room in high traffic area
Good room, nice continental breakfast, helpful staff.
A bit pricy
close to the metro
Rooms too noisy, I can hear other rooms, smell to smoke and even to marijuana in rooms for not smoking.
I liked the price and the room was ok.
The room was a little too dusty the corner looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months. I didn't have a chair in my room for the desk so there was no where to sit but the bed.
The hotel proximity to the place I was conducting business
Limited parking space
Good location - M, L & F subway lines nearby Rooms are clean There is an IHOP & comfort store nearby
Asked for quiet room on booking - got room just in front of elevator; asked to be transferred - but it was impossible because other rooms (available) were not serviced Breakfast will work for you if unpretentious, really unpretentious Wifi is really slow
Clean, comfortable, affordable, no frills, close to subway. Great for an inexpensive weekend stay.
Close to subway Decent sized room with nice bathroom good shower hot water Room was clean.
Breakfast was good but not a big enough area for everyone to sit, area was full at all times.
It was close to J & z lines on subway. Breakfast okay. Hotel clean and rooms good
When we got home noticed extra charge of $40 and they have not answered email to give explanation of cost. One of our rooms was non smoking but smelt of cigarette smoke. They were helpful and changed the room.
The room was spacious.
The breakfast could be better, but since what they had was free, its ok i guess. The temperature control wasnt the best.
We had to ask for house keeping the first day. The breakfast they serve could be better for the cost of the hotel.
Very good value. Close to several trains to Manhattan.
Doors seems to have no sound proofing so conversations travel from other rooms.
My 82 year old parents stayed here for 3 nights during their grandson's wedding. The staff was incredibly accommodating and attentive to their needs during their stay. My mother is still talking about "the lovely, kind lady in the breakfast room" who helped her navigate the waffle maker and made sure they found items that accommodated my father's dietary restrictions. While not fancy, if you're looking for a safe, clean, affordable hotel with lovely staff, this is the place. For those utilizing public transit, there is a train stop adjacent that would be very convenient.
The room was simple, yet spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was a great size. Located within 200m from the subway line, so it was convenient to travel into the city.
Shower is big
Heat was broken all night during the Winter
I liked the hotel staff they were very nice & helpful. The night shift worker even printed out an important email for me.
I did not like that there was NO where to park. We drove around for about 25mins before we found the tightest parking on the street behind the building
The room was on the first floor so that made it very difficult to get good sleep. Too much activity.
The breakfast was the only he decent thing about this place
This hotel is in a really bad area of Brooklyn and it's not cheap. I was ordered - yes ordered to pay $150 deposit even though I was only staying one night. There was no mention of this when I was booking the room on the website!! There was a dirty tissue in the hotel TV guide and mould in the shower. The air conditioning/heating had one level only so it was either full blast or off. When it was on it was really noisy and the curtains blew open. There were no blinds so everyone could see right into the room. I decided to turn it off and ask for a blanket but I was told they didn't have any blankets and they didn't have any spare duvets!!!!!! So it was a freezing night in a hotel where the walls were so thin I could hear the person next door going to the bathroom and the televisions were so loud on both sides I got no sleep at all. On top of that every time the lift stopped on a floor it beeped but it was so loud it was ridiculous. This place is a total nightmare and if you are still thinking of staying here after reading this I suggest you take a taxi it really is not a good area to be walking around with a suitcase!!!
The room was the perfect size for the money The room was clean
The staff saw where my car was parked, they told me it was correct and I ended up with a ticket.
bad experience this time. The staff make the mistake,Not flexible, when we back they put our staff to the luggage warehouse.Cause I have two booking and different kind of room. The manager has no any apologize about this.
The location was good for my purposes. The building seemed secure and tidy. The room was relatively new. The price was excellent for a NYC hotel.
I did not participate in the complimentary breakfast. It was not appealing or appetizing. The orange juice was watered down.
Lighting in bathroom poor, needed dusting very badly.
