Breakfast- very skimpy. Crowding guests in one section instead of spreading them out especially when there are a lotr of empty rooms.
Cleanliness Convenience Location (just off I-95)
Small room Not so modern
The location was ok. Your sorta close to everything. The room was kinda updated the bathroom was old and out dated:( nothing I would brag about ... It is only a Super 8 after all
Cops stormed the place within the first 30 min my 8 yr old daughter and I checked in!!!! Don't know what was up but the 6 cop cars I saw said it wasn't good. We were scard to walk back to our room!! 2 hrs after check in I checked out. My husband had a serious accident on a fishing trip he was on and they wouldnt refund even 1/2 my money!!! Horrible
Friendly, helpful desk clerk; variety of breakfast foods with toaster, microwave, two juices and coffee.
Bathroom needs updating. Only one soap so had to switch from tub to sink. Slow running drains.
Staff. Location. Price.
The employees were very helpful.
Had everything in the room I needed. Pool was real nice. More than enough parking. Bed was comfortable, bathroom nice and clean. Front desk staff very nice. Nice balcony on second floor.
Steep stairs to get to second floor. I booked on line, price was $142 and upon arrival, Conn. tax brought it up over $168. Could have a bit more for breakfast.
The staff was very understanding about the issues we were having and did their best to quiet the 8 children upstairs unfortunately none of us for any sleep
The sound of a herd of elephants upstairs all night long...
Everything was fine. Just needed a place to sleep after visiting other places.
horrible smoke stench in the room outdated bathroom and furniture noisy air conditioning
I loved the comfort of the room. I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the room and bathroom.
I couldn't figure out how to use the tv, but I didn't have time to watch it much anyway, so it wasn't a problem.
Friendly, helpful staff.
Reservation made well in advance. NON Smoking Room. Was given a smoking room when checking in. The room reaked of smoke. Requested another room, place sold out. I had checked over the last 3 mths and Super 8 was the only place w/room left which is why I went there in the first place. Went and bought a Yankee Candle thinking it may help w/the odor as well as leaving window open and AC on. Went to show, arrived back @ 11p.m. key did not work. Ended up leaving @ 2 am. Couldn't sleep between the odor and knowing that there was an open flame in the room. A different floor or bed size can be lived with, he fact that you are given a smoking room can't be overlooked. The overnight bag and clothes smelled all the way home...there's no excuse. $ 155.00 is a lot of money for a hardworking person, all we got for our money was a dip in the pool.
Location is easy to get to.
Rooms are an old motel with the Super 8 logo thrown on. This is NOT a typical Super 8 quality property. They say breakfast is included- Continental breakfast would have been a Big improvement to what they serve.
Management on premises was one step above poor. I don't know why I chose it.
NO handicapped privileges in bathrom(couldn't close door with wheelchair in bathroom), no shower bench for handicapped on premises, bathtub drain was clogged, very difficult to manuever in room in a wheelchair.
With a snowstorm raging, we retreated to our room and had a takeout dinner. The location is next to a very good Pizza restaurant and gourmet Burger shop was within walking distance. A plus! Our king-size bed was new and very comfortable. The room was recently updated and had everything we needed to settle down for the evening's snowstorm: New HD giant TV was most appreciated. This lodging was a good value and great stop for us after a great Essex Railroad Eagle Flyer trip.
The Mini-Fridge electric outlet was broken so we had to find another outlet to use it. The free breakfast in the morning was adequate and plentiful, but they need to know how make a good pot of coffee. Nothing worse than a weak-as-tea morning cup. The complimentary pot of coffee in the room as backup was the wrong size for the single package coffee packet. McDonald's $1.00 McCafe coffee is down the road. These things I listed are not deal breakers at all. We were happy we stayed here.
Quality/Price. Close to highway.
Room a bit outdated.
Great working space and close to great restaurants. Number of outlets for plugging in chargers.
Location. Close to town and highway. Easy access.
Room smelled a little funky. It would have been nice to have an extra blanket. All that was provided was a paper thin bedspread.
Location next to railroad tracks - husband loves trains HBO access
Steps to second level extremely narrow.
I liked my room but would have liked an extra blanket. Also the toilet was wobbly and when I told the staff and asked for a discount he said I prepaid so there was nothing he could do. That didn't seem right - I believe I should have gotten compensated for putting up with that for 4 days.
