Friendly, courteous, respectful, knowledgeable, staff. Clean room, bathroom, linen and towels. Wi Fi, computer room with all amenities. Great ensuite kitchen facilities. Good location, near everything touristy.
Could use a homier decor in the dining room.
Big, clean comfortable suite. A great breakfast selection and good location, walking distance to Canal, Bourbon and Decatur Streets.
Wifi was not available on the 15th floor - good thing we were too busy enjoying New Orleans to use it anyway. We were only staying on the weekend but they do not service the rooms on the weekends. Parking at the facility costs $33, even though we paid for 2 full days of parking, we were not allowed to park the second day past our checkout time.
Liked most of the facilities, the availability of water + coffee available throughout the day. Liked the Tues, Weds & Thurs 5.30 get togethers, loads food available as well as drinks. Large comfy bed. Very quiet great nights sleep on the 9th floor. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Don't go here if you really want to use the swimming pool which was the reason I choose Staybridge Suites instead of La Quinta Suites as I needed to go swimming to exercise my knee following a recent operation. The pool was so uninviting, base did not look clean tho it might have been but I couldn't use it. It's location was directly outside the windows of the dining room which had no curtains so one would have to swim with an audience at times. The facilities to sit by the pool were minimal, no loungers just a few cafe bistro iron tables and chairs. Hardly any space surrounding it and was shaded by the high building most of the time. Instead I had to use the fitness centre which was grand but I don't fancy these machines, would much have preferred to swim. Also renovations/window cleaning was being done during our stay so what little space was available by the pool was taken up with cherry pickers. The kitchen area of the suite could do with handles on the presses and the delph, glasses & cutlery were unclean. Had to scald all in boiling water before use.
Free breakfast and weekday light meal days, a staff that strove hard to please, the location, the good value for the money.
Location is very good. Very close to French Quarter, Acvarium. Kitchen facilities is good enough for cooking of light dinner/lunch. Big refrigerator.
Price for Garage is expensive. Room has some smeels.
Staff is courteous, helpful and attentive!! Highly recommend this hotel
$30/day parking but that's not the hotel's fault.
This hotel was great, my fiancé and I wanted a little weekend getaway to New Orleans and we had the best time. This hotel was wonderful, we walked everywhere, the hotel was very clean and big, and the employees were very helpful and friendly. I would deffintly recommend this hotel, and the price is excellent for the stay.
They were out of parking spots so they let me park in the loading zone right by the door and it was super convenient. My room wasn't ready when I got there at 4pm and after waiting a bit the clerk asked me if I'd take a smoking room at no charge! YES! It didn't even smell like smoke at all.
The hotel needs a bit of updating and two of the lamps in the room were broken, but so what- it was fine!
Great location Comfortable room Close parking
Wi fi Parking was convenient but a bit pricey.
Good location, very close to the Convention Centre and easy walking distance to the French Quarter, Tremendous, Garden District etc. good comfort and space
Housekeeping is a bit hit and miss. Some days they come, some they don't.
Having to pay $30 for 1 day of parking.
The room was super! The staff excellent and informative. Kudos to Monique at the front desk! The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast very tasty. Right across the street from Harrah's casino and a few blocks from Bourbon St.
The hotel is at a great location. The staff was incredibly friendly and gave us great tips on where to eat. When we checked in, the attendant helped us save money on parking by recommending that we opt for parking on the street since it was a weekend.
On our second day at the hotel, the WIFI was not working. We called the front desk and they were not helpful, only claiming that no one else was experiencing issues connecting to the server, instead of helping us figure out the problem.
Liked everything very nice, best staff that I have come across in some time
It was very clean. I like the FREE food and drinks at social hour Monday thruThursday I had wings and salad and cookies We walked everywhere close to everything. Ate at Mothers across the street U get full kitchen and FREE popcorn for your microwave Lady at front desk was nice she was the only one I seen the two days I stayed
The pool is locaited in a very unconvieted plase. Mayby thats why anyone was using under my visit. It was one reason I chosed you.
I liked the friendliness the breakfast and evening reception
They kept the same breakfast menu sausage would have like bacon
location in relation to attractions
parking is terrible
Great spacious rooms, with all facilities.
Staff were useless, uninterested and unfriendly, which is unusual for hospitality management. Parking was outdoor. Hotel had no parking service facility. Price on parking was USD 50 for 24 hours. The first morning I was 15 min late and car was bogged and USD 90 fine. Car broken into the following night, the even stole the parking ticket, sunglasses and a few minor items. Car fined again, ended up costing me USD 250 for parking outdoor 48 hours. Arrange parking before you go!
We had a great stay. The breakfast and light snack which was more of a supper were excellent. The location could not be better as you could get away from the merriment of Bourbon Street and it was a close walk to everything. The rooms were excellent and I loved having the kitchen.
The towels were changed daily but because of the environment, I do not think the hotel needs to change them daily unless requested.
The staff were very polite and helpful. They didn't seem put out no matter how many times I asked for directions or recommendations. The locations was very convenient as was the on-sight private parking (even with the extra cost). Free laundry was nice but the soap costs extra so be prepared for that. The breakfast as nothing spectacular but the coffee was delicious and more than made up for the breakfast! Free drinks at night was also great!
There was a lot of someone else's hair in the bathroom ALL over. It was in the shower, on the floors and even in some towels - before we used them! Carpet wasn't very clean at all, we decided to not go barefoot in the room because of the residue it would leave on feet. A dehumidifier would do the room some good. The floors and towels never really dried. A certain bit of that is expected in the humid south but steps could be taken to minimize this.
The stay wss great
I booked through an booking agency . I was quoted a price . But was charged 14 percent taxes on it. Was upset the hotel did not provide parking for it's guest. But instrad you had to pay extra just to park in the garge. So the deal I thought I was getting was not a so called deal
- Several false fire alarms - Only one proper room cleaning during the 5 days visit -Breakfast was awful; higly processed, artificial etc. -wifi stopped working recurrently -hotel full of very drunk, badly behaving customers
A great price and the best place to stay.
