the place was clean and the staff was good
the shuttle did not come from Airport. I had to shell out USD 20 for one way and in the morning USD 35 for hotel to airport for the cab that increasing the cost. I felt cheated when this was advertised was not provided. If I knew earlier I would have gone to another hotel that had this facility of dropping to hotel and airport.
The cost was pretty good for two beds and it was by far the cheapest hotel I have stayed at since coming to New York. The staff was really nice
How spacious the room was ... And clean the window curtains didn't rise up do to air or heater didn't hear any out side sounds decorations was very nice
No parking lot ??? Parking lot only fit 10 cars and the price was priced as if there was valet parking price should have been 80$ for one room one night without parking and not a holiday
No honest , booking price difference actual price.
The staff, location and airport shuttle service
Poor complementary breakfast
The location is great. It's very close to JFK and about 15 mins from LaGuardia
The breakfast was not good and parking is very limited
The room was quiet.
The young man at the front desk was not accommodating. He watched TV on his lap top while myself and others stood at the window waiting to be checked in. This happened every time I approached the window with a question. Not professional at all. MDT
0. Pickup and drop back to 'Federal Circle' station, near JFK 1. Morning breakfast (nice) 2. Good bed, furniture in the room 3. Peaceful and without disturbance 4. Very decent level of support from Front-Office staff
0. Very expensive. $130 incl. tax for a overnight stay for a 2-Star hotel is not worth it. But didnt have a choice 1. Leaking faucets 2. Could hear my neighbour through the walls and vice-versa 3. Reluctance of the Super-8 drivers, to drop us anywhere else excepting AirTrain stops..(they refused to drop me at a train-station 0.8 miles away, and drove me all the way 3.5 miles to JFK) 4.
Super 8 is very comfortable and convenient for people. Clean and all at a good price
I didn't like that my remote stopped working while I was watching tv
Notjing was worth liking
The toilet was blocked, there were bed bugs we couldnt sleep all night. Ants were in the pillows
Close to the airport.
From the moment we walked in, we knew we made a mistake . It was very dirty, there were drunk people in the lobby, and a very strong smell of marijuana permiated through the building. We had just landed from an international flight, and it was midnight, or else we would have found another hotel. Our sleep was interrupted by people yelling and fighting in the hallway. This place should be shut down. I am no stranger to a good time, but this place was disgusting.
Hallway stinks floor in bathroom not clean hair all over the place just nasty
We booked the room because of free shuttle service but We had to take the cab, because they did not have a shuttle driver that night, there was a small refrigerator in our room , but we could not close the door, there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom .we paid $ 152 for this room
Airport shuttle could not drop us off early in the morning.
Location was perfect for the function I attended
Discourteous staff Dirty carpet Washroom poorly santized, no Wash cloths Stale, cold coffee in Foyer. Incomplete coffee maker in room. No breakfast as advertised and paid for in reservation. No iron in room, only to be had by depositing $20 for use and refunded upon return. Dirty Refrigerator. Its Freezer is clogged with ice.
AC, window view
staff relations are so poor. the telephone in the room was not working and it was need to communicate with friends who needed to talk to us.
Convenient location near JFK with shuttle to/from airport. Although not cheap ($152 incl. taxes), it was the least expensive short-term advanced booking near the airport.
It took four tries upon arrival at JFK to get through to the hotel for shuttle pick up. Hotel smelled of mold and was in desperate need of a complete makeover. We checked in around 9:30pm and one of our rooms had not been cleaned. Overall this property barely receives a single star.
That a shuttle picked us up and returned us the following morning fromJFK
Notices at check in of women.who.could.no.longer "rent" a room at this hotel, no smoking signs everywhere yet the minute off the elevator it smelled like a bar, advertised breakfast, only coffee found, operated by a one man show! I felt like.I.should have paid by the hour yet we spent big money to rest our heads since our flight was cancelled and stranded at airport! Did not feel safe here with my two children!
Alright hotel. Price was the most decent in area.
Breakfast was in the basement very secluded. Not very modern and the highway is located right in front of the hotel.
close to the airport
we arrived 10:30 pm, room h been reserved for two days. When we went into our room it hadn't been made up from the day before. really dirty. It took 40 mins to get it clened up. The beds were very tired, and the pillows were Spartan at best. the entire facility needed a face lift and or at least a good cleaning. was promised breakfast which never materialized. It was the second worst stay ive experienced in a name hotel.
Nothing good in this motel
Kleaning not good, you can smell it, the rooms are very small and no reception. The breakfast are really bad it does not equal the value of the money.
I was wingingit ffor 8 days in Long Island I used booking.com everynight all through the hampton's and tried to only stay at $130.00 a night and believe it or not this was the nicest room I had, when I got there the parking lot and area scared me and the lobby made me think I was I'm a bad area but the room was right out of a design magazine and was the best night I had
I Liked the NY pictures on the wall. I liked the staff.
The building is poor, and needs to be renovated. Poorly landscaped, inadequate customer parking, and the smell of marijuana throughout.
Some staff were very helpful and friendly.
The breakfast and the breakfast room was disorganised. You would not get breakfast if you are not there the earliest. They didn't show up to change the bedsheets and clean room. The door of room 342 was seriously jamming. I had to force it open to get in and out. The safely latch on the door was broken. They promised to offer me another room but they never did. The bath and bathroom had a lot of flakes, spots and blemishes, and having no exhaust air outlet. The elevator looked very old and was dirty inside, having stains on the door and walls. Also, there was continuous noise from the belt Parkway traffic.
