mattress was to soft
There was hair in bathroom and on T.V. Also dust on tv and remote did not work. Sheets were stained.
Need a new key for every nite of your stay.
Value for the money, friendly staff, and location.
Close to the motorway so it is easy to escape this disaster.
Surly, monosyllabic staff. Corridors and elevator smelt very strongly (ok, they stank). Our "non-smoking" room had very obvious cigarette burns on the bedclothes and carpet, and smelt very bad. How could house-keeping staff not have noticed? The breakfast "room" was ludicrously small and hence over-crowded - and breakfast choices were abysmal. The big issue though was that our room had a severe infestation of bed bugs and we were both bitten very badly. It took 5 days to get any response to our written complaint - apparently the manager was away and nobody else cared - and whilst he eventually dealt with it, it appears that nothing was done in his absence, so potentially another 5 couples could have been exposed to bites and infections before any action was taken. Needless to say, we will never use any hotel in this chain again. The upside is that at least the manager did take our complaints (with photo evidence) seriously, so maybe the abysmal standards of hygiene and staff training may improve.
They did not have our reservation. Made us wait. Horrible experience. Spend the extra money and go elsewhere
It was nice, clean, had.hair dryer microwave and mini fridge to store medicAtions. Best was the recliner in the room!
Space between bed ad wall was only about 6 inches
First impression upon entering facility is that it is not concerned with cleanliness. Grimy lobby windows and same food in elevator all three days.
Nice place friendly otmosfer
Location to submarine base. Staff worked hard to keep the room clean with what they had to work with.
Filthy floors, worn threadbare linens with cigarette burn holes completely through the bed spread. The entire place needed renovated ten years ago. & the very sketchy people in the lobby & hanging around outside was the icing on the cake. Terrible.
Needed some Electrical work. Plugs broken and outlets loose. Needed more room in breakfast area.
Great location for a day trip to the casino. Decent for the price
The hall way and room smelt like smoke. The rooms were out dated.
It was a room. Breakfast was ok. Nothing spectacular.
Place smelled from old smoke. Obvious that they just put up No Smoking signs. If you are a Non-Smoker, I would not stay at this hotel.
I had a great nights sleep and the price was right. Front desk young man was very niceand polite
As we were trying to get off the elevator to our floor The cleaning lady with her cart pushed her way into the elevator blocking us and pressed the button without even asking us if we were getting off. I had to tell her "Whoa, this is our floor"
Breakfast. Fridge & Microwave in room.
There had been several errors made w my reservation and the general manager went out of his way to make everything right by me. Im a reasonable person and errors occur, I was pleased with how concerned he was making sure everything was made right by me. The location was perfect for where my friends and are going for a few days, a show and gambling, it was close enough to where we needed to go and far enough away that we didn't feel claustrophobic w so many places around us. Hotel atmosphere was great, staffing was friendly.
Not a major issue at all, but our television remote didn't work and when you went to turn the volume down on the tv, it actually changed the channels, lol. I would have liked if the ice maker on our floor had worked too, but nothing really to complain about. I knew we weren't staying at the 4Seasons so I didn't have that type of expectation! :)
The receptionists were friendly. The price wasn't bad. The waffle maker at breakfast was fun.
The blankets had a rather silly floral pattern which didn't go very well with the rest of the room's decor.
The room was nice but the bed was not that comfortable. My hubby & I like the breakfast. The person at the desk was very nice and courteous.
Just the bed was uncomfortable that's about all that was wrong.
At check in, it took over 20 minutes because there was only one person and she kept leaving the front to check if the room was done. When walking to the room, the halls smelled like cigarette smoke. This odor carried into the room--the room, the bed, everything smelled like smoke. The linens were not changed, the rug not vacuumed, the bathroom was sorta cleaned, but the box of tissues had smeared blood on it! It was the worse hotel I have ever stayed in. I tried to go down to cite my concerns, but there was no one at the front desk. I waited about 10 minutes when we decided to pack up and leave for another hotel! I can't believe a chain hotel like the Wyndham Hotel chain had a hotel like this! Entirely all too upsetting!
The bathroom ceiling was caving in, the room smelled, the complimentary breakfast was honey buns and coffee
This hotel was right off I-95. It was only 6 miles to our venue in Mystic but much more friendly on our wallet. The staff were great and accommodating. The room was great, the tv, heater, bathroom were all clean and worked. We will definitely stay here again next year. The breakfast offered a waffle machine, two kinds of juice and coffee with pastries. Very comfortable beds and quiet atmosphete.
I noticed that even though there was a card reader for the outside back entrance door, it was never locked. I would feel safer knowing I needed my card to get in after dark especially.
Location was good, right off I-95 and lots of restaurants nearby.
Room smelled urine near the bathroom, unfriendly staff (lack of staff - one guy handled everything, even breakfast), out of breakfast supplies (no milk, no waffle batter, etc.), and worst of all Super 8 charged more than I booked from boorking.com so I had to follow up to get money back.
Kids fighting in hallways and parkinglots. Loud music from other rooms. Foul language. Overall.. Worst hotel I've ever stayed at.
