We had only the kitchette sink in the room to wash with. We prefer one in the bathroom. Shower small but updated.
Clean, well stocked, comfortable double bed, good TV reception, friendly folks, updated interior, close walk to town, delicious breakfast.
There's no room for a sink in the bathroom. You have to use the small kitchen sink.
Mo and Sue are the best people! The king size bed was sooo comfortable!
Can't think of anything.
Staff, location, walking distance to anywhere in town, peaceful retreat after a long day of touring.
We were on a motorcycle and on our check out day it was raining. They let us stay way past our checkout time until the rain stopped. Great breakfast also!!
The carpet was dirty and worn..There was 1 tiny bar of soap for 6 people to use and no liquid hand soap, the pump was empty. The chair in the living room was beat up and broken. The picture on the internet was nothing like our accommodation. The batteries were dead in the satellite remote and the TV remote had nothing.
The beds were new
Sorta run down...but adequate.
The breakfast was awesome as was the cook.
Room was very small. Bed too small for a couple
Friendly staff & lovely breakfast
The 'cabin' was an old trailer with a hole in the floor. carpet taped down but with nails or staples sticking out resulting in a cut foot. There were permanent trailer homes right beside us and junk everywhere
Beds were comfortable and bedding clean.
No bathroom sink - had to shave in kitchen sink - no radio- no phone - no sofa as shown on confirmation- extremely small.
Not a bad experience but our first impression of the place was "oh no what have we gotten into". The office area and the entrance to the building was very cluttered with so much stuff, I wasn't even sure I was in the right place.
Loved our morning visit with the owners, they were so personable and informative about the area and it's history. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable, by far the best night sleep we'd had during our weeks visit to the area.
The queen cottage was not what we expected, a double wide trailer. The range hood vibrated and made a loud noise every so often, hard to sleep on the pull out in the front room. The place is old but still pretty comfortable.
The people were very friendly and had lots of recommendations of what to see and do in town. The breakfast was good home cooking. We were two blocks from shops and attractions. The place was clean and shower was steaming hot.
No extra linens or blankets. Night was very chilly with just the use of a space heater in one room, We thought by the photos this was a cabin however this was also an RV park and our unit was a mobile home trailer, no outside sitting area as described.
Walking distance to town and activities. Friendly staff, although slow service the home cooked breakfast was very good.
hard to regulate the water temp. in the shower the water got very very HOT
great location to walk to tombstone..
The view of the stars from our deck was amazing. Breakfast was an unexpected delight. Can't say enough about how nice and helpful the owners were.
False advertising. It was advertised as a "family cottage" with a photo of a log cabin, but it was an old single wide that spawned jokes of trailer trash.
The people were nice but the place was a wreck, a hoarders paradise.
When u wake up and go to breakfeast its a great meal
There was no heat. Owner was very cranky when asked to provide the services promised. No heat, no microwave, no hair dryer, very poor internet connection.
The local birding is good.
trash around the place could be a haven for mice, rats, etc. However, we never actually saw anything.
friendly, helpful, cabin was comfortable, clean, small but adequate.
The cabin we booked was not available upon arriving but our host gave us a much larger 2 bedroom trailer for the same price.
Location as we could walk to everything. Breakfast was excellent. Wifi was really one of the best I have used.
The accommodation suited our visit and the hospitality of the owners and staff surpassed our expectations !! Thanks Sue and Mo .....we will be back !
Perhaps the dead cars at the front of the cabins could go? A bit of a tidy up at the entrance would make it easier to identify the office :-)
The owner-operators and staff are warm, friendly people. They are ready with a suggestion for activities in Tombstone, anecdotes and trivia. Great breakfast, cooked fresh to order. Pleasantly surprised by the comfort and cleanliness of the humble cabins. Definitely family-friendly, our 4 and 6 year old girls loved it! The office/breakfast room is overflowing with a clutter of collectibles, but I think it just added to the authenticity and made Stampede memorable.
The rest of the place was very cluttered with junk and was run down
Staff was very informative and friendly, cabin was clean, breakfast was good
Everything - Room was a modified trailer roughly 10 feet square. Most uncomfortable bed took up over half the room. No sink in bathroom?
Websites are very misleading for a cabin. Read the reviews sort out the ones that are fabricated. Heat system made so much noise could not sleep. Shower control did not work was either extremely hot or extremely cold. Did not quite compare to what we read.Would be good for a single person not a couple. Was called the honeymoon suite if this is what I did on a honeymoon, I would be divorced already. Drove a half a mile up the street stayed at tombstone hotel the second night so we could shower and sleep. The cost was $20 less per night with superior amenities. I never had filled out one of these until this time. I would say a fair price was $50 per night you would expect this.
Was walking most all the distance to all the attractions.
