On the beach, this Kauai resort features an outdoor pool facing the ocean and reef. A balcony and a full kitchen are provided in all villas.
Score from 7 reviews Excellent
Loved the activities - brunch, stargazing, and s'mores. Quick word of advice, take a lounge chair toward the front of the beach. The pool gets a little crazy with kids. Otherwise amazing place, just make an effort to get off the property if you can. The island is incredible.
Bathrooms felt a little dated.
location. Room was excellent. Valet parking was efficient.
the hotel aspires to be a four seasons but misses the mark while still having the same costs. Attention to detail is lacking with the staff attitude. They only seemed to meet the standard whilst a supervisor was watching.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was very nice and silent, which is very important for us.
The smell in the corridor indoor when you come out of the elevator. It smells like 'old socks'. There is only valet-parking, which they charge off course.
Nice views. Good breakfast views. Nice mixture of cloudy and sunny weather. Slight breeze. Range of water activities.
It was an hour from the airport. Some staff weren't particularly friendly or helpful (particularly the bar staff around the pool. Service was slow everywhere (even by island standards). Hotel itself is quite dated. There were some areas of the property that simply weren't being cleaned regularly. Room service for us didn't occur until mid afternoon+. Food was 'ok' at all restaurants and fish dishes were invariably overcooked. No shuttle to the nearby town and nothing within walking distance. Compared to all the other islands I've been to, the sunsets were surprisingly uncolorful.
great scenery and facilities
food and drinks expensive
