The fireplace was lovely and condo was spacious. If you're in town to ski and there with a family, or group of college kids- this type of accommodation is fine.
The bathrooms were rusty, dirty and simply 80s style cheap quality. The steam bath did not work. In fact the entire condo's decor was inexpensive and outdated. Mismatched hardware, broken floor tiles, skeezy carpeting- I didn't trust the linens. My husband and I visited Stratton for a romantic weekend to celebrate our anniversary- for the price we paid anticapted more of a hotel quality vs college spring break style. I encourage the management/owners of the condos to invest just a little to make these accommodations not just a place to sleep. If you're here to ski or with a big group, preice is fine- but if you want to actually feel comfortable in the room then look at other lodging options.
The condo was awesome! Nice and comfortable with a lot of room.
I wish there was a little market in the area where you pick up a couple of things you needed but forgot.
the room was misadvertised and was a drive to anything. The room was exactly as it would have appeared in the 60's. I would not recommend this place at all.
fireplace and sitting on deck plus walking around the village
could use a little paint on outside door and rug cleaning
love the backyard and the kitchen
we stayed there for three nights and ran out of shampoos and shower gels the first night but toiletries were never refilled in the following days.
Very comfortable, good pillows, clean and spacious. Hard to find where to go to register (off season) Would go back again!
It was quiet and vert homey
The apartment was cosy and very functional. The location is very good. Many things to do around.
King size bed needed a new mattress forced to sleep on the twin mattress
This condo had everything that we needed to be comfortable. We even cooked most of our meals and the kitchen was well stocked.
This property hasn't been updated since the 1970's…so if you can look pass the decor, it really is a good space.
The condo was great. A real surprise for the cost. The view was awesome. They had maid service which we didn't use except for trash pick up but that was nice too! Very clean and kitchen well equipped.
The only thing was we thought the fitness center should have been included.
Location, layout, size, cleanliness of bathrooms and kitchen- the rest marginal probably because of its age. Availability of free firewood. But dislikes outweighed the likes. Maid service nice but unnecessary for us.
The unit felt too much like an 80's condo that had not been updated. Bed coverings and couch pillows were old. rugs were old and in places covered with other ruglets some taped down, some not. Window over couch should have a thermal curtain because it is very cold on the couch. We had to hang a blanket over the window to reduce the cold there. For a unit which sleeps up to 8 (we were three adults) there should have been more than one puny Folgers coffee packet. Why even have just one packet? At these prices, some basics such as cooking oil, sugar, sweetner packets should be present. Recycling container not adequately labeled, maybe it should be another color like green or blue.
Large kitchen, living and dining area. Ample space for the 5 of us. Wood burning fireplace was a nice touch.
These condos are in need of major updating. Bathrooms are in need of repair, updating and thorough cleaning. ie mould in grout and sliding glass doors for tub falling off the tracks. Arrived to find mouse droppings under the kitchen sink. This unit could really use some TLC.
The proximity and the door to door shuttle service were excellent
The apartment looked like it hasn't been renovated since the early 80's. We didn't want to touch anything. Especially the disgusting carpet. Very disappointed in the place.
Size of apartment and amenities were perfect for a family and guests.
Felt like a real get-away. Most relaxing vacation we've ever had. Will definitely be returning same time next year!
Super hard to find our way around. Spent about 45 min just driving in circles trying to find where to get checked in. I expressed some frustration to staff with very little empathy.
The Vantage Point condo we rented was in a quiet part of the huge Stratton facility. We were there for autumn leaf season, so weather and skiing were not the reason for our trip, and the quiet area was welcome. The condo was very comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. Stratton is centrally located for touring southern Vermont near the major state highways.
