they ran out of hot water for showering, the hotel was not clean, no waste can in the bathroom, and housekeeping was non-existent.
location was downtown
The room wasn't clean, plus the establishment as well
Location. That's it!
The pool was down. After I checked in, I discovered cigarette holes in my bed sheets. Wifi didn't work most of the time which was really important to me. I tried to get my money back so I could just go to another hotel and they would not return my money and made me very upset in the process. Avoid this place.
The price was fairly good.
No face cloths, the heater knobs were broken and I couldn't use the internet.
The price was ox
Drywall patches in walls and doors. WiFi was out of range in our room.
Location was great for the places I was looking to go
No room service. Not enough wash cloths and bath towels. The carpet was dirty. Allowing late check in we had a room full of small children crying and running down the hall all night. No microwave or fridge or hair dryers in the rooms. Television didn't have local stations no clocks/ radio in the too.
The location. Because of the storm it made it easier for me to get to work.
Very very small king room, cobwebs, cigarette burns on bed, hair on towels, door from hallway wouldn't shut
the room wasn't to clean, shower wouldn't get hot and I didn't like the fact that I couldn't look outside to check on my car
It was heated nicely
The bathroom was a mess.
I could smell smoke the whole day and night although my room was smoke free area.
Close to restaurants.
Cleaning Needs To Be better
No windows facing the river, no in room coffee, or amenities in lobby to include news paper or Wall Street Journal.
There were no windows on the outside of the building, just open holes where there should have been windows, making it very cold and loud. There were cigarette burns in our blankets, and cigarette butts in our room, as well as, ashes on the bed side tables. We also opened the dresser drawers and found bags of trash inside of one of them. Oh, and the toilet didn't work either. The couple we were traveling with found old food, cigarette butts, soda and beer cans and a diaper under their bed. The pool was also very dirty and cold, and there was not a jacuzzi as the hotel advertised.
The only good thing about this hotel is that it had two ply toilet paper.
The ac did work.
I like everything about the room didn't have any complaints.
Everything was horrible, no hot water or heat cover on bed was dirty, bathroom was dirty it was horrible
it was conveniently located to the event I was attending
If you are expecting a great value, maybe this is what I payed for. I would say the biggest downfall is that if you actually plan on spending time in your room this is a pretty bad room for that. If you plan on being out and about visiting Detroit and rarely in the hotel, it's actually very convenient.
It was very close to where we needed to be. The room seemed pretty clean, but I didn't really have that great of a look. I mainly went for my event and got drunk and passed out for the night. It did have security as promised and everything was good for the neighborhood. I would recommend it if you want something cheap and reasonable for being cheap. It appeared very safe and clean. That is all I needed and that is all I got.
Booking through booking.com was not recognized and we where told in a very rude manner to deal with booking.com ourselves since they belive booking.com is a third party the hotel has nothing to do with it.
There were no hangers in the room. If I hadn't brought some, I would've been out of luck.
Whith whatever request I had, i.e. remote control for TV, clean towels, they were quick to accomodate.
Staff was not helpful and declined to call taxi. Neighborhood was awful and taxi drivers told that it is not safe to go out after dark.
Air conditioner not working 84 degrees in our room at 2 in the morning.no response from office we packed up at 5 am.We were on 3rd floor hole in wall were another air conditioner was covered up with cardboard 1 towel in bathroom. Didn't go to pool but sign said open 5 to 10 don't book it
Close enough to downtown
I understood why it was the only available place to stay at when I opened the door to the room.
Only available place to stay at. That was good.
This place was a disaster. Seems like A LOT of illegal activities go on here from drugs, to many others. This is not somewhere to stay if you are traveling or visiting here. We walked in the room and within 5 minutes we checked out. I grew up in the South Bronx so I know a thing or two about low end motels and this was the worst I have ever stayed at. In a very rough neighborhood in Detroit and all we saw people outside screaming, making noise, playing music at ridiculous levels, smell of cigarettes and marijuana. I don't like to hurt business by leaving bad reviews but this has to be said so someone doesnt get hurt or put in danger by going here. As mentioned, I grew up in one of the worst neighborhoods in New York City and I still did not feel safe to stay here more than 5 minutes. The walls and doors were so thin that someone could easily kick the door in at night, I could hear all sorts of fighting and yelling in the rooms and hallways. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I AM MORE CONCERN THAT BOOKING.COM WOULD ASSOCIATE ITSELF WITH A HOTEL LIKE THIS. THIS IS MORE OF A HALFWAY HOUSE FOR RECOVERING ADDICTS NOT FOR FAMILY OR BUSINESS STAY.
The first room..The Door Lock did not work and we were moved to another room where the lock did not function 100%, but was better than the first..Just a little uncomfortable sleeping when your not sure if the lock works correctly on the door..We put the Chair in front of the door to increase security..
Price was good and the location was good for area to local BallParks, Football Fields, and Casinos..
