Colony Inn  

The price of the room was great for the location - right across the street to Knott's Berry Farm, and not too far to walk. I was concerned that it might be noisy, but absolutely no issue with noise. The staff was friendly. There was coffee and a hair dryer in the room. The area seems safe and free of undesireable types. Continental breakfast offered from 7-9:00. I didn't wake up in time to see what was offered for breakfast.

The lighting is on timers, and is not bright enough. The pillows are pretty flat. The jacuzzi was cold. There were pieces of soap in the bathtub drain from a previous guest. I would stay here again if seeking a budget room. It's a good place if you are going to the parks in the immediate area, and just want to rest up - our room was pretty basic, but clean. No wi-fi.

The service and helpfulness of the staff was grade A - Excellent!

Where do I start! Room reeked of pot! Tub was dirty! My family didn't sleep at all due to other people loitering outside all night! No security, obviously because no one put a stop to it! The bedding was old and the pillows were flat as hell! I'm extremely dissatisfied and would like a refund! I would not advertise for this hotel! And, .......the outside premises were dirty.......some dirty underwear in a flower pot was the icing on the cake!

I liked that It was cheaper then all the other hotels near by. I also liked the staff who checked me in they were kind and friendly.

What I didn't like was there was dirt on the wall behind the door as if it hadn't been dusted for months.

Esta cómodo y practico para ir a los parques de Knott's . Te puedes ir caminando.. Aunque se ve viejito pero los cuartos están nuevos....

Room was spacious and clean.

Couldn't take breakfast from dining room to our room. Handle on shower valve came off.

The room was awesome in regard to space; bathroom area was set up like what you would find in a home (bath/shower, toilet area separated by a door leading out to a super large vanity/sink and changing area) rather than your average hotel room. Also, the storage nook would provide and travelling family with ample room to set away their things without feeling as though everyone's things have to be assigned a corner or wall or having to cram any of your belongings into display drawers and a teeny closet.

All, and I mean every single lighting component was on an automatic timer. It got to be incred annoying. I didnt find any instructions on how to keep the lights on for longer than 15/20 mins at a time. I was constantly having to make grand gestures to get them to flick back on. And after finding a comfortable (this light on it's second dimmer setting and that one on it's first) light setting, if they turned off, Id have to set everything to a comfortable setting all over again... Epic Boo. I mean, I could have called the front desk to inquire about how to fix this issue but I really felt as though I shouldnt have had to...
