+ Nice staff on front desk + Good neighbourhood and location
- Small rooms - Nasty bathrooms - Linens looks dirty - Bad smells - I think, they are overpriced for this hostel
Location of the hotel is actually close to the main attractions in New York City.
Rooms include only bed and a little bit empty space. I mean, it is enough only for your luggage. YOU CAN NOT EVEN WALK IN THE ROOM. That was the worst part of my new york trip. This hostel don't deserve even single penny.
Facility Environment Price
Cheap Location is good
Bathrooms are awful No WIFI connection Working staff were unfriendly
smooth, no other extra fee and regulation
bathroom can be sometimes ugly.
The shower door was loose and nearly fell and broke. I had to hold it and stick it back in the shower frame.
price is good
filthy bathrooms, horrible smells, shady tenants.
bathroom stinks, no wi-fi in the rooms, noisy with no privacy and impossible to get some sleep.
Really nothing! Never again! Even not for backpackers!! Really dont go there its no fun at all!!!! Even if you wanna rough it, just DONT!
Ok, where to start with, actually sad to say there is absolutely nothing good about this hotel, if you can even call it "hotel". 1. The people who run this hotel are very unfriendly. 2. The book your credit card right away and wont give you money back. You havent even seen the rooms yet. If you had, you would not have given them your credit card and you need to fight back the money. The guy next door did that as he just arrived and has seen the room. 3. The rooms are small if you are at the 5th floor. 2-4th floors are for resident people who work in china town. They live there almost as refugees, the toilet is in a state you would call disastrously grose! The rooms on the 5th floor have however an open ceiling with a fence, so everybody hears everybody and it is noise as hell during night. sleeping is for professionals ;-) 4. The matresses HAVE BEDBUGS!, I got bitten several times. My neighbor too. He complaint, they know about nothing at the reception!! 5. The toilets on the 5th floor are in a state which is really grose to use. Full floor was covered every day in the evening with water and dirt, water dripped from the ceiling and so on... The list is longer but i stopped here!
I felt safe and comfortable at the hotel at all times
The bathrooms!! Water was leaking into the hallways
Everything... Starting with the dog size bed bugs!!!
Don't be reeled in by the price, this place looks like a prison, literally
Best location, located in Chinatown!
A bit of expensive, no air-conditioned
Nothing, seriously nothing
This is my first time ever write something for reviewing or anything. Living in Sun Bright hotel was a horrible experience. I booked for 4 days initially. They gave me a room in the fifth floor. First of all, the room is smaller that a bathroom in any American Family. The bed is a little over a half of the a twin size bed and I can't even put my luggage in the room. Secondly, the top of the room is cover by iron wires. Seriously, iron wires. You can hear everything of what next door say. Don't even try to think of trying to sleep. Thirdly, the shared bathroom is super stink and it doesn't offer hot water!!!!!! How can I take a shower then!!!! I asked them to move me into the first floor which is a little better. I thought I could live for the rest 3 nights. However, they are replacing their tub in the bathroom. The next morning at 7 A.M., the construct worker starts to replace the tub. Since they need to destroy the old tub and replace a new one, the noise is extremely big. Even though I didn't live close to the bathroom, I was waked up by the construction!!!! I couldn't bear the lousy room and decide to ask for refund and book another hotel. But they told me they can refund me. I really can not bear the condition book another hotel immediately even though I can't get the refund. My sincerely advice, do not go there!!!!
Yes, it's on Manhattan
Everything else, stay away from this place!
Neighbors room too close. No ceiling on rooms so hear noisy or snoring neighbors.
Location: walking distance from subway, markets, fastfood and fancy restaurants.
Rooms too small, and with roaches Air conditioning too noisy.
The wifi is only available in the reception area - not in the rooms and the staff was most unfriendly
This place was a nightmare.... the room was four feet wide the bed being about thirty inches wide... no sink... no ceiling.... I could hear every breath and fart from the people next to me.... wont even get into the bathrooms.... by FAR the most disgusting place ive ever seen....
I had been trying cancel my booking but they didn't do it.
Service . My money has waste
*I chose an all male dorm online & wasn't allowed to use that room so had to upgrade to a single room, the price increased but they gave me a discount! Awww nice :) *Strong wifi *Helpful & patient staff
The stairs The lack of bathrooms (sharing 3 between a whole floor of people is not enough)
Very good location Good security (regardless of appearance) Friendly staff
Room is extremely small with short walls You can always hear your neighbors Wi-fi is extremely unstable (I lived on 5th floor) No facilities (fridge, water-heater, etc.) Air conditioning is unstable; very hot around 7 to 10pm but can get really cold around 3 - 5am.
