View of the hotel
Very boring, nothing to do in the hotel, personal is not very quick, few elevators and crowded. You have to change elevator twice to go to the beach because of the hotel situated on the cliff
Great staff that goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. Excellent bar and restaurant options. Beautiful views of the mountains and ocean which you can't beat on the whole island.
The beach is small and you can't swim in too many spots in the ocean. Inconvenient wings of the hotel force you to take 2 different elevators each time you go to and from the lobby. Breakfast is too expensive.
Staff were wonderful. Hotel was beautiful. Food was fabulous.
Felt like we were nickel and dimed all the time. There was no complimentary coffee in mornings. There was no complimentary transportation to the two golf courses nearby. There was a $30 per day for the car. Hotel didn't compare to the four seasons on Maui....for comparable price.
Stunning views Excellent service Beautiful swimming pool
Beach not ideal for swimming as some rocks beyond shallow water
Loved the activities - brunch, stargazing, and s'mores. Quick word of advice, take a lounge chair toward the front of the beach. The pool gets a little crazy with kids. Otherwise amazing place, just make an effort to get off the property if you can. The island is incredible.
Bathrooms felt a little dated.
location. Room was excellent. Valet parking was efficient.
the hotel aspires to be a four seasons but misses the mark while still having the same costs. Attention to detail is lacking with the staff attitude. They only seemed to meet the standard whilst a supervisor was watching.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very nice and silent, which is very important for us.
The smell in the corridor indoor when you come out of the elevator. It smells like 'old socks'. There is only valet-parking, which they charge off course.
Nice views. Good breakfast views. Nice mixture of cloudy and sunny weather. Slight breeze. Range of water activities.
It was an hour from the airport. Some staff weren't particularly friendly or helpful (particularly the bar staff around the pool. Service was slow everywhere (even by island standards). Hotel itself is quite dated. There were some areas of the property that simply weren't being cleaned regularly. Room service for us didn't occur until mid afternoon+. Food was 'ok' at all restaurants and fish dishes were invariably overcooked. No shuttle to the nearby town and nothing within walking distance. Compared to all the other islands I've been to, the sunsets were surprisingly uncolorful.
great scenery and facilities
food and drinks expensive
