Sunset Marquis Hotel    

Room was great, staff very friendly and obliging, particularly Hernaz(?).

Pool bar wasn't open both days of our stay. Thought breakfast was a bit expensive.

The garden, the restaurant. The style of the rooms. I recommend it but not the rooms with swimming pool view.

Big noise due to the ventilation of the swimming pool. Better not to look on the swimming pool. Impossibility to get the wifi in the room.

Everything. Staff, rooms, restaurant, athmosphere ...

My favorite hotel in the U.S. A bit aged already, but the vibe is unbeatable, the staff most friendly.

The classic feel of a exclusive Sunset Blvd hotel.

Location: excellent, in West Hollywood, convenient for restaurants, Beverly Hills, Hollywood/ Sunset boulevards, Santa Monica Rooms: spacious, with super-comfy beds, well-stocked minibar, fridge Amenities: swimming pool (though not too big) with a very nice deck/ area around; tropical garden Restaurants/ bars: restaurant is excellent (though a bit over-priced) - great choice of buffet/ a la carte for breakfast; trendy bar, though its reputation to be a celebrities magnet is overclaimed Staff: very friendly, helpful and welcoming Mood: cool, relaxed and unpretentious

Avoid rooms on the 2nd floor (eg 233) - instead of swimming pool views you may get a view over relatively dusty marquee.

The hotel is a pretty little (five acres, though) thing, nestled just off Sunset. The boutique style makes a very pleasant change from the stereotypical chain style, with each of the rooms different and full of character. We were upgraded (foc) to an enormous two-bedroomed suite which was soooooooo spacious. Big bedrooms, plush bathrooms and the most enormous lounge which had all the home comforts. It even had a piano, which suited our 16 year old to a tee. Plenty of room around the pool, too; even though the pools are not that big. There are some great restaurants nearby, too - Chinese, French an excellent Italian and loads of fast food. I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers.

A bunch of extremely noisy cackling women rented the suite immediately below us for the weekend and they were loud. Unbearable...and typically Californian (if I hear "Oh my god" and "...like...like...like..." Again, I may consider self termination.

Location is key, so close to everything I needed/wanted to do over my stay. The room was like a one bedroom apartment so felt very comfortable and spacious. Was nice to relax on the sofa or in bed and have a tv to watch. The outdoor bar was exceptional and the car service always prompt and beyond courteous.

You could hear the shower/toilet from the neighbouring rooms. Only an issue on the Friday morning, nothing to report on Saturday as I assume everyone else was sleeping late like me.

We were celebrating our anniversary in Hollywood. This hotel was perfect-so clean and classy. Upon arrival, we were uprgaded to a suite for our anniversary. When we entered our room we found complimentary champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and grapes. What a special treat! They couldn't have treated us better.

il s'agit d'une perpendiculaire au boulevard Sunset, très calme et à deux pas de lieux mythiques où boire un verre, assister à des concerts, etc. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Le petit déjeuner dans le patio du jardin exotique est un plaisir (mais pas donné!).

Evitez les chambres autour de la piscine, un peu trop bruyante d'après certains clients. Les prix sont à la mesure du lieu, élevés!

В части здания шли шумные ремонтные работы, отдохнуть в этом отеле было невозможно. Необходимо предупреждать на сайте о том, что часть отеля находится в стадии реконструкции!!!!!

Wie immer kann ich die Höchstpunktezahl vergeben .... Extrem freundliche Mitarbeiter, perfekter Service, riesige Zimmer, gepflegte Pools, Top- Lage ... und dabei totale stille in der Nacht. Die besten Hotel-BETTEN, die ich kenne.

Ich hatte diesmal eines der noch nicht renovierten Zimmer. Die wirken schon etwas "in die Jahre gekommen" - sind aber dennoch penibel sauber. Die Gänge der Hotels geben einen falschen ersten Eindruck. Teppiche und Tapeten sind wahrscheinlich noch aus den 70-ern und wirken 'schmuddelig' - das Gegenteil dessen, was mir am Sunset Marquis immer wieder imponiert: Extreme Sauberkeit ! Tip: Unbedingt mal ins Hotelrestaurant essen gehen ...

It is a lovely, elegant and quiet hotel. The staff was superb.

Pleasantly surprised about kid friendliness of the hotel. Kids Rock club is very unique and was a huge hit. Concierge assistance was outstanding.

Breakfast was not the best. Food and drinks overpriced for quality.

Le personnel compétent à la conciergerie

Aucun "plan" de l'hôtel n'a été donné à l'arrivée et aucun panneau donc pour trouver le Spa et Restaurant il a fallu chercher. Le rapport qualité/prix de notre chambre: la tapisserie se décollait derrière les rideaux, quelques traces de moisissure sur le joint de la baignoire et puis la vue du balcon: au dessus du parking (va-et-vient...), vue sur un tas de terre abandonné et avec un sacré vis à vis!

Great room, really spacious and newly renovated. Luxury bathrobes and bathroom lotions.

Just would like to have coffee making facilites in the room. Our room looked out directly into next door apartment.
