Rooms got cleaned and made up everyday for the most part. quiet and clean parking lot off the street.
Kitchen so small it was unusable. and a little out dated. beds where made up very quickly had some of our pillows still between the sheets.
Cleanness, comfort, nice knowledgeable staff
Loved the Hotel Manager Location close enough to Stanford
Staff Bed Quiet Close to Restaurants
Excelllent location, great service and advice from the owner. A place to recommend in the Stanford / Silicon Valley area
WIFI worked very well. Bed was good. Room was very clean and had been updated with natural stone. The air conditioning worked quite well.
The exterior could use some attention.
Staff Cost Proximity to town and good food
Good location and very good staff.
Says Pet Friendly but the Pet Deposit is actually a Pet Fee. No refund if the room is fine upon departure. I only picked this hotel because it advertised pet friendly. Also, there was nowhere at the hotel itself for the dogs to relieve themselves. You had to leave the premises for that. Another disappointing feature.
Location. Very convenient to Stanford Medical. Clean. Great staff. Good beds.
Pretty beat-up, unsightly repairs, fridge missing handle and shelving, outdated electrical systems.
The outside of the place was different. It had painted murals and a nice pool a patio with lovely flowers
The rooms were old and dated. Old bed covers ect.
Office personnel very helpful.
Cost vs. Location and age of facility
It was a good location for my needs. The rooms are a bit dated décor wise, but it was clean and quiet.
It was a bit pricey for the quality of the rooms. You're definitely paying for location. That being said, I would probably stay here again if I needed to be in this location.
We stayed here during the graduation season. It costs us $298 (including tax) for the one night stay. For that price, you would expect "hotel quality" or at least an updated Best Western style motel. However, the room was very dated. The place needs a major renovation. And to top it all off, my wife found a hair on one of the pillows.
An older motel that had been kept nicely up to date. Lovely pool area.
I liked the staff who was very helpful the location is good almost in the center of Paulo Alto.
I think that it is overpriced, the rooms are small, the place is more of a Motor Inn than a Hotel.
Location was what we needed .
The noise coming from the air conditioner was very loud the pillows were lousy!! It had all we needed but this was not a luxury stay. The comfort level did not match the price we paid.
Service and location were excellent. Character of the inn, with the murals and landscaping, is unique. Very accommodating staff.
The breakfast is OK but doesn't offer many options.
Neal was the best person you could have for your office. Excellent service. He really cares about you. Five stars for him.
That there aren't more people like Neal out there.
Great funky CA character--murals, pool, a full stove and oven in my room.
It's a motel. It's not the Hilton. That's OK.
Neil the manager was amazing and went out of his way to make my stay comfortable!
Staff very friendly and helping. Let me take a shower just before my flight on my departure day. (A few hours after check out) Good situation in Palo Alto. Rooms a bit old but ok.
The onsite staff were excellent. I returned for a 2nd night stay due to the wonderful staff there. The female was very polite and assisted me with places to eat and gym location, etc. She also informed me of the guide inside of the room. I plan to stay there tonight as well due to the service there. You guys have done well with the onsite staff you have there. The second night I was there, there was a man in the office and he as well was very polite. The place is quiet and in perfect location for my business travels.
Very old and not that good of shape. Beds were very old and not in good shape. Very expensive for the shape that it is in. Did not honor the Stanford rate because I booked thru Booking.com but when I talked to Booking.com staff they said they would honor the rate.
