This hotel seemed to be in better shape then most buildings in the area.
Walls are paper thin and the breakfast had NO butter for toast, bagels or waffles.
pleasant staff & helpful. Quiet room, good facilities.
Breakfast not always available-had to ask for replenishing food etc.
The lady with glasses was with an attitude didn't wanna bring clean towels look out for her guys
Releatively cheap Clean Right near the subway
Surrounding neighboord is a tad sketchy.
All was nice
Convenience to trains and stores.
Outsiders coming in for coffee or restroom use all kinds of hours.
quite place near subway
Hotel was great, cheap as,stayed for 4 nights, all conveniences around and subway 80m away to go to Manhatten. Clean & breakfast great
Probably not a good area to walk at night especially if your a couple/family/elderly. Day time no problem
The room was very comfortable and clean!
The personal was not very nice at the front disk and they had a very bad communication! I had to pay twice abd I haven't seen my money yet! Be careful!
Bed was comfortable, rooms good size, bathroom good size and clean, responded pretty quickly to maintenance issues, safe in room and the area wasn't that bad and internet service was very good.
Front desk was not that friendly or inviting but they did respond to request, train is very close to hotel but if u travel late at night the j and m train are terrible, breakfast was ok but bananas were rotten and ac was ok but not as cold as I like and wish they had a TV guide for the cable channels
It's closed to the subway but you have to be lucky enough to have the M train running both ways before you call it a plus.
small lobby, small breakfast room, fridge in the room is loud, people yelling at each other at the front desk, rooms are not clean properly, the sorrounding area is ugly, there are always issues with the subway coming back from Manhattan in always a pain.
Better standard than expected
Far from manhattan but convenient to travel by train
Great location near transportation
Very loud due to traffic goin bye
Very Clean Easy to travel Very quiet
100 meters from the subway and the supermarket comfortable, quiet and clean bedroom
Decent hotel to stay one night. The rooms were fine.
Very bad Location and the bulletproof reception area is not a pleasant welcome. The receptionist working behind the bulletproof window could have at the least said hello or had a little more friendly customer service.
My room on the 7th fl
Book a room for 2 nights July 23& 24 left for work at 5:30am. I arrive back from work at 4:15 pm the room hasn't been cleaned at all complained at the front desk had the nerve ask me switch room told them no I paid for 2 nights and rhe room should have been cleaned on my arrival back. Whistling of service is that I feel I should have been giving a fee stay for the inconvenience. It will be a while before I come back. My last 2 stays was not good. Charge me twice the last time toilet wasn't working. This need to stop or you will lose a good customer. I stay at the hotel at least 3 times a month and would like to continue to do so.
Modern, Clean, Good Management
Breakfast is good and convenient, but needs better coffee and tea more fresh fruit and breads.
The front desk woman went out of her way to help us, when management via telephone wanted to leave us without a room, far away from home. Mind you, we already paid for the room weeks ago!
We paid for the room weeks ago, so, while traveling to New York ,we left all cards at home for safety. The manager insisted top babe the credit card used for the booking. My I.D and statement showing proof of payment both were not enough for her! She refused our stay!
The new showers.
The curtain smelled like mildew. And room service was loud blasting music in the hallway early in the morning. Also asked for recites and staff told me that they don't keep records. I will be contacting the better business authorities.
The location and it's clean
The staff is not customer service the need to improve on people skills
Convenient location for where we were.
Staff seemed lacking of customer service. Arrived and the room wasn't clean. No parking.
Nothing smelled like weed
Everything felt like an motel 6
The staff was friendly and the hotel was not that bad. It just needs a few updates. The furniture was very old and shabby needed to be replaced.
I didn't like the fact that you could hear every sound out in the hallway and people coming in and out and all kinds of noise was going on in the middle of the night. And I also didn't like the area in the daytime it was okay but in the evening you wouldn't feel safe at all walking outside.
I liked that it is in a great location. Very close to shopping and public transportation. Easy access to the City and hospitals nearby.
The first thing we noticed once we walked off the elevator was the smell, never failed you smelled weed and something else mixed with weed everytime. Then we look around to find our rooms and notice that the hallways aren't exactly spotless. I walk into my room and quickly decide to go to the nearby pharmacy and buy some Glade plug ins for our rooms. I go into the bathroom and find an empty condom wrapper behind the door, after further examination I find mold in the shower and bathroom fans are full of dust and I find that the room has not been dusted or vaccumed in at least a month, there was so much dust and crumbs on the floor. So, I clean and dust myself ovbiously the person cleaning doesn't know how to do it. About 3 days into our stay we decide to let them come in and clean. When we come back to our rooms we noticed all they did was make our beds with the same sheets with holes and the towels that where on the floor meant for them to replace with clean ones where nicely folded and placed on the towel rack, DISGUSTING! The hotel has potentional but the cleaning staff and Management are NOT DOING THEIR JOBS! After 6 days we decided to go to a nearby Holiday Inn Express on Maspeth for the same price.
