Being by the pool, the pool, the shower, pretty surroundings, the bed, seeing ppl I knew there, nice areas to socialize.
Having to pay for wifi, parking, tv film not working, solutions taking a while, bad wine for my friend, bad service of room service when we ordered drinks at the pool, my friends coffee was burnt, I didn't get what I asked for.
Great atmosphere, great interiors, large room and huge bathroom, wonderful restaurant in the garden, cool place to hang out
Hrm... with dinner, parking and breakfast added it got a bit expensive...
Concierge Carla was the best, I so like the evening pool view with the romantic candles.
No free Wi fi
The Location The beds were so comfortable Excellent restaurant Excellent staff
Housekeeper didn't stop knocking the door for tips!!!!!! And when you ignore the door she let's herself in which could be very embarrassing for guests, so you have to 'lock' the door behind you. Also having to pay for wi fi - But everything else was fantastic.
A very special place with an incredible history. The hotel is a Hollywood oasis. The grounds are gorgeous and our suite was lavish. The wait staff could not have been more helpful and gracious. We entertained guests twice and both times our friends/family raved.
The place is expensive enough so I was a bit put out when I found out I had to spend $34 a night extra for parking and $12 per day for internet service.
Nice room, nice breakfast. We had a good time here. Bartender Angel was a plus :)
Low water pressure in the shower. There were some problems with our room when we arrived, but the staff fixed it so no complaints.
Incredible atmosphere and a calm place in the middle of LA
Staff would be moody
The bed was very comfortable and general staff was pleasant. Bellhop was very nice. The trees, pool, restaurant were good.
One of the girls at the front desk was a bit rude and terse. The rest were very nice. The A/C in the room didn't work sometimes. For $300 I expected more...honestly the place wasn't any different than a Marriott or Doubletree. I didn't see any differences that set this hotel apart. Won't stay again.
Great spot to relax and hideaway
Everything about this hotel and our experience exceeded our expectations. We came back to celebrate our first anniversary and we really given the VIP treatment. We stayed in one of the villas and really enjoyed spending time by the pool. The restaurant service and the meals were fantastic!
very friendly and helpful staff beautiful room wonderful bed two very nice pools rock 'n roll atmosphere perfect location
valet service was a little chaotic
poor check in. Pools are both too small. Pool bar closed too early
Good location and excellent staff.
Value wasn't up to expectations. The pools are shaded in the late afternoons. The rooms, at least where we stayed, didn't have privacy - they overlooked apartments and there was no sheer curtains so it was dark and private or light and no privacy.
Great Location, very close to main Sunset Strip locations. A lot of fantastic restos and bar arround this location.
how friendly and helpful every member of staff was (without exception) with any question or service.
Musty odor in room - had to move
Peaceful, tropical surroundings, great food, great service, wonderful!
Having to leave!
Amazing staff, service, and overall a wonderful place to stay! I would highly recommend this Hollywood gem to everyone I know.
Polite, helpful and smiling staff
Great location, comfortable room, good cocktails.
Our room wasn't ready when we arrived at 4pm (check in was from 3pm) and the front desk staff were not particularly apologetic about this. No necessarily a warm welcome. No tea/coffee facilities in the room. No free wifi - and charged per device, not by room. Surely wifi should be standard everywhere now?!
Food, staff, location and accommodations are all excellent. I'm looking forward to returning. Beds very comfortable and showers/baths amazing. Fantastic service.
The menus are somewhat limited and pricey, even compared to other luxury hotels, but food is very, very good. They need to work on pool bar service. Currently, a drink costs $15 and is served in a 10-oz disposable plastic cup, with no presentation. I get need for plastic by pool, but there are so many options these days to give guests an impressive experience.
Almost everything especially gardens and the restaurant. Rooms are also well appointed and spacious. It's a pleasant place to stay in LA.
Wi-fi was just terrible. It doesn't keep you logged in. You have to do it again and again. It's just inexcusable to offer such a bad service at 10$/day at such an otherwise good hotel.
No tea and coffee in the room you have to ask for this
I liked the cleaning, baggage, restaurant and car staff very much. They were permanently cheerful and helpful.
The desk staff were quite different. Morose, monosyllabic and functional. The room I was given was gloomy and directly faced a high-rise apartment block. The second night of my stay included a band next door partying and singing until 2 in the morning. On a Thursday?!
Great vibrant location in the middle of Hollywood. Restaurant in the middle of the garden is great.
Everything is a little bit old and should be renewed. Staff was not really friendly.
