Internet price quoted was inclusive of taxes as an actual price, but taxes were added to the total bill. Total price was more than the internet quoted price.
From the moment we pulled up, the staff was there to great and help. Check in was efficient and smooth. The room was lovely, clean and well supplied right down to a bottle of water each day to take on your explorations. The breakfasts in the courtyard were quite good. The recommendations of the concierge were excellent. Location was perfect for anything. Go again anytime!
Perhaps the only criticism were that the maid carts were briefly loud in the early morning.
Hotel well managed. Staff well trained, friendly and helpful..they worked as a team. Good oversight and followup
Just far enough from the wackos in Bourbon St and well placed to walk to the lesser touristy spots. We had a problem with our first room and were moved to another without fuss. Nice buffet breakfast and friendly staff
In room phone a tad complicated
The breakfast (included) was sumptuous. A banquet. The rooms and beds were luxurious. The staff unpretentious and kind.
Not a thing to dislike.
The hotel was great. Half a block off Bourbon St. I thought noise would be problem being so close to the night life but did not hear a sound once in the hotel. Great staff and nice clean room
Can't think of a thing Breakfast, no that was good Lounge, no it was a nice place for a nightcap Bed, no nice clean king size
The location of Hotel Mazarin was spectacular. We handed our car over to the valet upon arrival and didn't need it again until we checked out two days later. Tours pick up at the door and Bourbon Street is just around the corner. The concierge was very knowledgeable and helpful. The atmosphere was friendly and restful. We especially enjoyed the provided breakfast choices that we could enjoy on the courtyard patio by the fountain. I would go back in a heartbeat!
Everything about the Hotel Mazarin was exceptional from the staff, room, setting, breakfast and location. Couldn't fault anything and would highly recommend anyone to stay there if in New Orleans.
Loved everything. Friendly can do staff, cleanliness, comfort, location. Hot breakasg buffet is also excellent along with the staff.
Nothing - all good.
The staff are extremely courteous, friendly and go out of their way to help you. The courtyard is delightful for a splendid breakfast. It has an air of real quality and good old fashioned customer service. Don't go to any other hotels in the French quarter - this one is the best by far.
The room service starts quite early, they won't come into your room but you can hear them in the corridor quite early. A small point only on a wonderful stay.
Great location Great hotel would stay here again.
The hotel is in the heart of historic New Orleans. It is conveniently located near the docks and the main Bourbon street.
Parking is a little bit expensive but it is downtown New Orleans so I was expecting it :)
The location and staff were amazing and very helpful....couldn't have asked for anything better!
I was impressed with how well the Hotel was maintained. I told my wife they must have a painter on staff full time. We came in at 11pm, and there he was painting the front door!
Friendly and helpful staff, Excellent wine bar. Complimentary breakfast including fresh fruit and eggs and bacon and toast. It is in the French Quarter close to everything.
Clean Comfortable Great staff Great level of service Luxurious Beautiful Can't rate this place enough!
Very nicely renovated hotel with a great staff. Could not have asked for a more polite staff. Perfect location and good room pricing including a really good real breakfast each morning. 50 feet from Bourbon Street.
Nothing not to like about the Mazarin.
Comfortable bed and good wifi. Really close to Bourbon St - this could be seen as a negative but it is fairly quiet for a hotel this close to the chaos. It is however only a short walk to the nicer areas including Frenchman St, the rest of the French Quarter and the river.
Staff were dismissive, uninterested and unfriendly. Rooms with 'limited view' literally means tiny window not that the view isn't very good! Room wasn't ready on checking in at 4:30pm, without an apology.
Everything. Our luggage didn't arrive with us so staff provided complimentary toiletries. All staff throughout our three night stay we're excellent. Breakfast was amazing - fresh fruit salad in individual bowls, yoghurt, bacon, eggs, sausages, pastries, breads, grits. Staff went out of their way to provide anything else required. Fresh water/fruit punch available at all times in the beautiful court yard. We had a room on 4th floor which was large and beautifully renovated. Little noise filtered in from Bourbon St on the busy Saturday night, nothing that kept us awake. Location was amazing. Would definetly love to stay again.
All of the staff were friendly and helpful, from the door, the desk and the restaurant during breakfast. The breakfast was great and convenient. The hotel was quiet, totally silenced from nearby Bourban Street.
location and staff frendliness
single lift - though not a real issue
My husband and I loved the location of the hotel. it wasn't on Bourbon st. However we were walking distance . Our room had a balcony so we were able sit and enjoy the bourbon st madness from afar.
THE HOTEL DID HAVE A POOL on site and does not offer room service . Room had a small hint of mildew smell.
The environment, staff extremely helpful and excellent food.
To short of time for me and my family
I loved the look of the hotel from the outside to the inside. It is steps away from Bourbon St but just far enough down that the noise doesn't keep you up all night. The staff was very friendly. The bellhop, valet and another girl (I wish I got her name) in particular. They were all very helpful on where to go and what to do. I have stayed in a couple of ritzy hotels and staff are not even close to what you get here.... you can tell they are just really good people.
Valet parking was a little high but I guess that's pretty typical for NOLA. I would valet again though next time we go!
