Our room was freshly painted so looked spotless. All the rooms have a deck and chairs to look over the lovely property and river. Our dog was welcomed. The staff was very helpful and accommodating.
There was no wi fi in the room.
clerk was nice, he tried but he also apologized for the disasterous room
no a/c or fan cowbwebs and dead bugs all over door to outside did not lock no wifi in rooms no water pressure carpet was damp smelled horrible, musty and mildew Manager was rude and very tough looking.
Close to downtown.
television reception could/should be improved if possible
Nice property and grounds. The hot tub was nice. The rooms were clean and had okay decor.
Seemed dated, and the lobby smelled like musty pool air. The breakfast was limited and not varied.
Quiet and comfortable room; Very friendly staff; Nice basic breakfast included; Fantastic hot tub!
Indoor pool was NOT heated!! Yikes!
Hot pool, quiet place
The breakfest; no eggs, the fruits salad was terrible. The air conditionnair made a lot of noise and each time it woke us up. Old tv.
it was clean and not far from what we wanted to see and the price was great
Beautiful setting - great creek out back with green space for kids to run. Breakfast was decent, if a little sparse (only cereal/breads/hard boiled eggs/oatmeal).
Old carpet, sheets thin/stained/stamped with markings that looked like they may have been from a prison or something like it (?!), dated rooms and furnishings, in desperate need of updating, kind of a ghost town. This may have once been a bustling hotel, but it no longer is.
The view, the room was confortable and clean. the staff was great. I would have liked a little more variety for breakfast. muffins very very dry. good coffee. A little facelift and update and you are in heaven. thank you for a comfortable stay
The location is beautiful, with a huge lawn and a stream out back. the indoor pool and sauna were wonderful.
Brian, at the front desk was very very helpful to us and is a great representative for your company.
Couldn't figure out how to start the shower. The lady at the front desk was there immediately to help us.
nice river location,good breakfast
older motel,needs new flooring
I liked the staff and the room was efficient, clean and comfortable. They called a cab for us and were friendly and helpful.
We didn't get to use the hot tub or pool due to a fire alarm. I didn't know the buffet breakfast was and extra $10 (I would have brought cash for it) We were woken up very early before 6am by someone playing their radio extremely loud but had no one to talk to to fix it.
Hallway temperature (on way to first floor room had to be 100 degrees. This is a tired property.
Nice, clean and pleasant .
wifi connection did not work which was a very big problem for me.
Close to the mountain and town.
Location is great.
My room was in a high traffic hallway and it was pretty noisy in the early morning, which woke me up.
The hot tub, sauna & pool was awesome! the balcony outside was convenient
Brian! Free bars.
Had to pay for hot breakfast.
Staff very accommodating. Very good location.
Nothing. It's great for the price and very convenient to Mt. Mansfield.
- location - breakfast - hot tub
- Now seeing what is like, it is overpriced for the type of room we received - very small TV - no fridge in the room - Did not have milk options for people who are lactose intolerant
The staff were very friendly and accomodating.
Very old facility, the carpet is dirty and the bathroom fixtures really needs upgrading. You get what you paid for even then I think we paid a little too much for 1 night accommodation. Will not stay here again.
I liked the room we booked and ended up with. My daughter and grandsons loved the hottub and loved the room. They reminded me that it was a lodge and not a hotel.
We weren't given the room I booked until I specifically asked for it.
