The view was amazing, it was do nice to sit and drink my morning coffe watching the sun rise!
Steps from Venice Beach. Great restaurant. Nice room with great patio.
Next to Phoenix House.
I liked that I could watch "all the action & people" at Venice Beach, from the comfort of my room. I also liked the convenience of the restaurant downstairs, and the great 1/2 price breakfast deal!! -- The staff was VERY helpful & courteous!!
Staff, from the wonderfully hospitable Matt at reception when we arrived, to all the others who answered our questions, helped us find what we needed and generally made us welcome. The view from our balcony was spectacular.
Would have liked the main bedroom/bathroom to be separate from the kitchen - small point. Had to keep the windows closed because of traffic noise from the nearby 101. Air conditioning would have been appreciated, but not too bad as it was not a hot night.
The location and size of the cottage was perfect for our bachelorette party weekend. While there were a few downfalls for this place it was a reasonable and safe place to stay.
The cottage could have used a deeper clean, especially the floors. The kitchen needed some maintenance, the stove barely worked. The Phoenix House across the alley was a bit creepy for a group of girls.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Especially Fernando M. helpt us a lot after our flights home were canceled! Thanks again! We had a nice Rom with Ocean view.
Great location on the beach front, nice and helpful staff
Not much of night life around that is suitable for children
The location goes without saying. But the price was less than others around, and we toured the other places and Su Casa was better on all accounts (cleanliness, staff, accommodations...)
There is not one bad thing I could say about Su Casa
Location was great for people watching and close to everything Venice
Parking is abit of a challenge
Nice staff - Nice ocean view
- Awesome position - Ocean view - Very supportive staff
- The building has just two floors but there is no elevator; if you have heavy luggages in a bit cumbersome - I found a mouse in my apartment but the staff changed my room the day after - The first room was noisy. Try to avoid rooms with windows on the structure entrance's side
Had an ocean view which was perfect even thought only for a couple of days
Proximity to the beach. Wifi Most staff friendly Were moved for our last night to room actually in hotel- this was good size and comfortable but VERY noisy.
One member of staff extremely rude and condescending (blonde man). Given a room not even in the hotel, down the trash exit and below ground level. Loud, portable air con unit needing window constantly open. Not good when next door to correctional facility. When toilet flushed whole room stank off sewage. Cockroachs.
I just had a really good, comfortable time at Su Casa. The staff was very kind and the manager Kyle went above and beyond when I told him it was my birthday gift to myself, I was more than happy and surprise at the size of the living space. The restaurant was good, Will be back SOON:-)friendly and affordable. Nice Venice Beach experience:-)
I had to leave:-)
Good location on Venice Beach. Discount for breakfast next door. Helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Powerful shower. Comfortable bed.
See through blind - bring an eye mask if you want to sleep late! We didn't cook in the room but if you plan to then maybe don't book a studio as you would have to eat on the bed!
Loved the fact that it was right in front of the ocean and located literally right on the boardwalk. You could locate the rental places for bikes, longboards, surfboards, etc. very easily. Breakfast is right downstairs and you get a 50% discount. All we had to do was walk down the steps and the sand was a few feet ahead.
There was a rehabilitation center for what seemed to be ex gang members and convicts right next to the hotel which would compromise the security of families traveling with children. The neighborhood was very lonely right behind the hotel and dozens of homeless people a day would lounge around the boardwalk during the day. But after a certain time, 8pm or so, they would all be gone as police cars would drive by and clear out the boardwalk.
Great location, not dodgy at all. This is the place to be in L.A. Parking is less than a minute away and on the boardwalk. It cost 25dollars for 24hours which you can buy at the hotel and its the same price for everyone. Get a convertible from LAX, its wort it! Dont forget your swimmingtrunks=).
Location Size of suite Great cafe/restaurant directly below Cost for location
Booking process was a little 'muddled' No aircon in main bedroom (only living area) Lack of equipment in otherwise good kitchen
Great location on the boardwalk across from beach. Nice modern comfortable fitout. Great restaurant downstairs and half price breakfast
Hard to find, signage hidden on a busy day by restaurant below
Great Location Rooms large and great views Staff very friendly Nothing was a problem
noise at night kept me up
The staff is friendly and always ready to meet the needs of its visitors. Room overlooked the boardwalk and ocean. Crazy fun! There are lots of homeless so we fed them, spoke to them and got to know them just a little.
The idiot that blocked us in and it took us an hour to get out by jacking up the car and pushing it over. Hotel manager Kyle, friendly at 5am, tried to get ahold of occupants to locate the owner to no avail. Homeless were more courteous then those with money. Imagine that! Bobby Farnsworth, living on the street helped us in getting out.
Super friendly and helpful staff; very spacious studio unit. Beautiful views, right on Venice and close to Santa Monica.
Blinds wouldn't close in room 7, need to be replaced. Next to rehab facility, but still felt pretty safe.
Pleasant welcome, you're direct to the beach, 50%discounted breakfast from the Resturant below
No sign with the hotel name show you that this is your hotel, sometimes you don't find any one at the reception
