Very nice cabins, well equipped
Cabin could be more conveniently located...... nearer to office and Dining would be nice.
The cabin was very cozy and clean, the staff was so friendly and helpful and we loved eating at the restaurant--loved going for breakfast the best
I didnt like having to leave!
Location, the lake and the cabins. Localização, o lago e as cabanas.
Big bed, pretty setting, great breakfast included with room. Reasonable price compared to all other places we stayed in Alaska.
Room was small, & could hear between walls.
We loved, Summit Lake Lodge, sadly we only stayed one night but would have loved to stay longer. We had a cabin rather than a lodge room and it was a good choice as cabin was fantastic - very spacious and beautifully furnished and equipped. We had dinner in the restaurant and that was excellent with great menu and wonderful serving staff. Breakfast in the morning was very good too - wide choice and the best blueberry pancakes we have ever had in States! Mountain views from lodge and cabins are wonderful - a truly great place to stay.
Nothing - just wished we could have stayed longer!
We stayed one night in a clean and spacious cabin at this place as we drove to Anchorage from Seward. It is right on the highway and easy to find in the night. They also have a small lodge but we did not check it out. A full service dining facility is attached to the lodge but a separate espresso place is available for coffee and snacks as well. Obviously there is the namesake lake but we did not explore it a lot. Definitely recommend it if you are driving through that area.
Our stay was very comfortable. We needed nothing. Breakfast was so yummy and more than enought. We also had dinner and it was the same, wonderful. Very scenic views of mountains all around. We were treated like family. We will stay again when we travel back to Alaska. Thank you summit lake.
The food is always great, service was less friendly and personal than my last 10 visits. Unfortunately my build up of the place didn't match what my friends experienced this time around.
Didn't like the closed in feeling of the motel room, first time in them, usually we do the cabins. Staff was less friendly than usual and seemed rushed this time.
It was a beautiful setting, the cabins were clean and comfortable. No phones or TV, but it was not missed. The staff was wonderful and the food was tasty. We had a great time.
The cabin bathrooms were fabulous and the room size great...
My stay in the motel rooms was less good....a little cramped and less worth the money
staff friendliness and willingness to help cleanliness of rooms good food
The staff was very nice and helpful. The restaurant was very good. Absolutely beautiful location.
The room was small. It is right off the main road, so even though there's not a lot of traffic, you can hear it.
Really friendly staff. Like us, the young employees are hiking enthusiasts and knew the good trails well. The food was good. The owner served us coffee, chatted with us and seemed like a really nice guy. There were canoe and rowboats available free on the pretty lake.
The room was a little small. But it was clean and comfortable. The bed was a little too soft, but we still slept well. The wi-fi Internet connection, available in the comfortable lobby, was slow, but that's what you'd expect in this rather remote location.
WE loved everything. The staff was great! Friendly! We are already planning to go back
The rustic look of the cabin, the restaurant and pizza shop.
everything was simply perfect.we could not expect something better than this lodge!!!
The place is really nice and the free breakfast is really good.
Rooms pretty small and if you stay in one of the closest to the road you'll find it really noicy
Good location between Anchorage and Seward. Comfortable beds, nice big TV, included breakfast is very good with several choices on the menu. Property is in good condition. It's handy to have the restaurant, an the pizza, coffee bar on premises.
Cabins are close together and have no view except road and staff cabin. There is no parking near cabins, so in the rain you have to carry your suitcases to and from the parking area. Although they are fairly new, neither the toilet nor shower room door would close. Bathroom tile floors get very cold and develop condensation, making them extremely slippery. No mini-fridge, microwave, or Wi-Fi in cabin.
I loved everything! Every detail in the cabin showed that the owners and staff really care and take pride in this property and for those they want to stay and come back! The room was beautifully done. It was exactly what you would want a cabin to look like from the beds, down to the light fixtures. The shower was amazing my husband didn't want to get out with the pebble stone flooring to the window it made the outdoors feel like it was inside. The food was very good in the restaurant. The property was beautiful and very well kept. I really can't say enough about our stay I wish we had been able to stay longer!
We really loved the rustic nature of the facility that served very high quality food. It was a very friendly place, and we would love to go back and stay longer.
Would prefer a larger bed.
Nice bathroom and good location.
The shower head was to high.
Loved the cute room! Bed was comfortable and accommodations were great! Breakfast was exceptional!
On our trip back form Homer to Anchorage, Summit Lake Lodge provided the perfect place to break up the driving distance. Nestled with the lake nearby, the setting was beautiful and the lodge had everything you needed on site- an excellent dining facility as well as an express bar/grill as another option. All staff were friendly and courteous and the accommodations were nice, clean and comfortable!
Wonderful cabin with comfy bed and gorgous bathrooms. The breakfast was yummy and the views are breathtaking. We only stayed one night but would have loved to stay two! :)
