In the former Union Train Station, this hotel boasts a 19th century atmosphere and a lobby with Tiffany stained glass windows. The St. Louis Gateway Arch is less than one mile away.

The hotel was located next to Edward Jones dome which was where our event was held. Awesome staff and valet service. Great restaurants within a block.
We traveled with 2 small children for the Monster Jams. The staff was AMAZING from the minute we arrived. Going above and beyond even helping with the kids. The room was great for a small famil, it was like we were at home. The happy hour was a plus. Location, Location, Location! Walking distance to the Edward Jones Dome and Ball Field.
Didn't like that there wasn't a fan in the bathroom.
Everything except one item listed.
Living area Furniture uncomfortable. Housekeeping non-existent. We stayed 3 nights and housekeeping did not clean our room at all. We had to call the front desk to request clean towels after getting back to the room after long days out. Unacceptable esp considering the amount of money we spent on the room. Management was no help at all and unwilling to admit any fault.
The free breakfast was good. The location is great if you are attending any sporting events, which we were.
The parking was expensive at $27/day.
Made to order omelets, happy hour drinks and friendliness of hotel staff. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable beds.
Located near many pubs and restaurants. CLOSE walking distance for Rams game and easy walk to Cardinals field. Also an easy walk to the Arch.
Happy Hour consisted of Gold Fish crackers & some stale potato chips with dips along with some dip.
Room was excellent; very large. Morning breakfast was very good with delicious omelets, etc.
It was so easy to walk to all the local attractions from our hotel - we had a lovely meal at one of the restaurants at Laclede's Landing, which was about a 4 minute walk from our hotel.
We loved our stay at the St Louis Embassy downtown. The staff were welcoming, professional, friendly, helpful. The food was excellent. Our housekeeper left the room immaculate and was helpful when we asked for suggestions on additional places to eat. This will be our home away from home when we're in St Louis!
There are cheaper hotels that are decent in St. Louis. They have coffee but not espresso so if you need your espresso fix, robust connected to the lobby has it. There's a Starbucks in the Renaissance. Peat's coffee in the Luminere.
The rooms are spacious and have two televisions. The breakfast is great with made to order omelets-don't forget to tip (they are that good). Robust, takaya and Pi restaurants are all very close and have full bars, plus decent wine and beer selections.
Very friendly and helpful staff; clean room with large bathroom; very good breakfast
The wait to check in was over 25 minutes. It was a game weekend, but it was a bit extreme. The valet parking took almost 30 minutes at pickup to get our vehicle back. Pros outweigh the cons, but some improvement could be made.
We were given an even better rate at check in due to my husband's service. The check-in counter was extremely friendly and full of great information - even to a frequent ST Louis traveler. The rooms were very quite and great finishes.
Room had funny, chemically odor, but windows open a bit so that helped Hosted happy hour was OK, bartenders not very friendly
Right in the middle of everything Great staff Nice room Good room service menu
A long walk from Busch Stadium.
The Happy Hour prior to the Cardinals game was very good!
I didn't like the idea of having to pay for WiFi.
The room was spacious, quiet and very clean. The bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was really tasty as well. For the price, it was good.
No outlet by tv. Tried using the one behind tv stand but the whole thing fell off the wall!!! And the man who fixed acted like it was my fault the screws (which where only held by sheetrock) pulled out from the wall. REALLY!?!
The high ceilings
Pool small. Full of young children running from pool to hot tub. No towels at pool
Big spacious rooms full of comfort.
elevator <> room parking PRICE!!!!!!
Very nice staff and helpful. Nice facility! Had a great time.
The continental breakfast each day was a great deal, especially when traveling with kids. There was enough on the menu to please everyone and it saved a lot of time from traveling out to eat in the morning. The happy hour was great as well. Free drinks and snacks are always a plus.
price of over night parking.
over all a very pleasurable stay. staff helpful, breakfast buffet plentiful and well prepared.room very clean and comfortable.
Checked in Thursday. Room was not serviced on Friday. Vanity bowl water would hardly go out. I stopped down at the front desk Saturday morning to request that our room get serviced and to have someone chech the vanity drain. When wew returned to our room later, they responded and took care if both request. Whomever cleaned the rooms, did not replenish the small wash cloths.
The large rooms. The delicious breakfast. Close to stadiums. Very helpful Bell men. Staff very friendly.
Wish there was a balacony or deck to sit on just because I love to be outside. They have poor coffee in the room and at their breakfast bar. They also need to consider towel racks in the room. Very minor things I'd change.
Liked everything about it.
