helpful staff-very clean-good location-all subways close-airport bus only 2 blocks away
only i elevator-sometimes a long wait
Location and convenience
Forced to upgrade from the first pre-reserved $309 closet-sized queen room with no window. We were told that no others were available until manager offered a better room for plus $40. The room faced a bright lighted video sign and had very noisy air cond.
Very large rooms, breakfast included
Very old outdated rooms, with a bit of a facelift it would be a really great hotel.
The breakfast could be better.
extremely dirty dead bugs in bathtub live bug activity throughout the room stains on wall stains on carpet cigarette burns in carpet
This hotel was on a great location it offered everything we needed, I had read some poor reviews before I arrived and could not find the faults other people had written about. Yes there is only 1 elevator but the wait time was never long, breakfast was enough to get you started for the day, bagels, muffins, juice & coffee and as much as you like and we never had to wait. Clean and great value for money
There are a lot of restaurant near hotel. Staff members are kind. Quite Good Bed and Bath Tube. Free Wifi.
Elevator is small and slow. need to improve brackfast service. since they always serve bagle and cofee, juice and milk. please add one or two more food, such as ham or harmon ? if so, I would be happy in next time.
No cereal at breakfast
Location,good front disk people
Rather poor breakfast
Location and room was the best.
Breakfast, it was poor and busy. We have to remark also the difficulties to take the lift, only one for a 12 floor building.
location size of room staff helpful
breakfast a joke for a boutique hotel* *charge more if necessary or close it no vending machines no ice machines Tv channels back in 1990s
Clean, cozy, and great location! Would definitely book another trip to NY and choose this hotel again!
Can't think of anything :)
Comfortable, room was very quiet, and friendly staff members
wi-fi cut out at times, staff members seem a bit inexperienced
low cost (relatively to other accomodation variants for the dates) and very nice location/personel (overal value)
Location was good, less than 5 min. walk from the 34th Street – Herald Square subway. Staff was very fiendly It is possible to arrange a shuttle service to the airport atthe front desk. Price - quality ratio was good.
Close to everything good size room with bath
No coffee or tea in room the breakfast was the worst I have come across it let the hotel down
The location is very good
The price Breakfast
great value for the price
The staff were very professional and polite. The room was recently updated, clean and very comfortable. This boutique hotel is better than a number more expensive hotels I have stayed in. The Korean restaurants near the hotel are fantastic. Best Korean BBQ in NYC.
Saved about $100/night compared to fancier hotel which was just across from Penn Station. Instead, this is a few blocks away, and is in Koreatown. Several 24-hour Asian restaurants on the same street are convenient if you are up late. Very cozy wine bar on second floor, with 50% off most drinks 6pm-8pm...gets very packed at that time.
Lobby a bit plain and elevator a bit small, but not that bad. Room was basic but nice.
Close to time square, broadway and the subway. Rooms are clean. It was quiet except for when the neighbors took a shower. The pluming makes a loud noise
elevator are ridiculous long when you're on the top floor. No water pressure in the shower, I couldn't wash my hair. Beautiful view of a brick wall but we didn't come here for that anyway.
Felt old and a little run down
This is a great Boutique Hotel, in a very central area of New York. We were on the 10th floor of the Hotel and had no problem with the Elevator, the room was big enough for 2 and had good air conditioning along with facing onto the back of the Empire State. Breakfast was good and we had no waiting. The staff at the hotel were pleasant and helpful at all times. We would definitely go back to this Hotel again. A really good, basic Hotel for New York.
no issues at all.
