Very comfortable room and bed. Really nice staff.
Front bedrooms a little noisy from street (but they kindly accomodated us with a move to the rear of the building).
Beautiful hotel all around.
The hills to get to the hotel from Union Square if you are walking. Expected for SF.
Friendly staff Comfy beds Hotel facilities Location
Really comfortable bed, large bathroom, good view. Staff was great, patient with a credit card issue we had. Bar serves good drinks.
No minibar and only one bottle of water - you have to buy them from reception
View, comfort of beds
lounge was very average
Great location. Fabulous confortable bed.
- Cable car noise that only stops at 12 night. - Expensive.
Excellent location, very comfortable room with high quality bedding. First class Wifi with plenty of public PC's for internet connections.
Expensive but that is the case everywhere in San Francisco. Would have expected breakfast to be included at the price I was paying.
Great view. Friendly staff. Very close to Union square. Fisherman's wharf is about a 25 minute walk. Room was very clean and well kept.
Being at the top of nob hill, it was a fairly steep hike back to the top every evening.
The hotel was in a really good location and the staff were so friendly, providing us with lots of helpful hints and tips. They even provided complimentary champagne as it was our honeymoon. The room was light and clean - it was a little noisy due to the trams outside but they did not keep us awake. would definitely recommend.
Great staff and reception
Very comfortable, good staff, restaurant food good, good location on Nob Hill
Upon arriving we were told that we had been upgraded to the junior suite and also given 2 small bottles of champagne which was very nice of them. The room was big with a great a big comfy bed. Immaculately clean. Had a well stocked gym although I never used it. A bottle of complementary water is in the room along with a small coffee maker and Starbucks coffee which is also free. The area around the hotel is fantastic, 2 tram lines intersect right outside the hotel which is really handy, and it's only a 5 minute walk downhill into union square. Would definitely recommend and use again myself.
The shower heads are quite low down the wall for a tall person like myself but wasn't really much of a problem.
Close to public transit
We reserved a king suit, we show up and are given a queen suit. We are put in the corner room supposedly with a view. The room had no refridgerater, two uncomfortable chairs to sit in, half the outlets didn't work so finding a place to charge phones was a task. And that nice corner room was right on the corner of two trollies so every 15 minutes or so you could hear the ding of the bell making it hard to sleep. And $60 to valet our car a night.
Hotel is very dated. No room service, mini bar, horrible and cheap supplies in the room [kleenex, tp, shampoo, mirror] ...it was not a luxurious experience...I checked out after one night. This hotel should Not have a 4 star rating.
Nice hotel, good service
Expensive, no breakfast included and everything is extra. Even for the parking we had to pay 52 usd per day! Price of almost 500 usd per night is not reflected in extra quality of your stay. Room is small and average.
Nothing in particular
The breakfast was very poor standard. Couldn't get a drink of any description during the day!
Nothing at all!
More expensive than it deserves.
Hard to walk up and down from the Nobhill and back. Some rooms very noisy. Had to change once. Rooms not modernised. No buffet breakfast.
The rooms are very nice. clean and cofortable.
I watched the final cup game at the hotel lobby and neuther TV large screen was in perfect condition. Also the hotel is very up in the hill so it needs good excersize to climb for it. Still we enjoyed our stay there
Stanford court is a great hotel. It's comfortable at a nice location within walking distance of china town and union square. The cable car stop is in front of hotel so that's a plus.
The cable cars are a noisy and you could hear them at night.
We stayed for 5 nights, the housekeepers just put away the bed sheets everyday instead of changing it.
The location was fabulous and had great access to everything. The room was clean and the furniture was nice.
The bed was too hard and made a good night sleep impossible, both my wife and I tossed and turned all night and we woke up both mornings with sore backs.
quiet and comfortable with a pleasant and courteous staff.
furnishings and the hallways appeared a bit old an in need of remodeling.
Catch all 3 cable car lines from in front of the hotel. Excellent concierge staff.
Noise from cable cars can be an issue. No microwave in room.
