Score from 121 reviews Very good
The location very close to downtown and cheap
They did not clean the room and didn't change the sheets if you are staying a long time
The location was great. Close to downtown,6th street, sights etc. Rooms were comfortable, clean and nice.
The breakfast room was small only had 4 small tables. but we managed to gets seats. It wouldnt stop me from staying here again, compared to other Austin options,
Loved that it was close to the bars on 6th so we could walk
the laundry was not very clean and didn't have enough washers or dryers
Good location and comfortable rooms.
Far from the closest good cafe, slow WiFi and disorder in annoying problems with computer at a reception desk.
For a Super 8, I was very impressed. The outside area looks a little rundown but the rooms were very nice and clean (no carpet!) and the free breakfast was good. Overall, for the money, it was great.
Its walking distance from 6th Street
The tv was excellent and the room was very nice.
Great price and location!
A bit noisy (people were talking loud, laughing) in the night time... (it was friday and saturday nights)
Clean and updated.
Location great - walked to downtown and also to football stadium - and room was clean beds comfortable
Staff very inflexible / unhelpful at check in. Then we added an extra night and had to check out and back in again! Road noise was load (room 130) Noise from room above was excessive could hear every footstep. Fridge didn't work and it took an age to get it replaced next day
Very handy for reaching the 6th street area on foot, and close to the highway for getting in and out of town.
"Breakfast" was abysmal
The room was lovely and clean with wooden floors and was well presented. We had stayed in some Days Inns just before this and they were horrible. It is about a 15min walk from 6th Street where a lot of the bars and food are in Austin which was great and parking is provided so we could wonder in and have drinks in the evening
The Kitchen facilities are small but breakfast was fine non the less. Other than a noisy bunch in another room the stay was very pleasant.
The ease upon which I checked in and checked out was lovely. The front desk staff was courteous and friendly and while I was waiting for my taxi on my departure, a lost traveler was asking for directions and asked for a free paper – clearly not a free paper but the nice fellow at the front desk gave it to him for free anyway. Nice people who run a nice facility.
there were other guests on Saturday night that were throwing what sounded to be a rather large party. It woke me up, but I turned my fan on all night and turned up the radio and went back to sleep.
no bad surprises, close to the 6th street
you need to be early for breakfast, it not you will have nothing to eat - poor refill of the buffet
The room was cozy and clean. The staff was nice. The location was perfect for what we were in town for.
A good location, with the Capitol and entertainment districts a short walk away. Reasonably fast internet.
You get what you pay for in terms of facilities - nothing fancy here.
CRAMPED PARKING. BATHROOM FLOOR OBSELETE AND DIRTY. TUB WOULD NOT DRAIN.
Closeness to UT-Austin. Free continental breakfast.
Guests? / night staff? standing outside room talking loudly ~ 11pm while we're trying to sleep.
Price hotel was older but rooms had been done over nicely, nice shower, TV was new, Wifi good, no smoking rooms
other guests at the motel were up at all hours of the night keeping me awake, asked to move my room and manager refused. Had to call each night at 3am to complain to front desk about drunks. I may have just been there on an off week. There was also a lot of road traffic noise, at 12th street is a pretty busy cross street to Rt. 35.
Beds weren't super comply but fine.
Location was okay if you don't mind walking. We were right opposite state capitol building and not too far from 6th street. Bit of a walk to the bat bridge, but do-able .
No nearby food, noisy motorway outside our room.
It was a great location to downtown
location, cost / facilities

Ironing board didn't work or fixed when brought to their attention .
