The price for the room. There was a soccer tournament in town so the price was too high for the room itself.

I came in early and my room was ready hours before check-in, which I really appreciated. The room was clean, and a little more upscale than I expected from a place called "Stumptown". That said, there were a few minor issues. Price was good for an end-of-season weekend.

It's not the Hampton or LaQuinta, although the price is about comparable. Fridge but no microwave; no iron or ironing board.

Enjoyed the simple yet clean rooms. Downtown was within walking distance and a beautiful river to fish in adjacent to the Inn.

My Hubby wished there was milk available at the continental breakfast. I wished for a hot tub but I always do no matter where I am. :)

We appreciated that a room was available on short notice. we were there for a funeral of a family member so it was an emotional time . the room was clean and the girl at the front desk when we checked in was very nice and since my husband and I are senior citizens she apologized for us having to climb the stairs to our room. I appreciated the show of concern.

We spent most of the night listening to the man in the next room snore. There is obviously no insulation in the walls between the rooms. I realize that Whitefish is a tourist town but really felt the $150.00 we had to pay was too much. Like I said we were there for a family members funeral so appreciated finding a room at all.

The location was the best part of the Stumptown Inn.

There was no Wi-Fi the first day and night. When we asked about it, the person at the desk had no idea why it wasn't working. On the second day, they were able to get it up and running, but the desk person should have known what was going on. The bathroom was not cleaned properly any of the three days we were there. There was no refrigerator so we could not keep water or anything cold. There was some kind of fight on the first night we were there around 1:00 a.m. One person was running down the hall screaming obscenities and woke us up. Definitely would not stay here again.

I made a last minute reservation for a second day. We ended up not staying, but had to pay because of their 48-hour cancellation policy. I was not informed of the cancellation policy, and the reservation was for less than 48-hours from the time I made the reservation. They were practically empty because the hotel is not that great, so this is probably how they make their money.

    Not much

Noise created by people moving about and above us. Floors creaked and walls leaked noise. Building needs to be demolished or major repair.

    Loved the town!!

The breakfast was pitiful. I have never seen a worst continental breakfast. We heard people above us from 1:30 to 3:30 am!! We will not be back there.

The two queen size beds in the room and the central location near downtown.

The "Continental Breakfast" was a bit too frugal for $130/night. Some fresh fruit could be a great addition.

    Nothing

No internet connection with 2 new pc'S. Manager argued when customer complained of no internet connection. Mgr. And employees need retraining in customer relations. Also, walls very thin....lots of noise and so very little sleep. Not worth the price paid. The place is a dump...
