's kind of a plain little hotel. I expected it to be more of a luxury place. Its not really very warm and inviting. I was surprised it had such high ratings after I stayed here. 2. The mattresses are kind of hard. They aren't nice pillow top type mattresses that I would normally get for a hotel this expensive. Although, I would imagine the prices were inflated for Halloween.
Location Speed of wifi quality of breakfast sound insulation of rooms friendliness of ALL staff cleanliness of rooms and public areas value
the noisy Aussie quartet having an extremely loud conversation outside our room at 2 AM. But the hotel security people took care of the problem very quickly.
The courtyard in the centre of the hotel with the fountain was an oasis away from the frenetic activity of Boubon Street around the corner. We could walk to Frenchman Street easily and most of the other tourst sights were nearby. Fantastic breakfast.
Quality and location was perfect.Complimentary Breakfast was outstanding. Overall a wonderful time.
French Quarter location makes walking the area a breeze. Close to restaurants, bars, shops. Friendly staff. Great concierge. Beautiful courtyard with outdoor tables.
Housekeeping was a tiny bit lax, prompted a couple of phone calls for supplies. Front desk staffers not always knowledgeable/helpful.
Everything was awesome. The room was nice and dark for sleep and very comfy. And we had three in the room. The included breakfast was a full hot breakfast w everything and it tasted great. The staff is so helpful!! And so nice. We felt like celebrities. I had a lot of pre travel help from Marika but didnt get a chance to thank her in person! She answered all my questions. Some more than once. Super cool. We cant say enough. having the wifi @ breakfast & in the room (included) was so easy. Location is perfect and only for about 45 min one night did we hear bourbon street. Thanks again Mazarin!
Nothing. We Should apologize to the staff for what we did to the room.
Internet price quoted was inclusive of taxes as an actual price, but taxes were added to the total bill. Total price was more than the internet quoted price.
It's a romantic place on the best location in the French Quarter.
