Super 8 Joliet/Chicago/I-80  

The location

The room wasn't in the best of shape. The head board was broken off the wall and laying in the corner. Ask for smoking but when you walked in the place smelled like a astray.

When we arrived the sheets were filthy on the bed with yellow stains, the hallways and room smelled like curry and cigarette smoke, the walls and carpet were filthy. We had to get keys three different times to get in our rooom as none of them worked. All the bed sheets had cigarrette burn holes in the bedding, our screens to the window had a huge whole in it. When we left our clothes and luggage reeked!! Horrible hotel!!!

The fellow who welcomed us was a very nice person. He even allowed me to use the house computer to check my e-mails.

Check in was fast. Location was close to expressway and the reception that we attended.

Motel was crawling with young adults/teens drinking, running through halls, shouting, slamming doors till all hours of the morning.

Just the location. There was a Red Roof Inn right next to it I would probably check out the next time I need to stay again.

Everything. Poor service at the front desk. Girl was on one speed and that was slow. Nothing was her fault and she didn't have a clue what she was doing. A gentleman had to stand behind her and the minute he turned his back she had something messed up. She would roll her eyes like it was his fault. She couldn't remember how to register guest and there was a line of us. If she was new I don't think there was any help for her. She just wasn't getting it nor should you have someone at the front desk that can't accept something is their fault.

Centrally located.

Four siblings were at the Super 8. Two brothers in one room, two sisters in another. We attended a funeral, and the church was less than two miles away. If I need a place to stay on another trip, this Super 8 would probably be the one! Thanks! Sincerely, Marian Greene

There was no iron or ironing board, but for the price, that was ok.

Servcie was terrible, lights over sink did not work, walls paper thin room next door snoring loudly, shower bottom worn out and water pooled in bottom of tub, free breakfast was a mess of cheapest sporks and low supplies out of syrup no sanitary or clean at all

Very very very old dirty carpets. Loud clingy heater that interfered with the drapes. I am a very heavy sleeper and am rarely bothered by noise. That air conditioner woke me up! Everything in the place looked old and over-repaired. The bathroom was clean and there was no dust, but that carpet was too disgusting to walk on bare-footed.

Did not like anything about this Motel.

Staff was very unfriendly. No elevator in building, no help carrying all luggage upstairs. The only cover on the bed was the dirty bedspread, no other blankets or sheets. Pillows looks like they were bout 20 years ago. Towels were awful and not enough of them. All tissue boxes ect were empty. Carpet had sticky spots all over. Lamp by bed was ready to fall off the wall. Very shady people inside Motel, some were sitting in stairway.
