The staff was good and the security guard at night was comforting.
Leaking toilet, water leaking in the hallway making floors very slippery, clogged sink, very small rooms, no coffee maker or hair dryer.
Place is super filthy, from bathroom, to bed linens and overall appearance of the facility.
The staff was friendly.
*Nasty ring around the tub. *Pipes coming away from the wall. *Curtains so bad they didn't cover the entire window. My husband propped a chair to the curtain so we could have privacy. *A hump in the bathroom floor almost made us trip. *No floor strip to separate the bathroom from the bedroom area. It was exposed concrete which could have caused someone to hurt themselves. *I couldn't believe while walking in the corridor that all the windows were missing. *Because the conditions of the hotel was so poor we worried about the possibility of rodents or roaches. Usually my husband and I would not stay in such a bad hotel, but It was a Jehovah witness convention taking place in downtown Detroit and most quality hotels were booked. I made the decision to try this hotel. Next time I will pay more money and stay somewhere else. The outside is appealing and looks fairly new but when you go inside, its like "What the Hell have I done."
The rooms were very hot, malfunctioning, illegal activity (Crack sales, prostitution, etc.) Unclean, holes in the walls, shower. Overall gross and uncomfortable.
The house keeping lady was very sweet
The man at the front desk was rude as hell
Nothing worked . Should be shut down. Faucets were broke . Pillows dirty . Phone doesn't even work. Door doesn't lock right . TV was broke. No management to talk to. It was a experience I will never put myself or kids through again. The price seemed decent when I was looking for a night in the area. I was almost ready to just leave and cut my losses .

I've traveled extensively around the country and this, by far was the worst hotel I've ever checked in. I thought I'd save some money by staying here due to its proximity to the convention center and not having to pay the room rate of the bigger hotels downtown, but that was the worst decision I've ever made. As soon as I walked in the room, it reeked of smoke and filthy smell, I had to leave and run to the nearest CVS (at 1am) to buy a disinfectant spray and air freshener. I swear I must've emptied that whole disinfectant spray and the room still smelled like garbage. I wasn't able to sleep at all due the noise of the air conditioner, the people talking outside and the fear that someone might just blast in my room and kill me. I've never felt so helpless and fearful in my life. I have booked here for three nights but didn't have a choice but leave that very morning and check in a better hotel. Lesson learned--you get what you pay for. On top of that, you are in a very bad neighborhood of Detroit! Never get yourself lost on that stretch of Jefferson.
its not about the motel, its about the Detroit city
It was in a sketchy neighborhood and nothing really looked clean.
It's close to downtown, if you're willing to walk a little. Staff was very helpful and nice.
The bedroom was smelling cigarettes, even being a non-smoking room.
The pool was not in service
I love that they had security outside
I was a little bit disappointed because the pool was down
staff smoking behind counter, and I smoke, guard swearing outside at main entrance as we were checking in
I was in room 121They need to change the shower curtin there was blood on the shower curtin they need to put some paint on the wall. The entry doors need to be painted, its in a good location just need to be update.
The room was good, the best worker is Ashley, Her customer service is excellent!!!!
The desk employee was nice.
The place was filthy & in deplorable condition! We did not even stay, we left within 15 minutes of seeing the room. Mattresses, sheets, carpeting were blood stained, holes burnt in the blankets. A very very bad experience!
Nothing ,We were Ripped off as far as I and my wife believe , We thought we were getting a room with a Hot Tub and I had to upgrade to get what we wanted .. And It was Terrible, Very dirty(the hot tub) we didn't even use it , The room had a 2 in. gap under the door, The hallway's did not have windows , We could see daylight around the heater In the room ,We were very uncomfortable staying there , Not much parking, And the noise , But that was the other customers there . The dead bolt lock did work on the room door . If I knew that I could have Quit my reservations and went somewhere else, I would have done so !
Everything ...We will never stay there again, Nor will I use your service again.! Never again !
Room was clean, comfortable and excellent price. Wi-Fi worked great!!
Heater/blower ran all the time and very loud. Unable to reduce speed, no knob on blower, no help from front desk. Used ear plugs but only partially helped.
the room was warm and the tv worked well.
the lighting was poor. bathroom light was out, making it difficult to shave and put on makeup. the room was cramped, not spacious like the pictures showed.
Everything is outdated
I enjoyed my stay, room was clean, staff was very helpful I was well taken care of thanks to Kenny I will stay again next time I visit.
Found a bed bug on the bed so the whole night we slept on top of the comforter. Thankfully its only 1 night.
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Staff was great but room terrible. Stains on sheets, bath tub discussing , we did not even take a shower. Mould in corners of walls. It was not even worth $20.00 to stay there let alone $130 which we payed because of the winter classic and New Years. What a rip off
