How high my room was. It was kinda far from the strip.
Places to eat inside the hotel
Not keen on the options for breakfast
Buffet was superb , Tower fantastic views , rooms clean and comfortable , great wifi.
no smoking facility in room
At the very end of the Strip. The bar and restaurant at the top of the towel are astronomically expensive, but I guess that is to be expected.
Free access to the tower is what makes staying at this hotel worthwhile.
As we arrived they told us our Strip View room had no double beds rooms, that the option was just "if possible"... That's not even proper from a hostel. So they told us they would "upgrade" us to a Select room, without Strip View, but remodeled furniture. When I checked online, the Select rooms were on sale and were cheaper than the room I originally booked, so we were actually "downgraded" for accepting their trade (after all it's a casino, I guess that was my gamble). All this was very disappointing especially when it happens right on arrival.
Tower is great, you get access to it, which has fantastic views, and they gave us a coupon for half price when getting the "all rides" ticket. We were aware of the fact that it was far from the strip, but if you get the bus day-pass (which also works great to move among the casinos), the distance didn't seem an issue to us.
wifi hard to get onto, long wait to book in
bus outside door, easy access to rest of strip
Dining and shopping choices
Some line to checa in and out
Spa ilusa Room and bathroom
Very weak wifi signal & cigarette smoke that lingers the entire ground floor going past thru elevators. They need to improve on how to eliminate cigarette smoke. There are hotels around who are good at it.
Extra night charged after checked out. Inadmisible. We are heading there now to require explanations since we were staying in a different hotel
The tower entrance for free
Cigarette smoke was everywhere.
The staff was really accommodating.
The AC not cold at all
To see the sky jumping
Crowded, noisy, room wasn't the cleanest, expensive for what you get
Beds were great
Shower head was broke and did not get a proper shower for the money it would be worth paying extra for a Better hotel. Will never stay here again and would tell friends not to
The tower entry for free was the only cool thing about the place
Had trouble with our reservation at check in, even though had multiple calls trying to clear up an issue prior to arrival. With a show of an email, everything was resolved in a few moments. Check in took a long time, and was the one negative experience of the trip.
We wanted to explore both the Strip and the old downtown/Fremont area, and the Strat is great for that. The select, remodeled room met our needs. The choices of food and activities onsite were excellent.
construction noise from 8am till 7pm - just horrible... (our room was on 23th floor and works on 24th...)
free admission to tower - great view
The electricity in the bathroom and vanity area was not working, either were most of the outlets. We were not able to charge our phones and laptops.
The food at Roxy's Diner was pretty good
Have stayed in two different room, both had disgusting stains on the carpet, corridors were dirty and unvacuumed. Rooms looked nothing like the pictures, staff blamed booking.com for false advertisement and claimed there is nothing they can do. Big disappointment, as we could have definitely found something better within the price range.
Free entrance to the tower with room booking.
The pool is great
Halls smells cigarette
Great place to stay and to play with radical toys. But it's the last hotel in las Vegas strip, so you must drive a lot to do anything.
People Smoking in casino but I think every casino is like that.
Our lamps by our beds stopped working after one night, and the outlets wouldn't work either
This was our second stay at the Stratosphere. Although it is not conveniently located as it is at the end of the strip, the only reason we went back was for the rides. However although we bought the unlimited rides package, they closed the rides in the evening due to the winds. They didn't offer a refund
