Our bed was uncomfortable.

Everything, especially breakfast, was exceedingly overpriced.

Staff was organized, friendly and fast. Room was comfortable and had an amazing view. Love the dog-friendliness.

Although the hotel is ski trailside, I prefer to be closer to town. I felt isolated from the action way up there.

Pure luxury. Love the amenities, the food. It's very pricey, but worth it.

The price. No way around it and I'd do it again, but it's so pricey. And I don't like the dogs everywhere. Can't they isolate pets to a particular area?

The property is phenomenal and certainly met all my expectations. I was treated very kindly by the extremely friendly Front Office Manager, Cathryn, upon my arrival. The room-service staff, valet staff, as well as the rest of the staff members I encountered during my stay were very friendly and helpful. The location, options for travelers, and overall ambiance of the property exceed those of a similar lodge located in the west USA. Overall great stay!

Although I know the lodge has limited space, relying solely on valet service is somewhat costly and inconvenient for guests and/or conference attendees who may only be staying for a few hours. I would encourage the property (if possible) to purchase some general parking space in addition to the underground parking garage which I believe is only accessible to valet staff.

The rooms are big. The pool is nice. For skiing, the location is great.

Almost everything. We were upgraded to a bigger room, however it had 2 queen beds instead of one king bed, which is pretty much useless for a couple. The room had also no minibar, nor any mineral water in the room. At the time of check in, it was not possible to reserve for the restaurant because it was full. Which left us with room dining which is mediocre at most. At check out the room was charged again, although it has been already charged automatically a week before check in, if I would not have double checked my credit card regularly I would have ended up paying twice. The whole experience was just very unprofessional. For the price one of the worst hotels I've been!!

Location and luxury

The evening meal was appalling and I completed the comments form to this effect. The standard of the meal was totally substandard to that of the Stowe Mountain Lodge's other facilities.

Besides the location with its fantastic views and several ski lifts on the premises, the service at Stowe Mountain Lodge is outstanding. After booking.com made a reservation for the wrong type of room the manager offered with no hesitation to give us a complimentary upgrade to the room class that we actually had booked. Everyone in the hotel is extremely friendly and helpful. The pool is large, the rooms convenient, the food (especially breakfast) of high quality.

The hotel is lovely, spacious room, well appointed, very charming. Staff were accommodating and professional.

Room service menu needs to be updated, 1/2 of our selections were un available, making ordering difficult. We opted to eat at the bar one evening, and asked if we could eat from the dining room menu,as there was a large wedding party taking up most of the dining room. With some hesitation, they agreed. For the price paid, the food was debatable, the shrimp cocktail appeared to be shrimp pressed together in squares, flavourless, with tiny dabs of cocktail sauce on the side, more for presentation. The pork was very fatty, and dry, leaving a good portion inedible. For a $300 dinner, I would expect much better.

Great Structure. Quite expensive.

The cleaning of the room was very slow for a hotel like this. Sometimes we came back from our activities at 1 PM and the room was still as we had left in the morning.

On ne trouvait pas ma réservation. Sur le site de booking.com, il était indiqué qu'on allait avoir in mini bar dans la chambre sauf que cet hôtel n'a aucune chambre avec mini bar.

Fui a stowe con el fin de compararlo con el otro resort importante del estado...hay diferrencias .stowe es mas lujoso.Claro hay q e ntender al otro resort fuy siempre en invierno( KILLINGTON).Creo q ese pareciera tener un ambiente mas bullicioso y juvenil,mas alegre y mas economico,pero el hotel de stowe es mucho mas bello q cualquiera de la zona de 'Killington y pudiera solo ser comparable en parte con las cabañas de HAWK,aunq estan retiradas de la zona de ski.Mi duda es el ambiente de stowe village parece algo trste,no asi la zona de KILLINGTON....aun asi stowe mountain lodge es precioso

Le service, les gens du Vermont, impeccable! La vue sur le Mont Mansfield, imprenable. Tout était parfait.

The views were amazing and the hotel staff were very friendly.

I didn't like how not soundproof the rooms were. You could hear the doors in halls slam and even hear the neighbors getting some extra exercise at 530 am. Not good at all. Also the restaurant food was very limited and pricey. And the pool was filled with out of control children. Not a recommended vacation for a couple looking for peace and quiet.

valet parking was inconsistent, had to call twice to get luggage to room when initally checked in. Waited 30 minutes for car one time.

Bella la struttura e ottima pulizia

Un albergo di questo tipo,anche non nel pieno delle stagione,dovrebbe cercare di tenere aperti entrambi i ristoranti.

although the resort is wonderful, the cost would keep me from staying there as much as I would like to

The views were excellent and the staff very accommodating and friendly. Definitely worth the $$. Though it is pricey, you do get what you pay for - amazing views, great service, and luxury surroundings. And I love that they allow pets (though I can see others not being a fan).

I have no con's other than the cost - I'd definitely go again (or recommend it to a friend), but I'd have to work up to it. Or, you know, win the lottery.
