I didn't know how to take the bus to the hotel so my savings in lodging were eaten up by taxi costs to get there. The driver probably took the long way and charged me for it.
Resting my weary head. Easy public transportation to the airport.
How close to bus stop also nice rooms and durbins pizza good
Had a king non smoking room, which was a great room, just unfortunately was right next to the elevator so it could be slightly noisy from time to time.
Nice size room, pretty comfortable bed, breakfast in lobby was very good.
Walls are way too thin. Could hear group next to us who stayed up until 4am talking very loudly.
Good value and location for our needs. Near excellent restaurants and movie theaters. It was clean and the staff were wonderful.
No complaints everything was ok
I liked thatci was able to upgrade my room after i realized the bed was to small instantly upgraded to a king bed very clean and friendly place staff was excellent in making sure i was satisfied would definitely visit again
They really meet my needs as a handicapped early arrival. Manager was excellent.
Low flow shower
Friendly staff Clean facilities
Breakfast was not good. It is just refreshments.
No one came to clean our room til 6 pm. The complimentary breakfast was cereal and fruit. The guy who waited on us was rude when we first checked in. We will never stay there again.
Things looked OK when I first moved into this motel. The place looks like the picture, they have hot water for shower, internet connection, and free parking, but don't expect anything beyond that. I was woken up at 2am by the people next door, they began to talk loud and play music, then at 3am there came sounds of women (sounds apparently they were whores). The music, women's laughters and a child girl's crying kept until 5am. I called the staff to change a room, they first told me they were cleaning other rooms and will first try to keep the guys silent, and they did, but that did not help. Later they just told me there were no room left. I suggest don't trust the decent review like "this hotel is clean" as well as its fair scores on Google, tripadvisor and anywhere else. The sheets are indeed not clean. Live here for a night and you will feel itchy on your skin. If you are looking for a hotel in Chicago, please do remember to avoid the cheap motels in south suburban.
The rooms are all updated with cute décor and the bed was comfortable. We had no issues what so ever and would stay there again!
The staff was great they were friendly check in and out was great
The room key pad(s) were old. Every day we stayed there, the front desk had to manually let us in our room because the key(s) would not turn the light from red to green to open the door. This happened at different rooms. However, the master key they used always worked. Not having the flexibility to come and go as we pleased was frustrating. I am sorry for the inconvenience worked 10 times the first day. It got old and frustrating for full price on day 2......!
Staff was friendly and tried to be helpful. The beds were comfortable and the continental breakfast was adequate. There is a McDonalds across the street if you want or need more.
That they didn't have my reservation correct.
I went down to get coffee and the employee told me I could just make it my room. I went up to make it and the coffee pot was very dirty. It had stained cofee marks. I washed it in the sink and voila! It was usable and clean. Makes you think huh
The lady at check out appeared to be truly concerned with my experiance from the previous night. Thank you for that!
We had to switch rooms after the first night because we were next to a boiler type room , which was like having a hair dryer going all night. The bathroom door would not shut. The walls are very thin. You could hear the neighbors tv throughout the night. The curtains didn't shut properly, so light streams in around the edges all night. This is not what I expected from a La Quinta. Shabby.
WIFI was out, very annoying in this day and age. Room was REALLY small...and so was the bathroom vanity. Difficult to share with anyone to get ready and leave anything on the vanity to use. Parking spaces were very close and tight. Difficult to enter/exit vehicle. Not in the best of areas or location.
Being on the backside of the motel which was more quite. (Private housing area) The room was clean, and the staff I really really tried their best to accommodate customers. TV was a nice flatscreen LG.
They don't have irons in every room, in fact they only have 5 of them, and when i asked for one they were all in use; after multiple calls every 30 minutes to the desk asking for one; I couldn't get one until the next day 10 minutes before i was checking out.
They did seem worried about getting my needs taking care of, they even gave me a glass of milk for my 2 year old when she wanted some. and they called me as soon as they got an iron. so I appreciate the effort.
smelly hotel, thin walls, dark. Bathroom could be cleaner
Host was friendly at reception Breakfast was OK
The smell and poor cared bed
King mattress was saging in the middle...made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Price seemed high for quality & being a Super 8.
Staff was friendly.
We didn't like the breakfast menu.
tHE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND TRIED TO BE HELPFUL.
The towels are worn
The elevator is very noisy and could not sleep
Nothing that comes to mind!
Location and price was good for just a short over night stay! This hotel is worth the money I paid and hence, can be recommended for a short stay!
