I was very peaceful and quite, the only problem was the fire alarm kept going off when we used the fire place, other then that this place is very tranquil and serene we had a very nice time... the waterfall's were very pretty... I would absolutely go back.
There was nothing not to like.....
For the cost per night I felty it should not have been my responsibility to bring the trash to the dumpster or be fined $75.00 dollars
The hosts were very helpful when we arrived and after that we were left in peace and privacy until we checked out. The log burning stove was effective and gave a beautiful flickering light.
The fridge and central heating were a little bit noisier than I would have liked, masking the silence outside at night.
Clean and well furnished cabins. Warm and cozy! Very private and nestled in the woods.. Friendly and helpful staff. Very close access to Smugglers Notch and good restaurants.
Wish the outdoor hot tub was functioning.
Paying extra for firewood in mid-winter. Slightly cold in the bedrooms.
I thought it was just a bit pricey, but we enjoyed our stay
Awesome rustic cabins have everything you need, wooded setting, calm peaceful and great access to Smuggs! Fireplace was such a treat and it was great we could bring our dog with us on vacation.
Would have loved a hot tub in the cabin! And this was a particularly cold week in Vermont so localized heat in the bedrooms would have also been nice. Spotty wifi wasn't really a big deal -- it was nice to have in such a remote location, and at no additional charge.
We spent a long weekend in a one room cabin. We just loved it. It was very clean and comfortable. We liked it enough that we booked another stay for summertime when we can do more hiking and bicycling !
Wonderful accommodations in a idyllic setting at the best time of the year! Couldn't have asked for a better palce to be. Definitely will be coming back again and again!
The cabin was comfortable and relaxing for an off campus 'parent's weekend' retreat for our daughter in college. The walking trails and pond were beautiful. The hot-tub was a plus. It was great that we could bring our dog too.
Everything was great.
We rented a one room cabin. The cabin had everything we needed. The gas fireplace was nice and heated up the room perfectly. The grounds are large and there is plenty of room to walk and enjoy the outdoors. There is also a pond big enough to canoe/kayak.
I had to leave.
Wonderful stay in a beautiful setting. Well appointed cottage with views at a pond. Friendly hosts make you feel welcome.
Loved the cabins and location.
Cabins could have been a little more private
