The man at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Our TV remote was missing and he brought us a new one immediately. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.
The parking lot and building need better curb appeal.
location, clean room and cost
construction work in hallway
It was easy to find . Enjoyed breakfast bar. Quality of bed was good. Fridge and micro was great. Asked for no smoking and got it. Forgot my pillow but housekeeping brought it to me rt away so nothing left behind accidentally . Overall would stay ahain as it was a good midpoint to my ultimate destination.
Outside noise from nearby business was distracting. Ice machine/vending area under renovation w no other options. Entrance doors much too narrow for person, luggage and toddler grandchild.
The staff were really friendly. The location was easy to get to from the I-15 but far enough away that it was quiet.
The bed was comfortable and the room was larger than usual for these hotels.
I wish they told you when you're booking the room that they are renovating. It is in serious need of it, everything is quite old or needs paint. 1st room smelled and had a very leaky tub faucet. We were upgraded to the larger room, so that was nice. Due to lost paperwork the clerk woke me up twice to ask who was staying in the room. Breakfast was very sparce, we ate out every day. The hallways smelled like someone was cooking in the rooms, and not a good smell. Not someplace I'll stay again.
I had the best night sleep in a hotel room I have ever had because of the bed. I also liked that there is a separate switch for the bathroom fan, and that it does not come on automatically. I also really appreciate the price.
Happy to get a budget-priced motel for a single-night stay near to the Utah Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City. For longterm lodging while exploring an area we would want something more upscale, but for the purpose of a decent night's sleep before checking out to explore Cedar City; see 2 plays at the Festival; and then move on to a condo where we are spending a week, this motel worked out just fine.
Reception was not particularily welcoming; breakfast offered but options not appealing. However, for the price paid, this is a niggle.
Friendly welcome Comfortable rooms Fridge Location
Booked a double queen was allocated a single queen room
room was Great but the breakfast was bad
had to go out for breakfast
Lundry drying machin did not work properly. It took 2 runs, $3.00, to complete the drying and we had to stay late to collect the clothes.
Outdated. Worn look
The way out
Room smelled musty. Toilet blocked and started to overflow everywhere! Total nightmare scenario.
Location was good.
Room was very humid smelling and wifi didn't work
Very clean and nice.
We were upgraded to a king Jacuzzi suite for the price of a queen single.
Friendly, helpful staff and great location for base to visit a variety of sights.
Lack of a pool. Although they could come to some arrangement with the motel next door to allow Super 8 guests access to use their pool, even at a small cost.
Check in was quick. The room was great. I will stay there again.
A little more options on the breakfast menu. The manager Mel was great. Our bed when we first came in had a lot of crumbs on it. Generally it was ok for the price but I don't wish to stay there again.
Breakfast was awful The hotel has an unpeasant smell to it.
Very nice and clean motel, Friendly staff, great value, We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay.
cleanliness, staff, and the room.
The loud people upstairs and the juice machines were running water through them at 9:30 already.
The clerk was very pleasant. However it appeared that she was not aquainted with the problems. The price was good and the location was convient.
The door keys were very difficult to use. We gave up on the first room that we were booked into. The clerk 'upgraded' us to a larger room. We had to try the door key several times to get in. (My guess is the magnetic strips are worn out.) We didn't notice until the next morning that we couldn't turn on the water for the tub or shower. When we told the clerk she said. 'you should have told me, I would have switched rooms' It was too late, we were on our way out, whithout taking a shower.
Room was adequate
Breakfast very poor. Carbs carbs carbs
shower head had a bad hard water build up on it, so it sprayed out in awkward ways.
This location was very clean, staff was accommodating, we were very comfortable. Would stay here again (and we are in the hospitality business). Beds were great!!!'
They could invest in some new spreads, etc. even though things seemed a bit worn it was comfortable. I'd rather have worn and clean than pretty and dirty :-)
