눉The stay was ok; however, when we checked out the problems started. My share of the room was supposed to be $117.92. The clerk, who was eating and socializing, somehow charged me the correct amount and then charged $922.09 to my card. I didn't know until the next day when I tried to pay for lunch and my card was shut off. I called and spoke to the GM, Ronnie, who acted like the charge was my fault and I should be ok with their mistake. I needed her to send a fax to my bank so they knew they could pull the charge immediately, instead of 3-4 days later, and she initially refused. Then she hung up on me. After I called her again and she lied, Ronnie sent the fax, but not before my bank added charges to my account for stopped payments. Ronnie refused to cover those because "We fixed it immediately, so it's not our fault." It was absolutely their fault because they charged my card and knew it would take 3-4 days for the money to return. We go to Moab 2x every year. We will NEVER stay there again. If Ronnie had just fixed the error, no harm, no foul, but her attitude was horrible. Never again. Update...I got an email from Ronnie yesterday, apologizing and refunding the $35. However, when I looked at my account, Super 8 again added a charge, this time, $1157.92. It was immediately reversed, but what is going on over there? Now I'm thinking of just shutting my card off permanently.
눇Seriously? Nothing now. Not after being treated like I was. It wasn't that great to begin with. It's a budget Motel with budget service.
