Excelent location Very comfortable room No noise at 25th floor Breakfast included
Few elevators for rush hours Restaurant crowd during morning Wifi very slow and not working all the time
The value was excellent; the hotel far exceeded our expectations. They even granted us with a late checkout!
Slow elevators, no tub in our room.
Great location and great staff.
Noisy refrigerator in the room.
view waiters service(especially Karina Castillo)
We walked out of the bus terminal and the hotel was 1 block away. Close to theatre district, plenty of places to eat and sites to see within walking distance. Staff was very nice and the breakfast buffet was vast with an assortment of foods.
The bar closed to early!
I loved how clean this hotel was. Having the kitchenette there was useful. And worth the money.
The wait for the elevators was unbelievable. We stayed on the 3rd floor so thank god the walk upstairs wasn't bad. But anyone staying above that floor, good luck waiting for the elevators. Location was okay, it's like in the back streets, wasn't a bad walk from Time Square, I still recommend not walking alone at night there.
We enjoyed staying at the Staybridge! From the time we arrived, the staff was excellent, especially Jaime, who did everything to accommodate us! We were celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary and were surprised when we arrived after walking around NYC for the day ~a bottle of wine and chocolates with a note of celebration to us!! This is a great place to stay, so clean, great breakfast buffet, reduced parking and close to everything!! We will definitely stay there again! If you stay there, hopefully Jaime will greet you with his super smile and caring way!!!
The staff at the hotel were great. The front lobby staff were fun and lively. Good breakfast and great location
My husband and I took our first trip to NY recently and this hotel made the experience so much better! It was clean, the staff was super helpful, the breakfast and free happy hour was wonderful, and the location was perfect! The room was actually a decent size for NY, and the kitchen was actually useful. Would definitely stay there again
The shower in the bathroom was a little small, I could barely turn around in it. Also, sometimes the elevator took a while to get on because of all the people and floors (not the hotels fault just annoying). On our last day there the elevator broke and we had to walk 18 floors to get to our room, which wasn't fun, but hey at least we got to walk off our breakfast!
Location Breakfast Kind staff Good fast WiFi
slow elevators! small breakfast place a bit small rooms
Breakfasts very good; Happy Hour on Tue., Wed., & Thur. was a pleasant surprise and food very ample; Location perfect for theaters; All staff we dealt with were pleasant and helpful.
Business Center was completely inadequate. We did not travel with a laptop, iPad, etc and I am used to a hotel business center with better computers, etc. The 4 objects (I could not call them computers) on the counter in Biz. Center were awful. Lighting in room was not bright enough. Shower too small.
It is my second time to stay this hotel. I prefer this place cause it serves free breakfast and has simple kitchen facility. The facilities in general are fair compared with the price of Manhattan standard. Staffs are also pleasant and eager to assist, if we have request. Also the laundry room downstairs is big help for travelers.
There are constructions both sides of the building, which cause severe noise even early in the morning. The elevators are always busy and we need to wait for it at least 5 min. The location is quite convenient for everything, but due to Port authority the street is a bit dirty and crowded.
Location breakfast kitchen facilities room clean and big
wifi not stable heater doesn't work for the first 2 nights
Comfortble and clean
Close to Time square Beds are OK (pillows a bit big) Kitchen in the room (although we did not use it)
Only 3 small elevators for over 200 rooms (prepare to wait on the rush hours, or walk down the 32 stories). Breakfast included... if you can find a table to seat! Same problem as the elevator, wait too many people for the little lunch area. Quite a bad way to start the day. Although it says Parking, the parking area is actually 3 blocks away (43rd street, between 8th and 9th avenue)... not too practical nor nice when it rains. Small shower - impossible to turn the water on without either being in the shower (being soaked in cold water) or having the door opened (and having water sprayed all over the place).
The inclusion of breakfast which could be eaten in the Breakfast Room or could be selected and then taken back to one's own room. A good laundry on site.
Information re eating options around the area could have been more forthcoming.
Chaos at breakfast, no where to sit at peak times
The fact that the kitchenette is fully equipped with the necessary things to cook a decent meal and the bathroom is roomy and modern. The staff at the reception is resourceful and very helpful.
The breakfast room was packed with guests and you really had to make your way to get the food from the buffet. Maybe it was a more busy time than others ? The elevator took a long time to reach my floor to go down to the lobby !
Close to all major attractions walking distance from Times Square, across the street with Port Authority central bus station. Breakfast included. Room size is fair relative to other hotels at this price range. Very helpful staff: we arrived at 6:45 AM and get breakfast and luggage storage. Staff made an effort to give us the room by 10 AM. Definitely recommended hotel.
Do not expect too much from the breakfast menu. Other hotels at this price range do NOT include breakfast. It is like a "continental" breakfast and number of seats and tables are limited but there is an option to take to room or eat at one of the close places around. Poor Wi-Fi signal in room.
I stayed at the hotel for a mini break to New York with my teenage daughters. Check in was easy - they even brought up a gift and a card for my daughters birthday. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful and always greeted you with a smile. Good location - close to all the major tourist attractions. Very good value for money - a small friendly hotel, with good buffet style breakfast - it does get a little busy but the staff are always replenishing the food and clearing away dirty plates etc. I would recommend the hotel and would stay there again myself.
The price and quality
Checking in I was challenged about my credit card until I got a superior who rechecked and affirmed its coverage
The smell in the room when we arrived. The staff were quick to fix this. The wait for the lifts and the noise of the air conditioning.
I found the staff very useful and would go the extra mile to help you. The rooms are immaculately clean, and having the kitchen facilities are a bonus. Time Square about 10 minute walk situated really well, would definitely recommend.
The location, value, amenities and staff.
Good breakfast was included, but support staff could be more attentive and make an effort to keep it clean. Elevators can require a bit of a wait, sometimes five minutes or so during peak times.
