Mix up in my reservations!! Hotel staff handled it perfectly!!!
The was nothing that I didn't really like. The only problem I had from time to time was the internet.
I really liked everything about this hotel. I think everything chance I get I'm going to look for a Staybridge first before any other hotel especially if I'm staying something for a couple of days.
Just a bit far from downtown: 15 min from 6th street. For us it was the only "negative" thing but this depends on the scope of your travel.
Everything was really good
The bed was a little too hard but manageable
Booking did not have our reservation in place upon arrival. If this happens again I will never use Booking again.
I didn't think the breakfast was good for what you spend.
Attitude of staff even though they were very busy at check desk. Only 1 person to handle 4 guests checking in.
Unfortunately my only issue was with the internet. Spotty and very slow. I did not report it because it was not a "must have" during my trip.
Excellent, friendly staff. That weighed heavily on my review. I would stay here again based solely on hospitality..
The room was spacious and we liked how you could close off the bedroom to separate it from the living room. This room passed the inspection of my picky teenage daughter (which is hard to do!). She told me how much she liked it!
Parking. I've stayed here twice and I LOVE it. I recommend it to anyone traveling to Austin. But this last time we were forced to park across the street from our hotel. Which mind you is a bit of a walk, considering we paid to stay at the hotel. With that being said, we thought our car would get to be there too.
EVERYTHING! Great place
The desk help (one young girl) was the only person available to check in and out and there was a loooong wait to check in. Plus she was answering phones on a Saturday. Get more desk help please. The signs for the elevators are very, very poor. I went up and down two hallways and never found the elevators that are set back into the far corners and have a regular door covering them. What? Also, fresh, seasonal fruit on the breakfast buffet would be nice. And finally, I had just checked in....the icemaker was off so I had no ICE and there was not a public machine available. I left a message at the front desk and NEVER received a call back about my request for some ice. Which goes back to get more front desk help please.
Location, room was clean and spacious. Quiet surroundings. Comfortable
A bit hard to find, especially with all the road construction. Would be helpful to have specific directions listed to hotel.
The staff was great. Check-in was handled very efficiently. Adelle was outstanding!!!!! She picked us up after we dropped off our rental car and on our way back to the hotel, we told her we were not able to find the restaurant the front desk gals sent us to she offered to take us to a nearby Denny's. Since it was late and we had a very early flight the next AM we just wanted to get back to the hotel. Adell would not let us go to bed "hungry". She gave us the fixings for ham and cheese sandwiches for dinner and also fruit, yogurt and muffins for breakfast. She was very kind and went above and beyond to make us comfortable.
My second booked stay ended up not happening. Arriving late, and looking forward to rest after a long day of travel, I was informed I was being put in a smoking room, which was not acceptable. I agreed to try it, but it was like stepping into a used ashtray. The odor was overwhelming. Back at the desk, I was informed that using a 3rd party booking service meant I got the "overflow" room, and it was that or nothing. I insisted on an immediate refund, and drove over 100 miles home at 1am. The clerk was borderline rude, and disinterested in my situation. Not the service I was expecting, on a reservation made over a month in advance.
I had two one-night reservations here recently (bookends to flights leaving early and arriving late). The first night was everything I could have wanted. Good room, good service. However...
Only negative was the half an inch to an inch gap at the bottom of my room door--wasn't really an issue-
Unexpectedly, we were offered free dinners from Tuesday through Thursday (for business people)- along with the free breakfast-- saved a lot on meals! (PS and they served free beer!)
The coffee wasn't great.
This property seemed fairly new; the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast bar wasn't anything special, but it included some hot dishes and fresh fruit.
The only problem we had was that our AC unit was a little loud - rumbled constantly, but it wasn't a real big deal for us.
The room was very nice and clean. The full kitchen was nice to have for the few days we were staying. The staff was great and very nice. The breakfast was pretty good and there was a nice variety of items. Tues-Thurs they have "socials" with free food and drinks.
The staff was extremely friendly & helpful! Definitely returning to this location but with our family next time. Great location!
Not getting the shuttle from airport to the hotel . Had to pay $ 13,00 for s cab. Clerk did reimburse. Just qute aggrivating to call n call. Calls are how you get business . Looks like, a clerk could put a person on hold for 2 min. Same thing happened last year. At another hotel--only at 10:00 at nite. Thats why i changed to this place. Ill just plan on a cab from now on. Keeps clerks from getting mad and defensive. But i really liked the place and will stay agaim.
I made several calls to get the free shuttle , no one could amswer the phone. So i had to get a cab . I will stay there again and recommend to other real estate brokers, family and friends. Jt
Location was difficult to find to unfamiliar traveler. Road construction was a factor. Room was not ready upon arrival.
Very much liked the room layout; bed was comfy;bathroom was roomy; kitchenette was handy; staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Cleanliness Proximity to airport Kitchen Full refrigerator

Very quiet and the room was nice. We were able to bring our dog with us and that was a big plus. Also, the breakfast was very good. We enjoyed our stay.
