Coffee maker, balcony and table and chairs. Staff. The location and the age of the hotel.
bit noisy first night but earplugs available at request. Also USA hotels are expensive and so 8 nights was quite a drain on my funds but worth the experience.
location was across the street from our son's apartment.
maid service missed a day
Awesome cozy little room. Staff was amazing and friendly. We had the do not disturb sign up and the cleaning service would just slide a note under the door. It was great because we would get in at 3-4am. Great location for sight seeing other parts of the city.
The wi-fi was tough to access. When I was able to it was slow. I was on vacation so it was not that big of a deal. My companion had better luck sitting in the court yard. It could have just been the room we had. There are plenty of other places throughout the city to check email.
Handy to afrench Quarter
Too noisy. Rickety verandah,
Friendly staff, a small clean room, great location
Fantastic place to stay. Central, comfortable , quiet- highly recommended
Constant screaming & garbage trucks every morning at 5am make it impossible to sleep - staff started cleaning & chatting at 7 am. Guests partying in courtyard at 4 am - walkway is ready to collapse with cracked wood - with bags & guest walking on constantly a big wind storm will blow down. Only hotel ever been to that actually thought was dangerous
Entire stay was a joke with noise & human excrement in street 24 - 7
Clean, updated rooms. Efficient staff.
Guest room doors slamming all day and night. I had a room facing the courtyard, and the doors of other guest rooms slammed shut all day and all night. I chose this hotel to be away from the noise of Bourbon St (for sleeping)...they could fix the guest room doors so they don't slam shut.
The location and the charm of the building.
The air conditioner was very loud.
Location and the room was nice.
Noise from the courtyard.
Area was ideal as it was very central.the staff went out of their way to help.
Room on small side if this is a stop while touring as two cases and holdalls filled the room.
Very cosy. Safe feeling. Bed looked very clean. Soft pillows. Nice people working there.
Bed was too small. Waterpressure shower was weak. Wifi was sometimes down. Many drunks and homeless people in the neighbourhood.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was in a great location for walking around the French Quarter, yet it was far enough away from the most raucous parts of the Quarter to make a night's sleep possible.
It would be good for this hotel (and all hotels) to put some kind of grip bar in the shower/tub to increase safety. There was nothing to grab in case of slipping.
There was only one nightstand. Would have loved a refrigerator. Wi-fi did not work in our room.
It was charming
Wifi does not work.
Location. The Inn is in a quiet location of the French Quarter but not so far from any of the attractions that New Orleans has to offer, even if you want to cross Canal Street and go the Museum District. Everything is within leisurely walking distance....that is if you like walking which we do. Housekeeping: Fresh linens and cleaning everyday, which we appreciated. Bed: Lovely firm beds - after long days out and about it was lovely to come back to a comfortable bed with freshly laundered sheets! Keurig coffee maker: Loved it - plan to buy one now. Staff: Friendly and informative at all times
Wifi: The poor quality of the wifi was frustrating and if not fixed would be a factor in deciding whether to return. Management needs to understand that wifi is no longer an optional extra but is a necessity,as the majority of patrons will be communicating this way, in order to keep costs down. It is absolutely necessary for a hotel to provide a reliable wifi service to its customers, preferably at no extra cost. No fridge:Would also like to see a small fridge in the room; as the rooms are small, management may want to consider removing some unnecessary furniture ( e.g remove coffee stand and put fridge in that space and coffee maker on top)
location complimentary fruit and good coffee
WiFi was not accessible in our room no breakfast
Fantastic location, friendly staff, clean rooms.
Very weak wifi - we had to go outside to connect.
The floor had not been swept before we checked in or while we were there.
The staff was excellent, and really accommodated my five-year-old son. Every request we had was instantly addressed. To be honest, I was a little nervous about staying a whole week in a hotel I'd never seen, on top of coming to town rather late on the first day (if there had been a problem, we would have had a hard time changing hotels), so I was really relieved to find such a clean, cool room in addition to super-friendly and helpful staff. Thank you so much, it made our trip so memorable! We will definitely stay here again!
The only complaint I can possibly think of was that we didn't always get the correct number of towels replaced. But if we needed anything, it was instantly provided for us. After a week's stay, if that's the only thing I can think of, this hotel has done a fantastic job!
Room was very dark and small located on corner across from bar so noisy . No fan in bathroom so room felt damp after showering no window to open to get fresh air
Some staff were very friendly and courteous. Some were rude and non-communicative. Location was great, walking distance to a lot of sights.
Bags weren't taken up the flight of stairs to our room; we were told we had to carry our own. We should have been notified about this in advance. When we asked if there were any options, we were told that there were none at all, without furtehr explanation. Room phone wasn't working for our entire 5 day stay. Internet signal was very weak and worked intermittently. On 3 days, we had to ask the desk for towels. Balcony hanging baskets were bare, unlike all other balconies in the area. No space in the bathroom for toiletries - a little floor shelf would have sufficed. A little handout and map of all the close-by facilities and attractions would have helped us tremendously, but none was provided.
It was a nice quiet private place. The suite was nice and large.
The wifi doesn't stay on. Unable to use computer more than 2 minutes
the staff was very friendly and Bourbon Street was only a couple of blocks down. great locatioj
