Great staff and generous space, heavenly beds!
We just would have liked a few snack options in the fridge to avoid going out on a cold day or a foyer bar. Also a few cushions on the sofa would have made it more comfortable.
Basically everything! They overbooked the hotel when I got there, so they upgraded me to one of the biggest rooms at no extra charge. We had the Plaza Suite and it was wonderful- big rooms, nice sized kitchen, little dining area. Really felt like home! Staff was also some of the friendliest and most accommodating people I've ever experienced at a hotel
The shower would turn cold every now and then while I was showering, but I'm sure if I brought this to the attention of the staff, they would have done some about it quickly
The facilities, the staff, the location.
Lack of some kitchen utensilies like smaller pots.
The staff was friendly and ready to help. Location is very good - you can walk and see all the interesting spots. Rooms are really big and comfy, dated a bit yes but I kind of like that . . . World Bank is really close which is great if you have meetings there. If you don't feel like making breakfast or coffee CVS, Sub, Starbucks , Dunkin' donuts are right like a minute away. Metro is also close by if you don't feel like walking.I would stay here again for sure!
Wi-Fi didn't always work great but it was not a big deal at all
The staff was extremely helpful and thoughtful. While the room was very plain, it was extremely clean and comfortable. If I am ever in DC on my own dime again I will definitely stay here. Great value!
There wasn't a thing I didn't like
The generous room with kitchen. Friendly and efficient staff at reception.
brekfast wery good. Spacious Rooms.
A bit old facion . If you do'nt mind old facion then it is wery good. The reseption rather ber. Brekfast expensive.
No Microwave in kitchen, No fan in bathroom
We were pleasantly surprised to find a large, well equipped room, with kitchen and large bathroom. Could gave done with a microwave though. Also first impressions on arrival were not favourable as it looked tired and not very welcoming, but once we reached our room it was a very pleasant surprise.
close to most attractions; the room is very spacious; next to a university so feels safe; wifi is good. will come back again next time.
One of the staff was not friendly at all but the rest were nice.
Very central, close to sights.
Very good location, close to subway; good price for what it offers. Breakfast is not included but it's not very expensive and it's very good.
Location, staff assistance and attention to detail. Value for money.
Soundproofing was limited, could hear noises ( papers being dropped off at doors at 4 am, someone having a shower at 5). Rooms were dated particularly the bathrooms could use a total upgrade as well as kitchen.
- Spacious, clean and new - Great value for money - Superb location (in a walking distance to the Mall, Lincoln Memorial, etc.) - Great & safe neighborhood with CVS & Starbucks nearby - Helpful and friendly staff & housekeeper - Excellent kitchen with ample kitchenware - Fantastic bathroom Loved everything! The best accommodation theoughout the trip :)
Nothing! Everything was perfect.
Had a kitchen. Complementary bottle of water every day. Location was great as well (close to main attractions).
had to pay for parking (32USD) per day but I believe that is the case for most hotels around the area.
The location was fantastic. I was staying for a conference being held at the Convention Center, ~1.5 miles away, which serviced a shuttle to- and from- the hotel, so it was still convenient. It was a 10 minute walk to the National Mall, Vietnam, and Lincoln Memorials, as well as the Foggy Bottom Metro center. The view from the room was also very nice.
I had booked two queen beds for my travel-mate and I, but upon arrival, they didn't have that facility available and instead gave me a "complementary upgrade" to a suite with one king bed, a pull-out sofa bed, and a kitchen. The pull-out bed was unbelievably uncomfortable, and didn't have any sort of comforter to go over it. I called housekeeping to acquire a comforter, and they brought me 2 pillows.... they had no idea what a comforter was, and eventually brought some kind of spongy thermal blanket. Whatever. Pulled out the bed to find old cheetos and peanuts underneath. Thought I would have a cheap dinner so bought some soup from the conveniently-located CVS next door, but there was only a large pot and a skillet in the kitchen, and the bowls were so small I could only microwave half of the soup at a time. The water pressure out of the sinks was so low most of the time it was almost a drip, and the hot water was very inconsistent. Didn't make for a pleasant shower. My room was also right behind the housekeeping closet, so there was constant noise from people going in and out (all night), and something (the heaters?) would turn on and make a loud grinding sound at variable intervals. Overall, I was disappointed and felt I paid probably $100 more per night than I should have.
Very well run mature property. Hope to stay again.
Location- This hotel is located at the end of the Boston Public Gardens and a 5mins walk (with suitcases) to the Public Library to catch the bus to the airport.
Boston Convention Tax is added on top of normal Sales Tax Maintenance of the hotel- The bathroom was very tired looking (shower not attached to the wall, sink cracked etc)
Liked our free upgrade thankyou
The first room had water leaking from the heater unit. It caused wet carpeting and leak was right up next to the electric outlet mounted on the side of the heater. The second room could not control the temperature in the room. A fan was provided as a remedy. It required leaving the windows open all night. DC is a very noisy city. The room ran out of hot water a few times. The staff was unable to fix any shortcomings of the rooms. I would not stay there again.
Great location, Clean beds, Spacious room, bath and kitchen. Felt at home. wifi connection was good. Great place to stay in!
It is a pricey place, so a breakfast can be included in this price.
The room was quite spacious and very comfortable for an extended stay.
Very few restautrants in the near vicinity
Having a kitchen was great. We had some tickets to print and there was an office where we could do that which was a big help.
The wifi was spasmodic in our room, we were told it was to do with our phones' security settings but it was a bit frustrating.
size of room, shower, kitchen , huge bed and location
No air con as it had been turned off so it was too hot, however they did provide a fan. Lighting in the room could have been better too.
Location. I stay on the F street side and I am across the street from my daughters dorm and very close to all things GWU. Huge spacious rooms and closets. Real hair dryer. The bed! Comfy beyond words. Free internet.
There is absolutely nothing to complain about.
