location, price, clean
no pool & hot tub as many Super 8's have. Mattresses made noise whenever you moved. Air conditioners need upgrade.
The beds were kinda hard but that's just my preference. ..
Badly stained carpets, the whole room smelled musty, even the bedcover had stains on it, although the sheets and towels were spotless. The room smelled as if it was an ex smokers room and hadn't been steam cleaned, or decorated since being designated a non smoking room. Yuk!
One friendly staff member out of three.
Two of the three women that worked in the lobby were very rude. Bedside tables were dirty with water marks/coffee marks. When people above us showered, the water flooded our toilet and filled our bathtub with dirty water. We were supposed to stay two nights; checked out after the first night.
location close to sights and family
traffic noise from Hwy 101
Good location right off 101, friendly and helpful staff . Comfortable rooms. Decent breakfast. Shuttle to casino
Motel between divided freeway. Noisy! Pillows HARD. Very small room
pet friendly close to town
were out of pet friendly basic rooms went to a suite
there was a noise coming from the bed every time you made any kind of movement. Talked to desk personnel and the first one didn't seem to care, but wrote it in the log book. the second person said that they had had numerous complaint about this and come to the conclusion that it was the mattress cover. Nothing was going to change as far as I can tell. Also there is no air conditioning and the room was uncomfortable because it was very warm.
Breakfast was great loved making my waffle. Well appointed room.
Pillows small and hard.
We were put in a room that didn't meet the description online. The room was very hot and stuffy, no air conditioning. The beds were clearly not queen sized, smaller. We were able to change rooms. Unfortunately there was a knocking sound in the bathroom (possibly the wind through the vent?). We had them listen, said there was nothing they could do at this time. We just closed the door and it wasn't too bad.
Very friendly staff
Room a little small
I can't find fault for anything. so far my stays have been great.
The web site advertisement was not even close to being accurate.
The room was clean and the staff was friendly
The in room refrig was noisy and we had trouble with the heater. I could not get the wifi to work either.
Clean room and a freindly/helpful staff
Too noisy - located between two heavily travelled roads with significant truck traffic
Friendly and helpful staff
The staff was very friendly, and helpful during breakfast.
The room smelled, the floor was stickey, one of the beds bumped on it's frame very loudly just trying to sit on the edge of it, and creaked loudly every time my friend turned over in it. We were also sad there was no table and chairs for us both to sit at. (Only a desk with 1 chair)
clean updated room, breakfast offerings, location and super affordable.
shower head did not adjust and could not connect to wifi.
All! Two nights before: Super 8 in Port Angeles. OK. One night before: Super 8 in Long Beach. Ok. Third night here: i don't understand why Super 8 maintain this hotel in her group! The days after, never more Super 8 for me...
The location, Breakfast was better than some other places I've stayed.
Parking was horrible. We had a nine year old, toddler, and new baby with us (my grandchildren. My daughter and and I have physical issues. We left that evening to get some dinner and while we were gone a bunch of pick up trucks with sandbuggies on their huge trailers took up the whole parking lot where we had been parked. There was no where else to park except pretty far away. My daughter went to the office and related that they took our parking place, infact all the parking places near out room. We were both frustrated because the front desk person told her she couldn't do anything about it. It really was inappropriate and she was rude about it as well.
Where to begin... The checking took forever because of untrained staff, and then when we finally got into our room we were bowled over by a strong smell of cleaning fluids...had to leave the door open for over an hour. The wifi went down constantly, and was very slow when it did work. Sat in my car to use the one from the steakhouse next door. Bed was fairly comfy, though not near enough blankets or pillows, and EvERY time someone moved it squeaked loudly. Breakfast was clearly misrepresented by both the site, and by the pictures in the lobby. The only hot food was waffles, unlike what was shown, no eggs, biscuits, sausages or gravy, nor was the room the size they showed. There were only four of us in there and could not move around. I have stayed in many Super 8 motels in the past, and can honestly say this is the worse by far of not only the other super 8's but my my general lodging experiences.
Wonderful King Bed and super large bath compared to the size of the room!
Room rather small overall.
The remodled shower was roomy and had a good water flow.
1)Dirty Carpets 2)Requested Wake up Call-no call 3)Very inconvienent stair case with no hand rail.Long walk & climb with luggage. 4)Very Small room. 5)Continental breakfast was the least provisioned I have ever seen.
Envilope in the room asking for tip.
