Good deal for money. Weird smell in room. Needs new carpet.
Facilities are nothing fancy but adequate and clean.
Staff was very helpful, convenient access to I-40, room was clean and was pet friendly. Neat old style motel from the Route 66 era.
So cheap...every thing unplugged, breakfeast was a joke...clerk stood and watched to make sure you did NOT take too much (of small portions of everything)...cheapest Motel we have ever stayed at..Door handle and lock worn out, could move it around rattie looking..window air old and worn
Nothing...NO desk clerk service...had to call a phone number and wait for cleark to come from home....
The rooms were clean, there were plenty of towels, and the beds were comfortable.
wifi was not secure so don't plan on paying bills or using your credit card for anything. Had to finagle with the door locks a bit. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as I was kind of hoping for a continental style breakfast. They only offered three cereal choices yogurt, tiny blueberry muffins, and you had to pay $1 for sodas and juice.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean and no foul orders. All rooms are on ground level which is nice if you have to unload luggage.
Too minor to mention
Convenient location on a stretch of old Rte. 66; friendly, interesting proprietor; would stay there again
Great people, good size rooms, excellent value.
Very friendly and was comfortable and was clean were several places near by to eat and the price was good.
Stayed in a suite with two bedrooms; roomy and nice for the family. Very clean and the staff were terrific. We'll stay there again when we travel through New Mexico.
We had the two bedroom suite, nice and spacious, but coud have done with a door on both bedrooms to give privacy to both rooms
We were made to feel really at home and that nothing was too mach trouble
Two rooms combined so our young children could sleep separately, but safely in a second room.
Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Staff friendly and polite.
Location and value when your travelling I40
The owner was very nice and because I had 3 small children he opened up the suit for us! My children loved it!!!
furniture needs an update
good location, clean
Ice buildup on walkways making it difficolt to walk safely.
Very clean well maintained rooms for the age of the property.
Our only complaint was that we were leaving early on Sunday morning, and the front door was locked until 8am. We were unable to take advantage of the breakfast and couldn't get ice for our cooler.
Our first impression was that it was very clean. We loved the 50s furnishings and how well maintained it was for a older hotel. We were told that it is still owned by the original owners purchased in the 50s. It's a perfect pet friendly facility, and we would definitely go back.
We probably won't be staying here again. Albuquerque is only another 35 miles down the road and the Motels there are almost half the price of this Motel. Property is very old and we felt the price far exceeded the value. We didn't get any of the supposed Continental Breakfast because they don't even open the office until 8:00am. We were on the road an hour before that. There is no where to sit for the breakfast. I guess you have to take the coffee and cakes back to your room.
The room was clean and had no odors.
When I first saw the motel, I was concerned that I had reserved a motel that was not going to measure up. From the outside, as we arrived after dark it was not well lighted and looked a little scary.
The neighborhood was very quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We arrived late and left very early so was there only one short night. I would stay there again. It was a good value.
that we didn't know about it before
clean, vintage, long beds, personable staff, good value
Trucking through - had all the needs good bed, clean, big tv and all wrapped into a upgraded retro Route 66 Motel.
Moriarty is fine as a stop over, but don't plan to spend much time there
Friendly helpful staff Clean comfortable room Good Value Good WiFi
Motel was old fashioned and a little in need of an update of furnishings.
Room doors could have been more secure.
Old time character
It was quiet and convenient. Pet friendly was a big bonus for us! Who couldn't like staying on Route 66?
