The cost and the convenience to shopping and work.
My husband and I have stayed at this location for 3 weekends straight due to work. Every time we have had to have our sheets and pillows changed because they were not clean; to the point of seeing the dirty sitting on the linen. My husband have sensitive eyes and have developed a bump on his eye because the linen. This last stay have brought us to our wit end. We asked if our linen could be changed. The security person was helpful but we had to change our own linen.
I liked the value of the 4 night stay. I liked the staff, for the most part they were very helpful. Like any where there are always a few that are not the warmest, but you learn to over look that. The lady that helped out with the breakfast is so sweet and nice, I remembered her from the last time that we stayed there. She was the only one that I remembered there where different people at the front desk this time. The women that cleaned the room, did a great job.
Well the only two things that could have been better was that the toilet in our room kept running and we reported it to the front desk after our first night and it was still running on our last day at check out. Also the entrance and exit going in and out of the parking lot is a bit dangerous, when there is lots of traffic. When there is some road improvements planned, maybe they could look into putting in a turning lane into the parking lot that will help out with vehicles turning into the parking lot. I think that it would take a lot more to assist the vehicles coming out of the parking lot, but perhaps a merging lane or having the exit moved to the side street.
Location is good, on the way of the shopping malls. Staff is friendly. rooms are clean.
Business internet computer is awfull.
For the are which it's located, it was pretty decent
I felt safe at this Super 8. I could hear the freeway in my room, as hotel was off Highway I-35, but at least there was easy access to get to where I wanted to go in Austin, as I just jumped on the highway. I felt safe at the hotel and no one bothered me. I put the do not disturb sign on my door, and it was respected.
The first night I had neighbors. They were talking loudly at 3 am, and I could hear them clearly in my room. So maybe walls should have been better sound proofed. But since neighbors were just talking, not partying, no big deal in the long run.
I was happiest when I checked out.
Housekeeping never entered the room even once. The room was not cleaned; the towels were not renewed and the in-room coffee was not replenished the entire three nights stay. The free breakfast was fair but the staff did not replenish items adequately. The Wi-Fi never worked. The electronic room card keys either didn't work or they only worked once. I did not expose them to a stray magnetic field that would have disabled them. The location is a step above a ghetto.
Good price Not far from city center but need a car Pretty friendly people
Smoking room smell too much. Old sheets and carpet
i liked the room and how cozy it felt also enjoyed the free breakfast
The noise of traffic and wifi wouldn't stay connected
Close to airport and restaurants
Key card on two different day did not work. Although I put out a do not disturb sign, twice maids tried to enter my room and took the do not disturb sign and shives it under door. Cockroaches in room. Room did not smell clean . I had an oversized truck w/ a car hauler that did not fit in a parking space . Was told by management and guided by staff to park it along side the building. Only to have management leave a not on the truck that I was illigally parked and I could get my truck towed away. Will not stay again at any price.
I liked the cable channels and the pool.
Very uncomfortable bed could feel the springs.did not get a queen bed it was a full size.furniturev is outdated and the so called suite was plain
I liked that I got a smoking room,I liked the staff, I also liked that I couldn't hear my neighbors. In the hall I could, but not in my room. I also liked the quick access to the frontage road and freeway.
I didn't like the carpet in my room, but it appears some expansive renovating was being undertaken while I was there so maybe new carpets will be a part of that. I didn't like that I couldn't take my breakfast upstairs, so that I could eat and finish getting ready for the day. I think that policy is silly. I'm an adult, why can't I eat breakfast in my room? All in all though I don't really have any major complaints.
It was close to where I needed to be.
The construction noise outside my window.
Location Value for Money
The staff was very friendly.
Too crowded and uncomfortable. Room keys WOULDNT work. Got three different key sets and the finally had to change rooms. Then second room had key problems but just dealt with it.
forget what you know about Super 8 this place rocks... absolutely the greatest most generous and helpful staff... Specially miss cutnshoot and management
The room was super large with lots of room. The staff was super nice and tried to be helpful. The maid service ensured we were well equipped with towels.
The hotel is too close to the highway and the traffic noise kept us up most of the night. The TV in the bedroom had a different channel lineup than the one in the living room. This hotel also provides a decent continental breakfast, but their policy prohibits you from taking any food back to your room without a charge being accessed, although they allow you to order food from the outside and have it delivered to your room. The hotel was under renovations at the time and their were lots of contractors on sight. It would have been nice to be aware of the renovations.
Breakfast quick and easy
Wi fi died frequently
The hotel was just off of the freeway and was noisy all night long. Having the F1 races in town made the Hotel very pricy. Breakfast was limited.
Your Excellent Staff made everything good!!!
Free breakfast (great waffles) and Wi-Fi. Loved that they were very accommodating of our dog, although, understandably, they will not clean your room when you have a pet for safety reasons.
Don't really have anything negative to say.
Room was good size. Desk clerk asked me which floor I preferred and he gave us the last down stairs room which was great since I had a dog with me this time.
Beds were a bit lumpy. One of the towels left by housekeeping the next day had stains on it. They didn't come in and make the beds up.. looked like they had only replaced the bath linens.
Will never come back
Everything about staff
Location next to major route to downtown Austin is convenient. The staff were generally friendly and helpful.
Baby cockroaches seemed to really like hanging on our counters and bed. The beds were possibly the most uncomfortable I've ever been in and the pillows were a quarter of the size you might expect from any other pillow you've ever slept on.
The lobby was very nice as was the breakfast room. The rooms were good with very comfortable beds. It's easy to get on I-35 to get to downtown Austin too.
In the morning, they were running out of food at the breakfast bar (although we loved the waffles shaped like the state of Texas).
There was an unkind staff. The staff didn't call airport taxi for us.Although another staff did, I don't want to stay again.
