View, decoration, staff
the hotel charged twice for the room with the payment by credit card, we had to call the hotel and our european bank to fix th problem. The staff was very tired and seemed completely indifferent to what goes on.

The comfort of the beds.
very comfortable room, good location
Everything about the hotel
Great location, in the middle of many important amenities. Withing walking distance from fishermans wharf, union square, chinatown....
Location was great. Staff was good. Rooms were reasonably maintained if spartan. Great launch pad for exploring SF.
The elevators were inadequate (insufficient number), broken down twice, and slow. Limited services in the hotel.
the bed is very comfortable, the staff is very courteous, room is the right size ...
Free wifi View Fast check in fast check out Good location View
Bottle of water not free Pillow not comfortable Cleanliness
Location. Proximity great food options and shopping. They have great amenities, i.e. bikes for guest use, and the staff is full of great recommendations.
The hotel met all my expectations.
Heleina and the staff were helpful in providing exceptional service.
The noise from the trolley. We were on the 8th floor but could hear everything from the outside. Also the elevators did not work for 2 out of 3 days.
Located at California and powell Stanford Court offers easy access to the cable cars going both directions, easy walk down the hill to Union Square or relaxing walk to the wharf. I would suggest upgrading to a studio suite the extra room is well worth the money.
The $25 corkage fee seems ridiculous near standing there has a guest. I would suggest waving the corkage fee if you're a guest to the hotel.
Comfortable room, fast wi-fi, central location, big TV. We asked for a quiet room and got one.
Noisy heater/aircon, pricey breakfast, insanely expensive parking (don't come with a car, we didn't.)
This is a great location. Yes the streets are often steep but two cable car lines are right on California street and cabs are quite reasonable. The staff is well trained polite and friendly. Best hotel wifi I have ever experienced. We were upgraded to a room with a great view (6th floor). You are in the same area as The Mark and the Fairmont but more affordable!
We were a but disappointed in food service, there is no room service(coffee makers are provided in each room with Starbucks coffee). There is a brief early morning counter breakfast serving but not full breakfast. Then no food service until 5:30. The lounge/ bar area is very attractive and comfortable with large chairs books and reading areas great for an evening drink. Hope they plan to resume full restaurant service at some point.
Loved the upgrade to the great skyline view room on the top floor. The room was spacious, clean, modern. Felt pampered. Staff very friendly, helpful. Location very convenient.
Mattress was sagging so I woke with a back ache. Wife's side away from the window she said was fine. Street noise might be a problem (cable cars) for some folks but as I am from S.F. and lived on Nob Hill it didn't bother me.
Staff- why the jeans and grey shirts...trying too hard to be young/cool. When ringing hotel from external number or room, excessive # of rings before someone answers; happened at least 4 times. Lack of room service really not acceptable. You now cater to airline crews? What a departure from the days of a high class Nob Hill hotel. I was in airline industry for over 17 yrs....have stayed at a billion hotels.....catering to airline crews tells me your standards have been lowered. One evening I observed a client/guest at the front desk in what is termed a 'wife beater' t-shirt! Oh, my. The Old Stanford Court catered to a classier client. What a shame. Not sure I would stay again or recommend to someone else. I did love my room.
Everything was perfect. Great and friendly staff. Loved our room I just wish we had better pillows. Overall a great place
Location, Comfort, atmosphere, staff.
