Traditional local decor including the stuffed animals compliments the Inn' s historical past. Great staff attitude. Decent breakfast. Great location on one of the best and most interesting access roads to Yellowstone.
Still waiting for pool and leisure facility to be licensed - not the fault of the Inn.
Very friendly staff they welcome you as a guest and helpful with suggestions of places to eat and visit
Did not dislike anything
TV beside bed so you could not watch TV in Bed.
The bed was comfortable. It was in a good location for access to Yellowstone and restaurants.
The room and bathroom were very small. The floors creaked.
The staff was very helpfull and friendly. The staircase and lobby were amazing. The room was clean!
The room was a bit dated, it could use a little TLC.
Great location to the West Entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Within walking distance to restaurants and shopping.
Location great for visiting park from west entrance. Easy walk into town to shops and restaurants.
Found black mold in tub and bathroom smelled musty. Was cleaned after I reported it. Reception desk staff didn't greet us... just said " credit card and ID." It's always nice to hear"welcome" after a long day of travel.
The atmosphere in the lobby was very rustic, a great gathering area. It was only 1 block off the main street but very quiet.
The morning we stayed there the breakfast room was chilly enough we had to go back tour room and get sweaters. The rooms were adequate but small.
The character of this hotel is wonderful! The lobby is everything you would expect in a hotel located at or near the wilderness. The room fell right into place with the character of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will stay there again.
The only thing I did not like was the fact that the laundry room closes. The closer closing time gets, the more packed it is. With that being said, I do understand, and appreciate, the fact that they value their guests' need for a good night's sleep and shut down the laundry for same to be had.
Room was too small
Expensive for what you get
The staff was outstanding! They were willing and friendly about absolutely everything from computer help to smiles and efficiency in the breakfast room.
The bed was extremely hard.
Liked that it was within walking distance of downtown.
No elevator. Carpet in hallways need cleaning.
Friendly staff at the desk
Poor or bad lighting in the back parking lot, it is scary to park back there you could get mugged and no one may see you; it is an excellent place for thieves to break in cars as well, the bathroom vent works only intermittently but that is how it was designed according to staff; I prefer the vent that works when I go in to use the bathroom or a vent that comes on when the switch is turned on
The room was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable with different pillows to choose so this helped with sleep. The staff at the reception were friendly and helpful. The hotel's close to Yellowstone West Entrance so it's convenient to stay and go in and out of the park.
There're a number of hotels/motels in the same area, some of which could be cheaper. So it's hard to say if the room rate I paid here yielded a good value for money.
Location was great, staff was pleasant, loved the lobby & all day coffee.
Ancient cheap pillows & not comfy mattresses, no hot protein for breakfast. Same price as The Cody Hotel in Cody, WY, but no where near the quality. Owners need to invest in a great property.
I am sorry I wrote fair in the box...I was still thinking of the previous facility. The Stage Coach Inn was excellent. Very friendly folks, excellent communication, willing to cancel a night we did not need. I thought it was a great choice and a perfect location.
Breakfast was excellent.
Room was very very small, we traveled for 10 days, mt Rushmore, badlands, yellowstone, grand Tetons and steamboat springs Colorado. This was the most expensive room the entire trip, by $25 over most rooms we stayed in.
Decor, room size.
They had a nice breakfast set up. Hotel staff was pleasant and check in was quick. We got there early and was able to get into out room. I liked the location and easy access to Yellowstone Park. It had a quaint decor but if they would spend some money on room rennovations this hotel wouldn't be so bad. Quiet room.
The room..... airconditioner was loud at times. The bathroom could use a definite update. The ceiling came down at an angle which made the bath/shower very cramped. Small bathroom that needed some updates. Our bed seemed to sit at an angle and provided 2 sleepless nights. There was also a bit of an odor that we never could figure out. Thankful the window could open to air out the room. No refrig or microwave....and when I made reservations the information noted this was part of the room.
Proximity to the Park entrance and adequate parking.
We were supposed to have 2 beds or a King. When we arrived they had put us in a single queen. The best they could do was a terrible V-shaped roll-away bed that I was stuck with for 3 nights. The vending and ice room on the second floor was locked at 10:00 PM. I had requested to be near the entrance but was put on the 2nd floor away from the elevator, making lack of access to the ice even more frustrating.
Great location. Clean. Nice hotel.
A bit over priced.
The cost. Nice place, but way overpriced.
